Forget the Rest...THIS IS THE BEST! The attention to detail, the warmth of the staff, the genuine care and concern of the staff; ALL make this the best hotel in Chiang Mai. The beds are SO comfy, the room was quiet, all tours were organised perfectly. Words cannot express my admiration and gratitude to Mr. Guy from Concierge, who ensured that every aspect of our holiday was a memorable one. In my opinion, a six star facility. You won't regret staying here!
Very big room with balcony and jakuzi.
Here are facts : We had booked the hotel for first night after a long flight to relax. First toilet broked down and flush dows not work. Of course we had discovered it the hard way. We had waited in a terrible smell for an hour or so till it was fixed. Then at night we tried a jacuzzi, and afterwards when we wanted to clean ourselves after a jacuzzi, water just stopped and we were full of soap without the ability to wash ourselves. I had to go down to the reception full of soap at 1am to ask them to fix the water. Again!!!!. They had offered to "upgrade" us at 1pm. when we are dead tired and just want to sleep. Needless to say that no compensaton was offered, even when I had demanded it, all i heard is "I am so sorry" I would not stay there again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel with excellent bilingual stall, a most wonderful concierge - Guy - and a superb breakfast included. The WiFi quality was my only dissatisfaction. Everything else was truly excellent.
WiFi service : (
The size of the room was huge and extremely comfortable with many places to curl up and relax. The spa bath in the suite - a great extra bit of luxury. The food was delicious - I had room service which was very prompt in arriving. This is an exceptional hotel with unique and beautiful decor. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. I loved the pool and the surroundings with the wood carvings showing different stories around it. I will definitely come back to this place for a retreat.
The location is not brilliant for city sightseeing. There is, however, a shuttle service from the hotel to the city. I stayed here for a night at the end of my stay in Chiang Mai as it is very close to the airport.
loved the jacuzzi(hot tub) in our suite we loved the nibbles left in our room at nite. on one hot evening after our return a lovely vase of flowers and a cool drink was sent up to our suite and this was so appreciated.
the cockrel that crowed and woke us up every morning at 5.
The staff are very helpful.
The location is quite from the tourist attraction, the hotel is rather old.
Staff where great and very nice with great touches of tea and fruit made our stay very welcoming. The free shuttle bus was so great. Great hotel
Hot tub was difficult to understand was full when we arrived tough could warm up but had to drain and then fill up again. Although was beautiful when we arrived with petals was annoying.
Staying at the hotel was an unique experience. Would definitely recommend. Special mention to all the friendly and helpful staff (especially Guy the concierge).
Big room, good air con, comfortable lanna style decoration, big bath, private location, friendly staff
there are mosquitoes in the room.
Great stylised rooms with great city view. We had a hot tub roof room which was amazing and the room was perfect for a glamorous stay not to far from the city. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to what we wanted to do and see.
The room is pretty and the personel really nice
To much mosquito
Guy " The concierge" was amazing, very helpful!
Exceptional personal service by all staff. Concierge Guy is the best I have encountered. Unique, beautiful, boutique and 100% effort by all staff to make us feel at home yet luxuriously cared for
No negatives at all!!
The pool was beautiful n surrounded by plenty of exotic plants. The direct access to the pool from the room was really cool!
Beautiful hotel with massive spacious rooms. Great Jacuzzi and comfy bed and excellent WiFi - really, really loved the room. Staff were really nice - and very attentive when we called to get things fixed in our room.
Lots of things in the room were broken/old - toilet/phone broken when we got there. Water incredibly oily (black oil was caked on everything in the tank of the toilet). Breakfast was not very good - room service food mixed - really excellent dishes to really awful/inedible ones.
We appreciated the guidance and support of Guy the concierge and the jacuzzi.
the location, the mosquitos was such a pain.
every thing.not much to say for a man of few words,I would stay there again also my frends too,we liked the location.
Great hotel in Chiang Mai. My wife loved going here for Valentine's Day and the jacuzzi in the suite wasn't bad.
Hard to fine comfortable hotel beds in Thailand...
Very helpful and smiling staff. The food and service in the restaurant was outstanding.
7eleven and the main taxi for Chiangmai very close to hotel.Hotel food excellent
Staff always greeted us with smiles, accommodating, helped plan day trips, provided shuttle service to central Chiang Mai and airport. Breakfast very good. Room was pretty.
Lanna style wooden building although pretty meant Mosquitos everywhere and constantly bit. Outside bathroom swarming with Mosquitos especially in morning. No sound proofing, street very loud. Neighbor dog barked ALL NIGHT LONG that kept us up even with earplugs. Not close to any tourist areas. Wi-fi very slow.
The room was large with comforts. Very traditional.
It was a fair distance out from city, not 5 minutes as stated. You always had to hire a tuk tuk. But a lot did not know the resort and would take you elsewhere. Breakfasts were just average. Pool small. No where to sit around it, no sun loungers. Surrounded by residential houses with roosters crowing all night. I asked for a tea bag for in my room and was informed "no" we don't supply them. Very strange! Only one staff member spoke a little bit of English. The rest non. Do not use their "massage service in room", definitely not qualified masseurs. We think they were just local residents!
Although the surrounding is relatively poor and not that convenient, the interior design and all the equipment are perfect. Living in here made us feel peaceful. We all like this hotel very much and we are quite satisfied. The staff is also very nice and friendly.
The hotel is far from the city center and not in a nice area The rooms and the facilities are very old and not well kept The breakfast is poor
