Silom City Hotel sijaitsee kätevästi Bangkokin Silom-alueella noin 1,6 km:n päässä Hualumphongin MRT-juna-asemalta. Hotellista pääsee helposti kaupunkiin, ja se tarjoaa hierontaa ja ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n. Hotel Silom City on alle 5 km:n päässä nähtävyyksistä, joita ovat mm. kala- ja äyriäistori ja MBK-ostoskeskus. Suvarnabhumin lentokenttä on noin 24 km:n päässä, ja paikallinen tori on 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä hotellista. Huoneet tarjoavat hyvän hinta-laatu-suhteen, ja ne ovat hyvin varustettuja ilmastoinnilla, teen-/kahvinkeittimellä ja hiustenkuivaajalla. Suurista ikkunoista on näköala kaupunkiin. Excellent location for exploring Bangkok. About 15 minute walk to sky train and 1 hr to the airport. Lots of places to eat at and shop at near by. Price was good.

Good value for price. Breakfast buffet a bit moderate, not too much choice. Safety box a bit old-fashioned and hard to operate, a lot of fuzz to close.

The location was great which I don't have problem to move around. The staffs there are very friendly especially the doorman cum bellboy. The room was great which I didn't expect it to be. Will definately be back to stay at this hotel. The only down about this hotel is the breakfast which they could have serve other things than pork as some of the traveller may not be able to eat pork. Other than this, this hotel is Awesome and I have nothing more to say

I stayed thare for 3 nights (actually I booked 4 nitghs, but flight from India was canceled and I got the hotel just morning next day). The location is good, not too far from wherever you go. The staff was very hospitality and really freindly. Breakfast was not too rich but good enough for start the day. Internet worked well. The rooms should have reconstruction. Ac was noisy a bit.

A good value-for-money-hotel. Includes a good breakfast-buffet, spacious rooms with airoconditiong and good location. Staff is very helpful in ordering a taxi, carrying your luggage and advice about what to do in Bangkok or practical information for boat/trains etc. Very helpful, but maybe not the nicest staff though. Sometimes staff seemed a bit bored or unfriendly, even though they were very helpful.

Good location within walking distance 10 minutes to river - we took the orange ferry to the royal palace. Also about 7-10 mins to Patpong rd with all the nightlife. Metered taxi to Kaoh San road only about 75 baht (so about $2.50). Reception staff not friendly - the least friendly of all the hotels we have stayed in. Not one smile in 2 days. The only person who seemed happy to see us was the doorman who was always cheerful and pleasant. Also, we gave some clothes for laundry with the hotel, as we didn't have time to go out looking for another place, and it was RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE! 700 baht for 5 shirts, 2 blouses and some socks/undies. Not dry cleaning, just laundry and it cost over $23!!! What a rip off. Our fault for not checking the prices but we were in a hurry and expected to pay a bit more than on the street but not 5 times more.

The proximity of Patpong, good base for exploring the city. Please watch for the contents of the fridge (it comes to beverages, spirits and peanuts). When checking out I learned that I must pay the amount of 1,500 baht per drink I drank not. Every day I put their drinks and were mixed with those of a hotel. Best to write the contents of the fridge and before the visit cleaners to make the content was not a surprise.

I was upgraded to a deluxe corner room with a gorgeous view on the Bangkok skyline and I was treated to free breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at reception. A real bargain....

Nice, large,comfortable room! Friendly, sincerely helpful staff! Very good breakfast! Great wi-fi signal, however voip calls were not working. The room could use new carpet. It was quite a long walk to the bts, however that could be viewed as free exercise.

Area where breakfast is servered is really nice. To access the hotel from main road, you enter a small lane and pass through a small meat/fish market along the lane, which is not very pleasant.
