The staff were trully pleasant and the hotel is really very beautiful

Lots of moskitos, however it is normal because of the dense vegetation (every day the hotel sprays the hotel to eliminate them)

Everything was perfect...staff, place,the food in the restaurant , SPA, swim pool - everything. Lovely place for honeymoon and relax Highly recommended this place

This hotel gets a good rap for its unique grounds - and they are spectacular. Its like a tropical water paradise inside the grounds - beautiful pools, waterfalls, pool bar, and there are other pretty water features all over. The breakfast is ok - not amazing. They do make small changes with it everyday. We stayed in the Baray Villa - and we liked the size of the room and there were 2 bathrooms, the room also had footspas at the end of the bed. Phenomenally huge bed, it was the biggest bed I've ever slept in! The staff were also lovely upon arrival and when we needed anything. Location is not bad - 10 minute walk to the beach or the hotel will provide a transfer hourly. Cheap laundry on the street anywhere

The bad: While the Baray Villa is big - its getting on in age. Not all the features were usable. For example we wanted to watch movies - there was no dvd player - only a I-Mac computer, but the sound was not run through the tv.. They supplied a small set of speakers. You can't hear the speakers in the bed. Also all movies were just fakes - so the quality was terrible. Mosquitos - its true they are in the rooms and you're going to have some trouble with them. The staff will come in and spray your room though - that may help.. But then you have pesticided sprayed everywhere. Also this hotel looks cool inside, but you only need to step outside on the street to realize you are not in paradise. Finally - the price on booking.com did not include the 17% tax that we paid extra on the price of the room. So the price worked out to about $330 aussie dollars per night.. Its not worth that.

Excellent hospitality from staff and great command of the english language. Great breakfast selection. They offer a free shuttle to Kata Beach every hour. Would definitely reccommend this hotel, good value for money.

Hotel's territory was so beautiful with all its nature, waterfalls, fountains and thai architecture. Staff was quite friendly. Breakfast - delicious. Rooms' interior and facilities were, as it's on the photo, excellent. Even in spite of its a little bit small size. Massage salon near the entry to the hotel made my days, really.

No free luggage storage if you go to multi-days excursion. Spa inside in the hotel costs 4 times more than outside.

deluxe garden rooms small and felt like living in a rabbit hutch----no privacy outside the room and very dark.not good for the price.

Luxury and style of the hotel, spacious rooms, exelent aircon, good food,very friendly and polite staff, quiet. But we stayed in Baray Villa,which is the most expensive accommodation in Sawasdee Village.

Location was not perfect.

The little garden and beautiful ponds that wind right through the hotel make the place so peaceful and cozy. The pool, restaurant, day spa and rooms are all well kept and beautifully presented. It was a short walk up the road to markets and nore restuarants and when you wanted to relax it was a quick walk back to the hotel. Or a cheap taxi fee down to the beach. I will definitely be back.

There wasn't anything to complain about. A stress free and very relaxing stay for us.

The room was a bit small, but ok for 4 nights.

We spent nice days at Baray villa number 210 as we celebrated wedding unniversary. All staff was very kindly and everything was perfectly. I recommanded to stay at baray villa if You like something specially.

My stay in Sawasdee was amazing. The Hotel has a Mystic & Nature Spirit all around. The decoration is beautiful and inspire romance (spit of the fact that stayed all by myself). The pool was okay - not too small not too big. The breakfast is a high point of this hotel. The beach is 10 minutes by transportation provided by the Hotel. Kanta is calm crystal water beach - very good for kids and family! I recommend your stay in Swasdee and I would definitely come back.

The mosquitos! They are everywhere - It's a real issue! The room could be bigger too.

The attention to detail is incredible at this resort. The garden and pool are really fantastic. It is the nicest hotel in Thailand

Rooms are a bit small .

Was almost perfect until the last day: 1: Asked when I checked in that if I could pay with cash later even booked by credit card and get an answer, yes, but told charged with credit card already..... 2: I left my luggage in hotel last day as I have a one day trip, but they take my things as somebody else's to put on taxi to airport, lucky that I was at the gate waiting for trip pick up, and found my bags on taxi!!!

The rooms are a little small compared to other resorts, but given the nature of hotel and setting quite acceptable. A little difficult to find, GPS a must before trying to locate if you travel by yourself

The nature atmosphere and typical Thai style really impressed me.

I already wrote a review on tripadvisor but pretty much everything was perfect. The staff are great. This is one of the nicest hotels i've stayed in across the world.

A hot rail would be nice for drying our clothes and some night entertainment.
