Salivadee has wonderful private beach and pool. This place is great for honeymoon and romantic holdays. The hotel was great. However please be careful as the hotel cheats on prices! They give up to 40% of discount to anybody that asks (provided that they are not full). We lost a lot of money by not asking and not going to competition.

Silavadee was a really lovely resort. The beach was the best part - crystal clear water but rocky. The staff are so helpful and polite and really go out of their way to make your stay special! It is a romantic hotel that is set at the end of a long quiet road. It is in between Lamai and Chaweng and a taxi to each is about £6. Use the service up the road though as the hotel taxis are dear. Down the same road is a few restaurants, massage services (the best) and moped/car/trip agent. Overall a fab stay and would love to return. Overpriced food and drink when the rest of Thailand is a lot cheaper.

Mostly enjoyed the room and the hotel's pool & privet beach (also kayaking there). The staff are very nice and the rooms are amazing. It's a very long walk from the center of the beach. Although they have free shuttles 4 times a day, you cant walk whenever you want.

The views of the ocean were spectacular and we were lucky to enjoy the view from our ocean view room. It was also a treat to have breakfast in The Height restaurant with again a wonderful view of the sea and beyond. The breakfast was also very good. Our room was very spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was nicely designed - I liked the open plan setting and I thought it fitted in very well with the surrounding area. It would have been very helpful to have a courtesy pick up from Chaweng at 9pm, as you have with the courtesy bus from Lammai. Also, with regard to the bathroom, from a safety point of view, a rubber mat for the shower would not go amiss - the floor was quite slippery. I also felt that the furniture and fittings in the bedroom and bathroom were rather tired looking for a top class hotel.

The hotel is on a quiet cliff between Chaweng and Lamai beach, very well equipped. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are big and well designed (eco-friendly), often provided with Jacuzzi. The restaurant both buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner is excellent, good taste, beautiful scene, etc. I would recommend this hotel definitely. The location of this hotel is sometimes a dilemma. It is quiet and far from crowds, but it's also a bit difficult to get around. Free shuttle bus is available from the hotel, but not so frequent. This is really the only point that I can think of an improvement.

The beach and infinity pool were gorgeous. We actually got a room upgrade to a suite with a private infinity pool which was very nice! Price of wine, although wine seems to be very high in general in Thailand

Nice hotel. We have stayed in 3 since we have been in Koh Samui. Staff are very nice Tv reception was poor and location is good if you don't want to leave hotel complex. It costs around £10 to get anywhere and another £10 back. Beach is secluded but small and walks along beach are nor as nice as chaeweng. Lamai beach isn't as good as Chaeweng beach but it is cheaper. Not a bad price hotel but rooms are small and beach view isn't that good.

The view is amazing Showers don't stay at 1 temperature. We stayed in a spa room with view. Rooms are simple compared to other high end resorts. (But still nice). Walk up and down steps to get to pool unless you stay in a villa that is closer, and 3 flights to get to our room with a view. Would recommend a pool villa at this resort, or not really worth it, as have to share a pool which doesn't have that many seats around it. Pool is beautiful though. Breakfast is really good. You can order off an a la carte menu as complimentary.

The resort is wonderful and the staff typically Thai (very welcoming), the resort itself could use a little TLC as certain places look a little tired (paint missing etc.........), that being said I would not hesitate to go again as the location cannot be matched on Samui Resort looks a little tired in places and could use a touch of paint and varnish here and there, also the food menu never changed while we were there

“I like almost anything , the rooms are very nice , clean, huge, very comfortable. The staf very friendly and speak English anouth to understand what we want. Pool very nice and big . The hotel have free shuttle to chaweng . Beach around hotel in my opinion the best beach in Samui , clean with white sand. The area is very nice and in left side of the hotel on the beach you have best Thai food plase ( old lady owned) in Changmon, very recommended. When you arrive to hotel ask for room class to the pool, other way you have to walk alot.” Itzhak, Tel-aviv |
