This hotel is good when you need a cheap hotel for one night. Staff is very friendly and the hostel looks nice. Wifi works well. Location is nice as well, close to some nice bars and restaurants as well as a night market.
There were no curtains and no blankets in our room. The bed was quite hard as well but you can't expect much for the price. You have to share the toilet/shower with quite a lot of people so waiting can occur.
Tina was easygoing, hospitable and helpful,it's next to sunday market.
Good location, and staff were very helpful!
There was only one bathroom for all the guest. On the 3rd floor, internet didnt connect. Very small rooms! Some rooms doesnt even have windows!
Services like taxis and tours too expensive and not a good quality.
Solid little place
Not really anything
Cheap, nicely located inside old town walls, restaurants around, nice staff, WiFi OK but somewhat shaky
Only one bathroom for many rooms. Furniture very basic.
It's very clean. The master is very friendly
The staff were SO friendly :)
needed mosquito net on screens
Didn't like anything during my short stay.
Room booked not available. Offered box with bed, no fan and inside window and shared bathroom. Security appalling! Was able to return, pack my bag and walk out with no one there to see to me!
good staff and location
no windows and really hot there
I was staying here for a couple of days, I got big bed in a single room, quite impressive, very hospitality and helpful staff, very good shower machine with hot water, speedy wifi, they're providing very affordable laundry service, fast and clean. Exceptional location, some message shop around, some restaurant, faithfully not even half minute to my favourite temple - Wat Chiang Man. Also the roof for the starry starry night, dreamy and inspirational during the night. Absolutely come back again.
A real GH (the family lives on the first floor), small but cosy room with clean private bathroom, helpful with my requests, owners very nice and chill!
Bed was pretty hard!
The people are so nice. The price is good.
The obly good thing is that it's located in the old city, so close to main attractions. Stay here only if you are on a serious buget or don't really care about your confort.
-only fan room, suuuuper hot, could not sleep at night. -quite dirty room and place in general
Central Location and helpful staff
Staff are friendly and committed.
Rooms are small, some of them no windows, traffic is not that noisy yet one can hear it but still, for that amount of money and not for a long term staying, it is fine.
Excellent value for money. Location is very good. The place is clean and the women who runs the place is nice. The rooms are located in the Thai families house, they live on the ground floor. Great for people on a budget.
Location is great, so close to everything! It has a great terrace on the top where is nice to sit on the afternoon and have a beer. The couple that owns the place is very friendly! They helped us to book excursions and told us nice stories about the country. Bed is comfortable and shower is super hot!
Very reasonable price but this is actually one of two advantages of 7 Century. The second is very nice host, always smiling and helpful. There was some problem with room for us (despite our booking) so our host had booked for us a room in nearby hotel at her expense.
- Noisy at night because it's located close to the main road. - Not always clean common bathroom (smelly!) - Open area is very messy - children's toys and clothes are scattered everywhere. - Despite booking in advance there was no room for us so we have to spend one night in other hotel.
Everything, especially the price
Only one toilet+shower, sometimes you have to wait a bit
Bang for your buck, good standard for backpacker
Location is good, comfortable.
Very familiar place with a few rooms. The owners are a joung couple with a small baby. You can often see toys laying around in the common areas. The owners are very helpful and try to make you feel like at home. When I wanted to rent a motorbike, the they took me with their motorbike to the place of the rental service.
In the time around December, it gets quite cold in Chiang Mai. The hotel had very light windows and so at night, it was pretty cold inside. It is helpful if you take some warm clothes along.
Guesthouse ran by a young couple. Both very nice, kind and helpful. They both speak good English. Very economic stay, excellent for backpackers and low budget holidays. Perfect location to start a bicycle tour of Chiang Mai.
