Staff was amazing, reliable and takes care of you very well.Location was also very good, by walking couple of minutes easy access to everywhere in the old town of Chiang Mai.

hot weather

Well situated, I went to Sindyguesthouse with my father for Songkran festival. It was perfect to us. Sakki, the owner, is one of the kindest man I have ever met. He was always caring about our well being, calling my father "papa" (dad in french) haha ! He is a very sentimental boy, the name of his guesthouse is good proof of that... Ask him the story of it... It does worth it :) Thank again for everything Sakki !

The staff was absolutely great. Sake (spelling) was very welcoming at reception and incredibly friendly. We were lucky to be assigned the two bed room on the bottom floor, which is highly preferred if you get the choice - as the higher you go in the building, the hotter it gets due to the sun! The room was comfy and had it's own attached bathroom. The beds are what you commonly see at budget backpacker hostels - not a mattress but instead the standard semi-solid lounge mats wrapped in a bed sheet. Good enough for all but the pickiest sleepers. Location is great, a 5 minute walk to the main road in which a moat separates the old and new city - as well as a 10 minute walk from the big bar area (Zoe in Yellow). Overall, a great place that's well worth the stay and budget price!

The young guy who owns the guesthouse is simply the best hotel staff we found in more than 2 weeks in Thailand. The GH is an old Studentsdorm that he is repairing to convert it in a great GH. The location is perfect: a little far from the busy Sunday walking street but within a walking distance from all spots in the city. We slept in the room in the 1st floor: basic Double bed fan room but enough regarding our necessities: we use the GH only to sleep and an A/C in Chiang mai is not necessary at all, eventhough we were there during the scorching season. Last you can arrange all the daytrips from here with the best rates of the city. We did the 1day trekking tour (750B).

Not a problem for us, but there are Geckos in the Bathroom, but you can find them as well in a 5stars Thai hotel.

A little hot in third floor,second floor be better

Cheap, so if you are on a budget, its just a place to sleep! We stayed for almost 2 weeks- one room is large (the other 2 we stayed in not so much) try to get Rm #2, laundry was cheap, close to Sunday walking street and a few streets over are some decent places to eat, otherwise take a cab or tuktuk, owner tries to be helpful!

One room didn't have a flushable toilet, one room didn't have a sink (just a shower head over the toilet), drains in bathrooms backed up and you end up standing in a few inches of water, plumbing smells quite bad at times, got charged for towels since there was a stain on them (but we didn't do it) and almost got charged for a sheet, its cheap, you can't expect much I guess.

Staff there is very kind. His tips for travlling is helpful. 5Mins walking to sunday market free pick-up at airport is worth the value SK2 is nearby

The owner was great! He gave us better information than in a tourist info, and gave us a map, arranged trips for good price, it's a very nice and helpful guy. Great location.

首先老板人超好，会主动介绍周边你需要去的地方，会帮忙联系旅行团，出游很方便，旅馆房间很大、比较干净，- 有独立卫生间、热水，我们住了四天，相对这个价钱还算很不错的啦

Il ragazzo in reception,penso il proprietario,è stato disponibilissimo! Ci ha consigliati ed aiutati in tutto.

Qualità e prezzo vanno insieme...paghi poco ed hai poco.. Ma la pulizia è la base di tutto e qui il bagno era molto sporco e le lenzuola usate.

I enjoyed my stay here, the owner was very friendly and very helpful!! It was a very relaxed environment and a good location being quite close to everything but far enough that you aren't disturbed at night!! The accommodation was basic but clean and that is exactly what I was looking for!! Very reasonably priced!

Helpful and friendly staff. Location is within walking distances to most tourist sites.

No air conditioner. Can be very hot with fan especially on upper floor. Walk some distances to get local thai food . Only one thai restsurant near by. Away from night market.

L hospitalité de l hôte est très appréciable. Il prend le temps d expliquer la ville et donne son numéro de téléphone en cas de soucis. Le wifi est excellent partout dans l hôtel.

Очень доброжелательный персонал, большие комнаты, удобное расположение для освоения Чианг Мая, рядом много бюджетных кафе.
