Sand Inn  

Hotel is clean, beds are OK, and location is good, next to Jong Ceylon, and right in the middle of Patong nightlife. Beach is 10 min walk. Live music lasts until the wee hours (04:00 or even later) of the morning. If you want a place to sleep early, find somewhere else.

This was my second stay in this hotel. Service is going downhill. They have installed a "smoking zone" on every floor. This is not a seperated room, but juist a few seats and an ashtray in every corridor, just opposite the rooms. Smoke will go into the rooms, and people might want to sit down and smoke (and talk) on whatever time of day or night. Furthermore, it looks like their cooperation with Yorkshire Inn, about use of the swimming pool, is coming to an end. When I visited the swimming pool was said to be "out of service".

The hotel is very close to Patong Beach. THis is probably the only advantage.

Just a few steps away from Bangalu, next to the big shopping mall "That's Siam", close to Robinson and Carriford, it's truly convinient.

Old equipment , quilt and sheets are so dirty, asked them to change becoz found blood on the quilt, but the next one was not better at all. It's not so noisy if the window is not facing to street, but drunk neibours are really annoying!

the staff was not nice, they didnt even help with the luggagesthere is no lift for the hotel so u have to climb all the stairs with ur luggage,its the noisiest location ever, u cant even sleep untill 7 am after seven its more quiet,the rooms are really dirty and old furnished and uncomfortable, even the bed sheets are dirty, there is no swimmimg pool as shown on website its another hotel so you have to walk to other hotel,the price is too high for that hotel, there is many beautiful hotels around...
