The resort is beautiful and just 6 blocks from the night market but to me, this area of town is unattractive. I prefer the neighborhood around the ancient temples.

Staff were such a pleasure to deal with and absolutely went out of their way to accommodate any of your needs. The grounds are exceptionally looked after as are the guests. The location is such that you can have quiet privacy and yet be in middle of restaurants and nightlife within minutes. We loved this place and recommend it any traveler young or modestly old. Thank you she we wana, we will be back.

Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. They have free update the room to us due to renovation of our booked building. The room is very nice.

    Very Poor wifi

The staff was unbelievably attentive and helpful. The hotel itself was sanctuary from the crazy hustle bag bustle of the city. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key, relaxing place to stay.

    The bed was rock hard.

Staff very friendly, breakfasts lovely, the hotel grounds very peaceful.

Chaing Mai is now a very large bustling city, the hotel is a brisk 20 min walk from the centre of town.

Staff very helpful, decently close to downtown.

Traffic is very loud, especially in the spa which takes away from the true spa feel. Lots of mosquitos. Small rooms difficult to move around in.

Everything was great. Close by to the night makers and old city. There's a market close by with fresh vegetables and fruit along with cooked dishes to go that the locals go for their meals. Tours in Chiang Mai and Change Rei are worth seeing while there. They pick you up at this hotel too. Nice pool

    Mosquitoes. Lol

Wifi didn't always work in the bedroom. Shower went from burning hot to cold

Nice buffet breakfast. Nice restaurant. Lovely coffee shop in the complex. Room was comfortable. The grounds are absolutely enchanting. Nice staff.

Outside of city. Needed to take a tuk tuk to get to the city. At least they are cheap.

A beautiful little oasis right on the main road. You would never know it though. The breakfast was free and a la cart, fabulous! The restaurant also has some of the best Thai food we had on the whole trip. The front staff was so friendly and went above and beyond.

    I can't think of anything....

The hotel made a mistake about the room size. We pre arranged (week before) an upgrade which we had to pay ourself.... When we arrived at the hotel at 5pm the room was not ready. It was quite clear that they did not expect us at all and especially that we are with 3 persons. We had to wait for 15 minutes. We got a room which was awful. This was not a Deluxe Twin room. It was at the very end of the hotel at an alley and it looked like a broom closet. The bed offered for my daughter was not a bed and did not even had sheets on it. When I went back to the reception they did not understand me but after I got angry they did. At first they say to me that all the guest have checked in. Let me say this : When you know that there is a guest arriving with a little child which already asked for an upgrade (because the hotel made a mistake!) you offer him the best room you have within the price range. So you tell your personnel to reserve this room until we have arrived and not give it away to other people. They offered my the apartment which we finally took but I felt I was forced to. The offer they made to us was a insult. I got a better price but still I am not happy. When a customer is unhappy and angry for a good reason (the hotel made the mistake) you offer him a good alternative and the costs are for the hotel.

The grounds and profusion of rare orchids were beautiful. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. It is outside the central city so we liked the easy car access to the super highway and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Our room was really nice, with free natural shampoo, conditionor and shower gel. This is a proper spa resort with a tranquil feel. Breakfast was incredible with both western and Thai of a very high standard. I recommend the pancakes! We would really recommend this hotel.

It's a bit far out of the main area but tut tuts cost only 100 baht so not really a problem.

Very relaxing green mountainous region with something for everybody.Shopping in the markets is great fun especially in the craft market which is there on a Sunday only, night market is open every evening, hagling is a must. For the more adventurous there is zip lining, white river rafting and treking. Elephants are here to, but do your homework try to visit the elephant sanctuary and avoid shows where elephants paint, dance ect ..Prices here are cheaper than elsewhere in Thailand. Especially in the beach resorts where you can pay double thanthat of in chaing mai.

Pick the right time of year to go. We visited at the end of October and had rain two of the three days we were staying. Otherwise no negatives. Lovedthe place.

Quiet Lovely gardens Awesome breakfast buffet

A bit far from the Old City, but that's the charm of this resort. It needs to be a bit far off to be able to maintain peace and tranquility. 60 thb for both my friend and me to get to the Old City using the Red Bus.
