My wife and I wanted a honeymoon her being Thai she liked the Lanna style of the hotel. we were so impressed with the art and decor but mostly the staff who made our honeymoon so memorable Guy the concierge and the ladies who brought free champagne to ur room and the manager who decorated our room with flower petals to mark our honeymoon What a wonderful experience and memory..Although not in the center of Chiang Mai this hotel is certainly upper class and with the concierge there all our tours and visits were just fantastic. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return again on our next visit to Chiang Mai.

Beautifull room with a large jacuzzi on the balcony. For breakfast you can choose to have it in the restaurant or in your room with no extra charge.

Breakfast was a bit average if you compare it with the rest of the hotel. I expected more. We had breakfast in our room several times, but it always arrived cold. In the restaurant, you will get it warm though. For breakfast you need to fill out a form what you would like the next day and at what time. I prefer to go to the breakfast when I want and choose my breakfast then. The bathroom is on the balcony. Not much privacy when you step in or out your jacuzzi or shower. Lots of gaps between the windows, so mosquito's could come in easy.

The hotel is 5 minutes driving distance from the center. motorcycle can be rented at the hotel up to 250B. Seven/ Eleven in walking distance. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and lovley designet. Very pleasant is the jacuzzi in the room. Rooms are very clean. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Very good service. good value for money.

Unfortunately, the windows have 2cm gap mass so that mosquitoes can enter and also is not very environmentally friendly - air conditioning

The staff were wonderful. I asked for a birthday letter to be placed in the bed as a surprise for my friend's birthday and the hotel managed to type my letter out beautifuly and placed it on the bed with a rose.superb service. Very capable and organized. Also the welcome snacks were divine.

The breakfast was a bit average. Definitely expected more with such high standards for the hotel.

Room no clean enough in some place but acceptable

This hotel is wonderful. Our room was very spacious, staff couldn't do enough for you, free airport transfer, great facilities. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Everything was superb apart from the speed of the room service

Room service was poor. Took an hour to get our food order, which on arrival was cold.

Wonderful!!! The rooms looked better than the pictures and the staff could not do enough for you, they'd even nip the shop for you. Cannot recommend enough

The best staff I ever seen, The room is very big and clean. I love the jacuzzi, I really recommend it to everyone. It deserve 5 stars.

The room is huge and beautiful.

100 euro is desapear from my safe, and the safe was broke. The manager even was there, it happens at night, the staff said to me him would come, but after all it never happens. I did't go to the police cos it was 100euro, and anyway the never would give my cash back,very sad!

We booked this hotel because of the Jacuzzi in the room. It was brilliant, relaxing looking out over the city and mountain views. The room was huge with a bed in the middle of the room. All very comfy and spacious.

This hotel is trying to be upmarket luxury like many others in Chiang mai but missed on several points. The overflow pipe from the Jacuzzi above us poured onto our balcony, so I asume ours did too. Breakfast was not filled up quick enough to cope with demand. The cream carpet in the restaurant was very badly stained, not a classy look. Loads of mozzies. I am used to CM so the location did not bother me but it is a hike to the centre. If this was your first visit it could put you off the city.

Kind staff who were eager to help us find things to do in Chaing Mai. Room was really nice and quite unique. Had a very relaxing feeling to it.

Location was in a somewhat run-down area outside of the main city but people were kind and a street with tuk-tuks was close by.

The hotel suite that we had was fantastic the roof spa bath great and room and comfort of room great . The only thing we were not happy about was the breakfast nice food but staff were not on hand enough when things got low but loved the room and location Would go back

Special style of design. Large room.

1) Free transfer to city withdrawn without notice. Tuktuk costs 100 thb each way. 2) Very dim lighting in room. Lot of faulty light bulbs had not been replaced. 3) Poor spoken English from reception staff. 4) Hotel does not have a generator. We experienced a power cut of about 3 hours. 5) Storm which caused power cut also forced open two windows (which are of poor quality) in our room resulting in a damp and unusuable bed. Luckily another room was found for us.

An incredible boutique hotel with unique Lanna Style from northern Thailand! Great and delicate facilities in the suite room. Staff are great and helpful.

room cleanliness varied from day to day. Some days bins not emptied or room not hoovered. Bedding only changed every second or third day.

The hotel appearance was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The room was spacious and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, kop khun mak krab.

The shelves were dusty and left dust on the clothing. The lighting (from a woman's point) was not too good for putting on make up. Breakfast was just ok, but the toaster was inadequate when there were more than 3 people in the restaurant. Suggest buying two or three 4 slice pop-up toasters (quick and easy).

Service. Luxurious rooms. Jacuzzi & sauna.

Open balcony bathrooms = mosquitoes. Had to get taxis or hotel transfers everywhere.

Relax environment and unique experience.

Have bed insects and only one toilet to cater for a family.

the lanna design is up to the reputation as boutique hotel with big room (suite) with nice in room jacuzzi and rustic design both bed and washroom/bathroom. Good for relaxing and honeymooners.

not within walking distance to town but you can rent a bike or hire a tuk tuk

Jacuzzi

There was one day receptionist who was good. But in the evening when we needed help, there was nobody who could speak English or give directions. We wasted a lot of money on tuktuks to wrong places because of this.

Staff didn't speak English. Given wrong directions. Cold buffet breakfast, even eggs! Pool had no sun, bad planning.
