Samui Native Resort and Spa  

Best hotel you could have for this money. Everything is good in hotel. Nothing wrong, no hidden surprises. Even food in bar is cheap and tasty. BUT, if you are not going to rent car or bike it may be hard to go every day to beach by walk. But you have pool as option ;)

Very kind personnel!!! We check in with domestic cat, was no problems with that.

Had to talk for a very long time about the meeting from pier. 14 letters of dialog to come to an understanding just too much! Resort don't have a driver for guests, met us just like an exeption and not cheap (300 baht from Maenam Pier).

Poor Restaurant Service - Waited 80 minutes for Fried Rice and 45 minutes for Breakfast. Good hotel but avoid the restaurant! Bit far from Mae Nam but we knew that when booking, not too much of a problem although lighting along the roads is not great at night from hotel to centre.

Very native, like the name Prepare for spiders and other creepy crawlies. Our air con didn't work it just pumped out Warm air from out side.

Oh wow where shall I start.. I loved this place! When I got there I was warmly welcomed by the owners who suddenly showed me my room and around. I felt like home! Staff can't be any better they helped me with planning my further trip, told me where to go and what to see on the island and when I asked for a bycicle (which isnt very common) one of the stuff repaired her own bike and gave it to me free of charge!! So staff is a 10! then to the room.. It is huge!! King size bed, tv, fridge, air con, fan.. Whatever you need.. Bathroom is huge as well and warm water.. And its very clean. The only reason I didnt give a 10 to cleaness is, because they just made my room once in four days but I guess if I would have asked for it it wouldnt have been a problem.. The bungalows are located a little bit further away from town and beach (around 10-15min walk) which didnt bother me because first I knew it already when I booked it and second you can always rent a motorbike so no problem.. Ah and there is a really nice pool in the quite garden! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a beautiful, quite place. And its very cheap for what it is, they could charge more ;)

Nothing it was amazing!

I loved the silence. Never slept that good as I did here. Pooh and Andiand rest of staff are very friendly ! Room very clean. If you want silnece its the perfect place to stay. Have to get a motorbike to reach beaches. I will come back ! Frank-Germany

Wonderfull place with very friendly staff and guests. Especially We like the owners: Andy and his wife o! We met a lot of new friends and spent vocation fantasticly! Great nature, deep and clean swimming pool, no noise, so everything is ok! We recomend this place to all friendly people, who want to get a great romance with koh Samui in right place!

Nothing at all. Basically all a nightmare.arrived late due to traffic and late boat from surat thani. Tried to call the hotel to tell them this but the phone numbers listed where all not working.when I arrived they didn't have a room for me. Paid 500 baht for the taxi to get to this place in the first place. Yet all he could do is say sorry. The owner told me the booking didn't exist. Aparently was told due to power problems the booking didn't go thru becouse booking.com doesn't email but sends faxes.anyway a friend of his was at the hotel and I was told I could stay at his friend instead. I accepted the offer and the rest is very very sad.

The owner Andy is a thug. Whilst moving my luggage to transfer me to another hotel my camcorder alongside all of my pictures where stolen from my bag.probably by his staff. When I asked if he could help me look he didnt even bother and looked at me like I was a idiot.i lost my camera and all he did was shout at me and asked me to leave with his fists up. Worst ever hotel manager ive ever seen. He looked like a hooligan(no clothes and belly out) and was drunk.how this hotel is even on booking.com is beyond my understanding. Without doubt the worst ever hotel ive ever been to. All my holiday pictures from 2 months of traveling are gone becouse of this hotel. what a horrible horrible experience he has left me. if you want a honorable owner and a hotel choose anything else but this hotel. sadly due to limited time and no police help in corrupt thailand there was nothing i could do. and no proof of this event happening. its all one big nightmare. money can always be replaced pictures of your holidays cannot. words cannot explain how i feel about this hotel and the manager.

The room is nice and large enough to serve family visit. The staff is very helpful and willing to provide service.

The location maybe difficult to find for the first time visitor.

We have stayed at the Samui Native Resort a few times now and cannot fault it. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and the rooms are very clean and huge! The whole resort is very clean and has a nice tranquil atmosphere since it is up a quiet soi away from the main road. I'd highly recommend this place.

It is about a 10-15 min Walk to the Beach!

Everything!!! Me and my wife loved to stay in such a comfortable, beautiful and peaceful place... As we call it in spanish (BBB- Bueno:good - Bonito:Pretty - Barato:Chep) It has it all!... Besides, it has one of the most nice, caring and wonderful people!!... They definetely take care of any of your needs and make you have a great time... We would love to go again and we won't think twice to stay in such a nice place!! We recommend it 100%!!!!

Everything! Very friendly owners, very good service, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, lovely swimming pool, reasonable prices.

Hotel is really good: rooms are spacious and clean, staff are very friendly and not annoying and they don't try to sell you something like day trip to the middle of nowhere or horse riding or dragon flying, etc. I spent there 12 days and it was a pleasure. It seems that the hotel is quite far from the beach but it's actually only 15 minute walk - I walk the same distance almost every day from my apartment to the nearest underground station so i'm used to it, but if you are not, then you should find a different hotel close to the beach.

For travellers or holiday goers looking for a hotel that is away from the madness and offers a relaxing, peaceful stay but is also a short scooter ride/taxi to Samui's nightlife then this resort is ideal! Clean, comfortable rooms, nice pool and at a very affordable price! Also renting a scooter is quick and easy directly through the hotel ( recommend). Also the couple running the hotel were lovely!

At the time we stayed the owners friends were looking after the resort. They were brilliant and helped towards us having a great holiday. Great pool. Lovely comfortable rooms.

The only thing that let it down was the distance we had to walk to get to the shops/beach. But you can easily hire a moped. Also is advertises a spa which there isn't one. Apart from the it was excellent, laid back family feel.

Very spacious rooms and bathrooms, helpful staff on hand, nice pool area. 10 minute walk away from beach. Excellent value for money.

We loved everything about the place, even extended our stay. The owner, her husband and the rest of the staff are sincere and great people, who welcome you(meaning everyone) with open arms to have the most enjoyable vacation time one could imagine. The place is really soothing, with wildlife, like water buffalos, cats and dogs, hanging around premises. The pool is not for active swimmers, but great to relax and have a few strokes in. We'll definately go there on our next vacation to Samui. Note: This place is not for those who look for parties, but for those who want to chill out.

Excellent large room with good facilities. Good deep swimming pool with childrens end. Excellent value for money. Peaceful setting away from traffic and busy town. Staff friendly and helpful. You will not beat this for value. Bikes are available on site. Bar and restaurant available if you want. Ideal place to get away from stress of life. Approximately 1km from main road, along good well lit concrete road, so car/bike is helpful, but that is the beauty of this resort. Some might find it a problem, but we did not. We would highly recommend. Wifi worked well in room.

Nice, clean, big rooms that were great for the amount we paid. Would recommend it for sure.

Location was kind of far from town. Said it was a 5 minute walk but was more like 10-15 which wasn't awful by any means.

De sfeer en muziek in het restaurant, bar vond ik niet passen bij een Spa resort Het horretje in de badkamer was erg knullig met plakband vastgeplakt. Jammer van de mooie badkamer.
