This cute property was just down alley off a Main Street. It was in walking distance to the Grand Palace, the river taxi, and Khao San Road. The staff knew excellent English and was so extra wonderful with directions and suggestions. The breakfast was excellent.
The beds were hard for our taste, but we slept well.
отличное расположение, сервис, приятное обслуживание, хорошее соотношение цена качество. Great location, nice service, value for mobey
нет шторки в ванной, есть риск залить всю комнату, нет русскоязычных каналов, негде сушить вещи No curtain in the bathroom, no hangers to dry things
Lovely furnishings, extremely kind and helpful staff.
A bit hard to find - hidden in an alley.
Location is great as it's in the old town and close to many temples and historical buildings. Khao San road is close as well but far enough not to bump into tourists on every step. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are basic and a little old fashioned. However, if you like to stay at a great location for sight seeing and close to the bars at Kao San it's a perfect place to stay.
The twin bed was very hard..
Staff very gentle Breakfast is ok They give you good informations to make a tour of the city
Maybe unlucky, but our room had no windows (there were ground glass panels instead, you could not open it). The shower was in reality a kind of machine which gave mild hot water (no window). Position is not bad (democracy monument) but staying near khaosan road is better a lot; hotel is in a small street, quiet but a bit isolated. I think it's overpriced for that room, but maybe it was bad luck.
The staff at Siamese Views Lodge was very friendly and willing to help. They had great suggestions on where to visit and how to get there, they provided tips on safety, they spoke to our taxi drivers so that we could get around more easily and the were nice enough to write out directions in Thai for us. The breakfast was good and convenient. Wi-fi worked well. Rooms were clean. The location was very central, without being directly in the middle of the party. We could join the crowd if we wanted to via a 5 min walk, or we could stay in and have a quiet night.
The bed was a bit hard. The hotel is in a great central location, but it's on a side street. It can be difficult for a cab driver to find it, but we just called the hotel and the staff spoke to the driver and directed him to the hotel.
clean, helpful staff, nice place
really very warm hearted staffs, very good location
water is not hot enough
Lovely reception/dining/lounge area. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the centre of Bangkok but down a side street so quiet.
Room was basic but functional.
From superb staff till nice room, quiet and comfortable bed time, good hot water shower, breakfast ok I highly can recommend this Lodge. Excellent location in the heart of old town with lots of temples and other attractions... My favorite if staying alone in Bangkok City
wifi not always available and not strong signal. I am not many times online, but if, it should work properly. Thats all...
Staff are really friendly n helpful. 10 minutes walk to Khao San road, very convenient n quiet.
If by taxi, it's not easy to find.
Super helpful staff, convenient location, cleanliness
- Off the main roads, but close enough to walk. - All facilities worked fine. - We were given the choice of 2 rooms. - Staff were very friendly and helpful (and cute :-)). - Cute cat with daily changing costumes. - Choice of different breakfast options.
Staff spoke good english, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good and rooms very clean. No insects! Excellent position near democracy monument.
All rooms are non smoking, I smoke so not so good for me! Smoking area on all landings outside the rooms.
i really like the staff there are very welcoming and helpful to there guest.
im not confortable on thier bed its really hard.
Near to kao san road Very friendly people Very clean Price is very good
Small breakfast ;0)
It's a small and quiet place that is walking distance to Kao San road. The room was simple but clean. The young lady at reception served breakfast in the morning and was eager to help plan your day and very caring.
We got to the Democracy Monument but it was still difficult for the taxi to find. It's down the narrow alley on the left just past the McDonalds and Sidewalk Cafe.
Very friendly and helpful staff Very close to tourist attractions Breakfast inside the hotel
Hard bead Hard to find even for locals
Reception staff was exremely kind and helpful and spoke good english (arranging taxis, helping to plan days, etc). Location is at the Democracy Monument and walking distance to Kosan Road. Rooms are clean and the bed comfortable
Breakfast was just okay but nothing special. (some of?) the Rooms have no window, i.e. no daylight
Great location - we could walk to Khao San or Grand Palace (longer walk) and the boat harbor. Great and helpful staff.
Generally expected that no windows or elevators (we chose the room). But I missed most of any cabinet.
Nice hotel with apartment like rooms.
The same receptionist was on the whole time we were there and she had no English which made communicating very difficult.
Staff at the counter is super nice.
Near KS Rd, but away from the noise. Wonderful helpful staff at the front desk. Comfortable bed and close to most of the main sites.
Had to change one of our rooms due to someone eating Durian fruit in the room..
The staff are very friendly and helpful and help you arrange a taxi and local information. The room was very clean and wifi good. The location is away from the loudness of khoasan road which is nice but close enough to walk in 5 mins.
Bed was hard. Location was very difficult to find and taxi man from airport did not know the name of the hotel or the address had to navigate from khoasan road late at night. The hotel is down a small alley which does not look very nice. The hotel is noisy at night because flooring is hard tiles so everything is heard. Walls are thin and next doors bathroom sounded like it was in ours!
