Saree Samui  

Very good value for money if one is prepared to put up with the fact that this hotel is overrun by families with young kids on a budget, i.e. mostly package family tourists. Location is good for close access to ferry service to Koh Phangan (Moon Parties island), but this means the beach is not one of the best on the island as many boats and jetskies pollute the water with oil and noise.

There is not much to dislike if one accepts that this is a hotel focused on budget family tourists. Breakfast buffet could be better, but then I'm used to Marriott quality and this is more of a mid-level/package holiday hotel. Staff are friendly (just as most Thais are), so overall the mediocre restaurant can be bearable. Pool bar service needs improvement as it seems under-staffed during busy afternoons. Overall, you get what you pay for. :)

MaeNam is not for party people so if you are looking for a place where you can really relax I would suggest Saree Samui ... rooms are clean "air full" and nice ... I like it much for relaxing ... Kitchen was also excellent ... I suggest! If you want to make a trip to another islands (Tao, Phangan) it is really also great place because there is a Maenam Pier just 200m next to the hotel. Simply I like the hotel, ocean front villa was a good choice.

The location suited us well, very quiet and a feeling of a private beach. The pool area is very comfortable and directly on the beach. The food and drinks offered are good enough. There are a few other small places around on the beach as well. Very rustic. Staff is very cute, and try hard.

We took Pool Villa, and it was wonderfull decision. Because, you can spend whole day, working, talking with you wife, swimming, than working again, then swimming. Personal is very good, breakfest good too, great beach with very clean sea and 3-5 people at all. If you want to eat something different, you can go to Harry's, or rent a Bike and go to Chaweng (10 minutes on bike). Thank you for great honeymoon week, Saree.

Internet connection sometimes was very poor, and juices on breakfest should be more.

The hotel is not as appealing as it looks online on its website or in booking.com. The pictures are very good online n very different in reality.

Nice hotel, beautiful gardens and beach. The best sea in samui. Nice and friendly stuff. Really " boutique" hotel.

The restaurant served really tasty dishes in reasonable prices, but the breakfast could have more variety from day to day ( everything served was ok though). Also if you travel with kids you have to put the extra bed in the bedroom with you, us the second room is actually open.

Saree Samui was a great place to relax and to get away from the crowds. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Always willing to help and always smiling. We were very impressed with the John (GM) as he introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. Also he made it clear if we had any concerns that he was there to help.

Ruhige Lage fern von den Partymeilen in Chaweng, aber trotzdem nette Lokale zum Essen in der Naehe. Sehr aufmerksames Personal.

(отзыв от жены святослава :) отличный отель, если вы хотите отдохнуть и расслабится, особенно со второй половиной! милый персонал (всегда улыбчив и приветлив), очень интересный дизайн вилл, прекрасная ванна под открытым небом (особенно если присутствовать в ней вдвоем). красивый пляж и бассейн - получаться замечательные фото. всегда есть свободные шезлонги. массаж - можно делать за отелем (3-4 мин.), цена - 300 бат массаж ног по точкам, 400 бат - тайский. в гостинице дороже, но есть счастливые часы с 10.00 до 14.00 - дешевле. советую все же попробовать массаж в гостинице - отличная эстетика и вид. до "тусы" надо ехать в чавенг (аренда мотороллера 200 бат/сутки) - 30 мин. еда - рассчитывайте в среднем на 800-1000 бат на двоих - без алкоголя за раз. отличное масто именно для отдыха без суеты. мы были сначала в этом отеле 5 дней, потом перебрались в чавенг. с удовольствием приедем сюда еще раз! еда за гостиницей - 2 мин. ресторан (джонс гарден), но цены не на много дешевле.

Отель имеет хороший пляж это значит 2метра от берега не достаеш дна,купание просто супер.Таких пляжей на Самуи мало. На пляж привозят один -два гидроцикла места для катания много 20мин=1200руб. Песок крупный желтый рис, приятно гулять по берегу, если вправо то гядя только в море , есть пейзажи которые печальны,хотя в 1км находится Сантибури достаточно крутой отель.Понравилось все. Нормальные цены на обед,ужин, есть меню на русском языке. Приходят тайцы на пляж в 12 и продают манго ,блины,и т.д. по нормальным ценам. Особенно понравился спа , массаж делают отлично, педикюр маникюр,цена низкая для такого качества.За территорией в шаговой доступности есть рыбные рестораны. Рядом буддийский храм, звуки от которого не напрягают. Также рядом пристань комани Лампорьях где можно купить билеты на экскрсию на Ангтон, советую.Есть проблема со звуко изоляцией на вилле,если в комнате при работающем кондинционере то нормально, если душ и терасса то можно слышать соседей.Имеется хороая стерео система с набором музыки релакс включил и посторонние звуки исчезли,можно захватить и свои диски.
