Everything was excellent. Good location, lovely rooms and friendly staff very helpful
Wifi kept going in and out. But not bad. Find it hard to give a bad comment about this hotel
tuk tuk or taxi easily available. near to weekend walking street
- very friendly employees, specially the thin and tall one in the front reception -no elevator (but the guy took my luggage) -good atmosphere with wood
In the night the street is a little dark, so i usually went early to the hotel or i took a tuk-tuk - a smell like moist, a little - wi-fi signal was always down so i needed to use the wifi of next door hotel (open line)
Good rooms for the value. Breakfast was also ok
Staff was not too friendly...would have wish more.
The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a good breakfast each morning that cost 150 baht (< $5.00 US) per person. About a 15 minute walk to the night market. Nice Jazz club just down the street.
Bed was hard, found myself rolling from side due to arm and legs falling asleep. A few insects were found running around the room but hey you are in Topical zone. The tours given by the staff in front of the hotel were poor so avoid them. Got a lady guide, who has her own car, who sits in front of the hotel which cost a little more but was well worth it.
- Location - Free wifi - Helpful staff - Spacious room - Located right next door to a French restaurant/coffee shop w. tasty breakfasts, EU coffee quality and laundry service :)
- Rooms are rather old and because of this fact, there is a certain unpleasant odor in the room (bearable, I bought an airfreshner) - Bed was quite stiff for our liking, of course depends on each one's sleeping habits :) - The AC in our room (incorporated into the ceiling) did not produce cold air, but rather distributed the air from the room; - The toilet in our room was broken and there was always a lot of water around it.
big room nice atmosphere
staff didnt speak very good english not many guests awesome place but much more potential
loved the location, right along one of the main streets, but it was quite. We were able to keep the AC on even when we left the room.
The bed was a little more firm then I am used to. We came home one day and one of the managers was "checking our room to see if the maids had cleaned it properly". Nothing was missing, it was just sort of different experience
Price quality is OK So if it is only for city visit, should be OK, although you need a taxi back from the night market. (which only costs 4 €)
In the hotel and rooms, you can often smell a lot moisture
Rooms lovely and clean. Quiet and calm.
Location was good.
Staff didn´t speak english.Bathroom was dirty.
very good breakfast
limited staff. very kind but limited fluency in English
The Location is excellent and the staff are wonderful. They looked after our bags over night whilst we went to the elephant nature park.
The wifi was unreliable.
Good sized and clean rooms and bathrooms. Very central to old city and moat directly outside.
Didn't have a swimming pool an absolute must sweltering in April temperatures 40 plus. We were on the 3rd floor and no lift. Very quiet didn't have any life. English on front desk limited.
Great location for Songkran festival! Very nice staff and very comfortable. Overal great stay.
Interior & decor fantastic. Great location for easy access to all areas.
Jacuzzi bath ill fitted, didn't work and no separate shower. Staff unfriendly, not interested. Not even a greeting when entering/leaving the building. Staff seemed to dominate the public areas. Only saw 2 other guests during 4 nights. There was an outside area accessible from our room, we were asked not to use it! Reasons unknown.
Hotel facilities were perfect
Very nice hotel, room was lovely and very good value for money.
Its very beautiful hotel, decorated in wood! the atmosphere is very friendly. It is situated very close to old sity. Food market, restaurants of asian and western food, party points -everything is very close too! This hotel is a really good choice to stay!
The only thing is that WiFi sometimes worked quite bad.
It's a very nice and an inexpensive accommodations.
Smoking. Strictness with non-smoking should be done.
The staff reset the WiFi for me when it stopped. They had a great breakfast. The water pressure And temperature was awesome. My room had an extra set of sliding windows to block out street noise. Nice lobby and exterior areas but the layout is a bit odd. They let me leave my bags there the day of checkout so I could go explore.
There was mold in the tile work and silicone sealing in the shower areas. The mattress and pillows were on the firm side. There looked to be slight water damage and repairs that weren't as good as original. It reminded me a bit of the show Holmes on homes if you have seen that.
The location of the hotel is quite good if you don't want to be in the TAPAE gate which is noisy etc also the room in general looks civilised....but looks....Overall is ok even if a bit expensive for their standards.
Ok, this hotel needs to hire real cleaners.. and professional staff who can communicate! The hotel is an acceptable place is a quite sweet hotel, public areas are pleasant enough but the whole picture of the personnel is poor. Rooms are dusty and they didn;t change the sheets till we asked after 5 days.. The people in the reception weren't aware of this. Is like you don;t see any manager there. There is no control in a way in this hotel. Although when we requested it immediately they were happy to help.
The room was nice. Great bed and comfy space. I would go again, the value for its price was fairly good. Recommendable
The bathroom lacked in cleanliness and the bath was a bit old, I think it need a renovation. Because the room was nice. But the hotel is still good enough for its price.
Clean room, good location.
The three days we stayed in the hotel, the electricity was acting up. When we went to sleep at night, we couldn't turn off the lights without turning off the Air con. Mentioned it to multiple receptionists but the problem was not fixed in 3 days. Unfortunate because other than that the hotel was pretty good.
