Siam Bayview Hotel  

An old Style Colonial feel in the heart of Pattaya. Close to shopping excellent centers and near to the night life without being in the heart of it. Easy transport right outside. Good choices of food with fair pricing. Enjoyed our stay and have already decided to go back.

I liked the staff, very friendly. No one went into the room with my presence, just planted a note under the door with a desire to clean the room. The hotel has a huge area, very good security. Tennis court with night lighting. Fantastic view to Siam Bay!!!

Did not like the noise outside the hotel, from the nearby Festival shopping center as well from the Beach-Road. There was very loud music several afternoons and nights - "festival days" expressed in powerful bass with the vibrated windows. But this is by no means not the fault of the hotel, but a common problem in Pattaya. Paid Internet and Wi-Fi. Perhaps will be better for hotel to make the Internet free of charge, as it be in other hotels.

Breakfast Very good quality, many choices. Location near beach.

Hotel pool nice, but view is covered by new hotel. I assume some of rooms with sea view will also be disturbed by it. We had a problem with a taxi driver after arrival, who wanted to charge us much as we had discussed before. Taxi driver followed us to lobby, but nobody of the hotel stuff did help us. Taxi driver left after 15min only because we stayed hard. No support from hotel staff at all, they just were standing arround and watching what was going on.

Siam bay view is located near to beach and at center so it is easy to access the beach and market.

The hospitallity of the hotel is not upto 4 star level. Service of the hotel is not good up to 4 star level. Check in and check out time is too much.

gym, needs to be up-dated, equipment not the best for this type of hotel, not so good.

its an excellent property..we were very relaxed..this was r 3rd visit to this property.

Booked in sea view super deluxe room. When we checked in found that the rooms ac was not cooling, brown water in the shower and the tv had a burn out effect. Called reception and they send technicians to check then shifted us to 8th floor. A very old hotel. Location good. Beach, central shopping festival mall very close

Very small toilets. No seperate shower stall. Have to stand in tub to take shower and very risky and slippery. Very old hotel

i was there for 5 nights,room was clean,had free wireless ,was very close to new shopping complex ,my booking included buffet breakfast with good service. i was please

long walk to main roads about 2 blocks to 2nd st, but was gardens,tennis court and parking spots for guesses area,other wise is ok , you have to consider that you are in Pattaya

Location of the hotel is very good since it is close to shopping malls, beach, restaurants and walking night street.

The staff were totally unpleasant, we arrived with an infant and specially requested double bed and cot. They claimed there was no double bed till we presented no solution and after 5 minutes there was double bed already available. The cot never showed up.

the fact that you can just walk out of the hotel and touch the beach, and having so many eating places, shopping close by, and within walking distance to so many places of interest. facilities of water sports such as para sailing, water scooter, etc were available conveniently. And the setting of the hotel was excellent.. refreshing and a retreat from the hectic life of the city. i would like to come back to this hotel again, whenever i plan to visit Pattaya as i loved every bit of my stay here.

The pools are excellent and the rooms spacious and comfortable.

Bathrooms could do with upgrading. Also external renovation work is underway and we were not advised of this when booking.

What I did not like is the hotel charged the credit card in advance, on the 10th Aug 2011, the previous day of my arrival, which is against the cancellation policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. The hotel counter staff could not give any satisfactory reply to my question.
