I loved everything! The staff was sooo kind and available. The resort was beautiful and felt at home. Beach it gorgouse...everything is just great! Posto meraviglioso!
I disliked the too many trees around the pool..but everything else was wonderful
staff, beach and food
room assigned to us right next to the bar with music until late night. quite disturbing.
Bar and pool staff. Quiet beach, and beautiful rooms.
Food in the restaurant was expensive and in my opinion not the best. The location wasn't as central as I had thought from the comments (a 10 min taxi or tuk-tuk ride was needed to get to the fun part of the city)
Loved being down the quieter end of the beach. The resort had great facilities and was really clean.
It took a long time to be checked into our room. The staff seemed very vacant and things didn't move quickly at all. Laundry was also very expensive at this resort.
There is so much I would like to say about this hotel, some good, some bad points. It is in a nice location on Chaweng Beach if you want complete peace and quiet. It is perfect for romantic couples and young families. However, if you have older children or are a couple who like to be in the thick of things - it may not be the perfect hotel for you on Chaweng. The beach was clean and the waters gentle and calm. Quiet; quiet ;quiet. Taxis into the heart of Chaweng are 200thb each way... so if you're happy to pay that .... then fine. If you want more choice of Thai food and good restaurants, then you need to walk about a mile or so. Yes, there are restaurants opposite the hotel ..... but that's boring.... and let's face it if you come to Ko Samui.... go see Ko Samui!!
The breakfast choice was disappointing. .... sorry but it was. Fruit consisted for Pastache melon which was dry; and two other melon type slices and pineapple - that was it! No yoghurts; no other fruits or nuts - consider the choice on the island - this was poor. Pastries were nothing more than shop purchased pastries that were rubbery and tasteless. Choice of cereals poor. Very small pool - if you love a big pool - forget it and the area around is cramped and small. It is also Mosquito City Gardens..... so use your spray because within two days, I must have had 20 bites! Don't bother upgrading to a Grand deluxe villa - not worth the money at all. If you are going to stay in this resort and want luxury and not simple accommodation, then choose a junior suite, a villa.... or choose another hotel. There are other hotels on Chaweng that offer more value for money. Paradise it isn't. Having stayed at other hotels - it would not be my first choice.
The room is very special.
Has a bird's-nest on my room, make a noise at night.
This is a lovely hotel on a quiet part of Chaweng Beach. The hotel is literally on the beach but I found the pool area a little small but being a beach person I didn't mind at all. Ideal for all be it young families, young to mature couples. Plenty of options for transfers into the busy part of Chaweng 100bht seems to be the going rate. The staff are really nice although some lack the basics of english but my thai is no better so...I would recommend this hotel but the next time I do return to Koh Samui I'll stay somewhere further up the beach within walking distance of the bars and restaurants.
All ! Perfect spot on the quieter side of Chaweng Beach Excellent food at the Paradise Restaurant Friendly staff
Difficulties to have a scooter for rent at the hotel.
Nice location away from Chaweng central but not best for family with kids if you want to be in center of chaweng. The entertainment singer in the restaurant was very good.
Amazing accommodations. Clean, beautiful location at the very end of the beach. Secluded, quiet, a true beach paradise. Worth every penny.
We loved our entire stay including the junior villa, the super friendly staff, the pool, the beautiful beach front property, the grounds, the restaurant (breaky was awesome). The location was perfect-on the quieter, prettier side of chaweng beach. Close to 7-11and a few souvenir shops. I will be staying here again the next time I am in thailand!
Nothing. It is a fabulous place!
Location is amazing: Beautiful beach with waves; Far enough down the beach to have some peace and quiet, but an easy walk to party central; tons of massage huts on beach nearby with low prices; adjacent hotels have great food and drinks prices!
Rooms were very close together and we needed to have the blinds closed at all times for privacy. Restaurant was overpriced, food wasn't great. Only ate there once.
The room was beautiful (garden view bungalow) and the bedding and furnishings were lovely and clean. The pool and bar restaurant were lovely and the service was exceptional. Staff helped us organise our transfer and trips on the island and were incredibly helpful. The location is outside of the main centre of chaweng and is very quiet but walking distance to everything.
Nothing really to report here except that room service forgot the rice to go with my curry which is pretty minor as this hotel was beautiful.
Very friendly staff, private beach, great toilet/shower, good location not far out of town but far enough to be peaceful.
Breakfast was usually cold although they made your eggs fresh for you
We stayed in a beach front villa - step out and onto the beach - excellent. Room and deck were spacious and well enough appointed. Very well priced mini bar and very good wi-fi connection Staff were fantastic and efficient without being intrusive and always happy to assist. Our cleaner was very good and the room was kept spotless. Location is at a nice quiet end of the beach, good swimming. Twenty minute walk up the beach to the centre of Chaweng. The birthday cake was a nice touch as was the daily fruit plate.
The villa we had was a traditional wood constructed villa and naturally quite dark. Would have benefitted from couple of strong lights in the lounge area to assist reading. Being so close to the beach chairs the smell of cigarette smoke wafted our way quite often - seemed to be a lot of smokers at the resort his time!
Superb location. Beautiful land scaping. Very friendly
it is a garden villa sort of place on several acres and seafront. superb in all aspects especially the personal attention of the staff
the phone in the room is a cordless phone with a bunch of complicated and hard to comprehend buttons. they went overboard. all they should have is a simple phone...
warm, friendly service, personalised attention excellent food and drinks
room facilities, broken window, absence of gym
It was a nice relaxing getaway for our family. Individual units were clean and nicely furnished. Staff were very good and polite, and the overall experience was enjoyable. Great for adults who want nothing more but relaxation and chilling out. Spa was great!
Hotel and staff were great
The constant noise from other techno disco bars that started at 5pm and finished at 3am. We would never go back to Chaweng - the whole town area is ruined by these new techno discos
Very friendly and helpful staff! Thanks to the staff for doing a great work! Nice breakfast.
Too expensive for this small rooms and standard of the buildings! Hotel area feels small and squeezed in. The Beach of the hotel is not really a beach it is mostly a wall of concrete.
The tropical gardens. The breakfast.
With a little more tropical screening privacy of the room terrace would be enhanced.
Cleanliness, quietness, quite close to the centre of Chaweng nightlife
Breakfast could be more versatile, not enough space around the pool
Quite and relaxing. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
A little far from Chaweng beach nightlife.
