Excellent customer service. Detailed interior. Good Breakfast. Excellent pool. Nice views
Too many insects at night. sweet dishes at breakfast need more protection from flies. found a lizard in our room.
Restaurant food and breakfast were ok
Room was having mechanical problems Room service was not working Guest are not in focus, only money! Charging for Bread at lunch ???? Management did not care about complaints SPa capacities were insufficient Road to hotel is desaster
We liked it all
Food was great but could be more towards the Thai tastes than to the western tast bug.
The place is beautiful, great breakfast, big room and huge bed! The staff are great very helpfull and kind. The whole place fills like fairytale
The location is not bad but the road going up to the resort is poor
You don't stay in a room but in your very own house with your private pool totally isolated from the other guests, Amazing view from your villa, great spa, friendly staff.
western food was quite bad, especially during the breakfast. Thai food was great though.
- beautiful sourrounding - very nice staff
- prices are too expensive especially for food and drinks, there is a little village 200m away where you get everything for less than the half - we booked a classic double room but since it was so small we upgraded for 500€ but the room was just a tiny bit bigger. I would suggest booking a little villa with your own pool instead - since we arrived at 4.30pm at Koh Samui arport we had to take care of our own transfer which took us more than 6 hours (usually its 45min with the speed boat) to the hotel and we finally arrived at 10pm at the hotel after a 24h trip - food menu is definitly to big (sushi, italian, german, Burgers and co.), so the quality isn't granted
Everything, lovely place
Inconsistent service in main restaurant
poor Staff Attitude,No Room Service,
-location is terrible no road to the hotel -food is very bad -they even charge for laundry bags
Rooms, views, pool, entertainment, shower, staff
How remote & difficult it is to get to, sadly the food made us sick, beach was small, but beach next door was nice!
Basically everything except the food.
The resort's restaurants are very pricey and the food could have tasted better. Excluding the breakfast which was good.
Spectacular sea views, personal treatment by staff, private beach, spacious rooms and suites, beautiful jungle gardening and surroundings
No kids club, access to nearby village a bit difficult, access road quite rough
Quiet Confortable Romantic
The food is not that great. In the breakfast the fruit juices were not made of fresh fruits which does not make much sense in a country like Thailand. The lady in the reception of the Spa is not helpful if you ask her and only tries to put you in the most expensive treatments. The villas not facing the sun only have sun in the swimming pool for about 2/3h a day.
This place is literally heaven on earth. When you get there, you forget about all the earthly issues you may have and for a short while believe you are living in heaven. Everything looks beautiful. The tiniest details are gorgeous. We even took a picture of the trash can. The designers left no stone unturned...as if money was a non-issue. We stayed in a sea-view villa and a private pool villa - both were excellent in their own right. The breakfast was great. Dinners, while expensive, were a great experience...with live music and dancing. The private beach was secluded and nice. The swimming pool was large and had a beautiful fountain. Must I go on or have you already made up your mind?
As for the negative points, well there is the price...heaven does not come cheap, apparently. Prices are more comparable to Western Europe than Thailand. The location is close to a very tiny village but don't expect much of action there...some stores and cafes. So if you are coming for a blast...then stop right now and book somewhere else.
The staff was super friendly. The view is great. Rooms are very comfortable (We stayed in a hideaway villa). The hotel is built in a jungle and has the authentic feel to it. The food and drink prices are unbelievably cheap and they have daily deals to make them even cheaper. Try one of the massages. They are very professional and the view from the massage area is amazing.
Food quality can be improved. It is more of a 3 or 4 star quality rather than 5. There are only limited number of shuttles to and from downtown area.
The resort and rooms were beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and private beach were really nice. The breakfast was awesome.
The outside bathroom was massive and beautifully designed but I would rather have showered indoors at night - that is just a matter of preference though.
An amazing place, pampering staff, very good breakfast, a place to come and indulge in a few days.
Breakfast, room, overall experience
The staff were amazing, and the surroundings impeccable
The hotel is very high class. Beautiful room. Amazing food.
We had some trouble at the first two day. Didn't get the room we wanted and had to put a lot of pressure to get what we deserved. After we moved rooms wifi was poor. Cable was bad and it took a hole day to fix. During these first two days we weren't treated properly. That made us leave the hotel we some mixed emotions.
My husband and I loved this resort! It was everything we were looking for in a vacation!
The bed was better than most places in Thailand but still was not the greatest.
Great hotel, great view and very satisfying breakfast
Nothing except the way up to the hotel not practicable, very expensive using the hotel cab
-Attentive and very friendly staff. Good English speaking. -Quick and very welcoming check in. Refreshing drink and flannels on arrivals. - Stunning grounds and hotel's architecture was outstanding. Beautiful wood carvings, loved witnessing live wood carvings in the lobby. -Informative introduction to the resort, room, surrounding location. -Incredible views. -Great transfer (car, ferry, taxi to next hotel) at very reasonable price. -Pool size and depth and sitting area outside room. -Gym staff were very helpful. -Evening entertainment. -Good room service.
-Breakfast- Bland food, not a lot of choice, flies around the sauces (BIG turn off!) put me off eating most of the food. Poor quality of food. Service was good though. -Went as two friends- more a place for couples. Perfect for a honeymoon if you're not wanting to explore the island much as the prices of the tours with the resort are v.expensive. -Outdoor bathroom of a nighttime!! If you do not mind being at one with nature, literally, then the rooms with outside bathrooms will be great for you. Be prepared to see snakes, lizards and creepy crawlys. Gaps in the room's roofing and doors so chance they are able to come inside. Had to change room after a snake sighting in our bathroom!! Felt the rooms could have been more secure. -Glass doors felt unsafe. -Noisy air on. -Poor mosquito nets, not secure. -Dirty water. -Advertised as hot tub but actually a outside bathtub- could have had a mossie net around it. Also advertised walk in wardrobe but we didn't have one. -Very secluded.
All about it. The rooms . The place.
Need hotel taxi to go to other places ,
I like to say a big thank you to all the staff making my stay a great time, The rooms was excellent and my own privert pool looking over the sea was just amazing,. Thank you for a wonderful stay will be back very soon
maybe the price of food was a littie experience
