Reseption girl A ( thats her name) is very helpfull and the only person who can speak some english. Also reseption lady Som and the cleaning boys and their older brother( who is doing everything) are very nice. First walk in was a bit scary(Because of the Street) and ı thought that hotel was far to everywhere but everything is ok there and close to everywhere. (You can use BTS) Ive had very good friends there and thanks to everyone. Pool is something good
The man at the reception( bosses son). He is soo unkind to everyone. ı was there for 20 days and everybody there was complaining about him. Never tries to help, says no to anything you ask for. If you dont smoke ask for none smoking room because some rooms smells like an ashtray. Mosquitoes(milliones of them at the lobby, because of the pool ı guess)
Room is very Bad and not clean. Room smell very Bad. Room is very old. I'm never go back again.
5th time staying here and as usual it was excellent, one of the cheapest, yet best accomodation in Bangkok! If you are travelling on a budget and want to avoid Khao San area then this is the place for you! In a nice quiet area yet minutes from the BTS! Room was clean, bed comfy and shower hot!
large, clean rooms, not too far from bts station. best value for a private double room with ensuite i could find!
its located in a little alley that can be hard to find, and dark and scary to walk back at night! i was with my boyfriend so it was okay, but i wouldn't stay there if i was traveling alone.
a quirky hotel for its size..long term residents stay there as-well as hotel guest.. a absolutely brilliant atmosphere,,a pleasure to stay you will enjoy most friendly staaff,,,
hotel building awesome..!
i didn't like hotel food
Not much however if I had to put something down the location
Very dirty , tawles were ripped and were changed randomly one day change another not? Room smell from previous and current beghbours of smoke and other filth, rooms not cleaned properly, whole place stinks of bad stench, if you don't mind a smelly room that doesn't get cleaned properly and looking for a good location at a reasonable price well you've found the nest. I will say the ac was very good, overall I do not recommend this place from my experience however you might have a different experience and expectation, all the best ;)
The facilities were great, somethings were basic or a bit worn out like the gym, but they have everything you'd need...Pool, gym, sauna, billiards.
Location was a bit hard to find, the price wasn't the best I've had in Bangkok and internet inside the room costs extra...free in the lobby though.
bad location. very difficult to find a hotel, paid Internet, rooms look very poor.
Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood.
Rooftop pool had lots of drunk people all the time.
location is terrible !!! very far from the city center. inside a muslim area, not really close to the train station, and the worst - to get to the hotel you must go in a long narrow dark paths...which known as thieves area. so actually you can't go there without a taxi, and taxi drivers also don't really know how to get there. as conclusion - the location is so horrible, that it doesn't matter the hotel facilities are fine. do yourself a favour and don't go there!!!
Value for money. View. Pool.
Kind of shady streets you have to walk at night to get home, wifi not in the room only if you pay extra, bathroom was dirty and shower didn't work very good.
Short walk to BTS Pool On site restaurant
Power going off during the night because of faulty or overloaded fuses. It happen on the first night and couldnt be fixed until the morning, so I had to go elsewhere, as the room was a sauna without the AC. They refused a refund because I had booked online, but allowed me one free night at the end of the booking which was acceptable. I stayed a few more days, and the power went out again, but the night guy just showed me where the fuse box was and which switch to reset for my room... why couldnt that be done the first time? Sometimes they didnt service the room. Sometimes this was because I was still asleep in the morning (why cant they come back in the afternoon?) but occasionaly the room wasnt cleaned even when I wasnt there. I got water and toiletries on the first booking of 4 days, but in the week after that, I got nothing. Apartments of equal price have free wifi in the room, this place charges extra 100bhat a day, but its free only in the lobby. Not great. The 'fitness centre' is a couple of broken down machines. The shop closes too early, even when theres a lot of guests around.
On site restaurant location pool on site laundry
unreliable servicing no english speaking night staff
No joke: Upon checking into the hotel room, I found a plastic devils fork (used for Halloween) next to the bed and then a sex toy in the dresser drawer. Thats either a good or bad thing....depending on what you are there for.
Location, Facilities and Value for Money.
Communication. Speaks little English.
good hotel according to money.good swimming pool.
place is very dull far from city life..and the rooms smell bad.
Great value for money, 5 mins walk to train station, reasonably sized rooms, fairly clean. Has room service.
Bad smell in the inner rooms without outside windows. Its less bad on the higher floors but still there. Many taxi drivers didn't know how to get to the hotel. Free wifi only in unairconditoned lobby.
surprising 'nearness' of impressive Chinese 'funeral complex', fine Buddhist temple and Hindu temple, within 3 minutes walking distance / easy access to city train (Surusak station) and Central Pier of Chao Praya express boat service / Good food around
walking surrounding creepy streets at night
Nice staff but they hardly spoke English Free bottle of water
a bit hard to find No wifi in the room only in the lobby
Good location-one stop by over ground train to main city pier for river taxis to palace and temples. Hotel good value for money. If you need to eat, a good selections of restaurants near pier.
Hit and miss with the cleaning and restaurant food. Try the small restaurant next door-that's if they're open.
Love the area. Just close to everywhere. Love the residents. They are friendly and lovely, tho they make noises lol Value for money. If you are muslim you can easily find halal food nearby.
Staff can't speak English mostly
hotel. with nice garden good swimingpool and very good price
all is ok
Loved the pool view and staff were friendly and helped get us to where we needed to go.
it was a hard location to reach taxi drivers wouldn't drive down the ally ways to get there. And it was an unsafe area at night with bag thiefs around.
The toilet paper!!!!!
The constant noise from someone conversing all night close by. The need to get door security cards reconfigured daily (and in the middle of the night). The size of the room....I guess you get what you pay for. Trip spots....what is this, an obstacle course sport? No access points to charge electronics while out of the room
