Fantastic pool area Traditional Thai rooms Excellent, attentive staff
Happy hour drinks were often very slow : )
Bed was confortable and staff friendly
Dirty, old, tons of mosquitos, imposible to use the balcony, no wifi on rooms, not a good location
We loved everything!! The food! The staff! The room! The pool! The cocktails!!! We stayed 2 weeks! I'm Canadian but live with my kiwi partner in New Zealand. The Siripanna definitely made a lasting impression. The buffet and menus gave a huge variety of food so that you never got bored. The morning, lunch and dinner buffets were mouth-wateringly delicious. Oh... And the desserts. Mmmmm!!! The resort had happy hour from 4-6 and with happy hour if you were by the pool there was a beautiful array of snacks and sauces. The room was beautiful and clean and had views of a lush garden below our balcony! The location was great! Short trip to town, not too busy of an area but you can't even tell you're in a city at the resort. It's soooo quiet and peaceful. The staff!!! Simply the best!! We will definitely be returning!!!!! We got home yesterday and this morning we were sad to wake up at home. (keep in mind, we live on the beach in NZ) lol
There was NOTHING we didn't like!!
Fantastic location, just far enough out of city to feel secluded but only 100 baht by tuk-tuk. Buffet breakfast had lots of choice. The rooms/villas were luxurious. Staff were very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend as a place to stay when visiting Chaing Mai.
Quiet and calm place to stay
Breeding Mosquito. ...hard to keep the door open....unclean pool at the balcony. ..
Jimmy the tour operator across the road was absolutely fantastic. The resort staff made us very comfortable
Little bit out of town but very quiet
Gardens, rooms, and brekfast
No wi fi at the rooms.
We had lovely and pleasant time there. The location is not so convenient.
free snack bar by the pool.(sometime)
dirty pool water and quite old poolside wood deck.
Swimming pool is too small and narrow, easy to get hurt Hotel is far away from the city which you almost need to ask front desk to help you to call for transportation
Every thing especially there way of dealing
very nice staff
Pool villas are large and were good value for money, I suppose considering its low season. The location isn't as far out of town as other reviewers have mentioned, a quick ten minute,100 baht tuk tuk ride. For all the negatives about our room that I've mentioned below, the staff was very friendly, courteous and did their best to make things right. Nan was very nice and tried hard to be accomodating. However, the stay was overall, a bit of a let down due to the condition of the room and noise. The pool is also very nicely laid out.
Our room was not clean on arrival. Hair from previous guests in the bathtub, centipede in the shower and dust on most surfaces. After complaining, the room was cleaned a bit better and Nan (a friendly staff member) offered us foot massages and dinner, which we never took her up on anyway. We had a pool villa which was nice and spacious but unfortunately we were unable to get a good night's sleep,as the villas surround the pool and mornings were extremely noisy with people and kids by the pool. Unable to relax properly, we ended up checking out a day early and heading to bangkok.
Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great comfort and care.
WiFi to come w package of room.
The pool was small. Feels more like a pond than a pool.
-Free breakfast -Proximity to train station -Lobby -Food was decent -Staff was friendly and helpful
-Internet connection horrible (have to pay extra for it) -Location is around nothing -Wraparound pool didn't look clean -Could hear hotel neighbors dogs throughout night -Complimentary shuttle never showed for pickup
Nice resort feel.
No free wifi in room.
Great Swimming Pool, however the water was not very clean. Excellent children's play area for young kids.
We had a grand deluxe room and we love it. Room was spacious all around, including the shower and it had a large tub. Bed was big and comfortable too. Would recommend for couples who are there to chill out and wouldn't mind the lack of wifi and TV programmes.
Lack of wifi. Although our booking came with free wifi, it was only for a single device. For additional wifi, it was thb 400 per day. Free wifi is available at hotel lobby but that comes with lots of mosquitoes. Due to lack of wifi, we were hoping for better TV programmes. But sadly, they had limited channels too. None of the typical movie channels available.
Initially, my girlfriend and I stayed 2 days at Siripanna to relax after 2 weeks of traveling. These two days were great, Siripanna is an oasis of peace and quality. The hotel offers one of the most beautiful pools ever seen , the buffets (breakfast / dinner) are great. Furthermore, other meals and drinks that can be ordered during the day have an excellent quality for a good and affordable price. All in all, our two days here were perfect! However, at the end of day two I got sick and the next morning we immediately went to the hospital. It appeared I had suffered an internal infection a few days earlier. The hospital in Chiang Mai was fine and made sure that within 48 hours I got back on my feet. But what has been really special is the care and support that Siripanna has given to me and my girlfriend. Ever since the first ride to the hospital, the hotel manager Ms. Naan (sorry if I spelt it wrong) made sure that everything went as smooth as possible. Ms. Naan accompanied us to the hospital and arranged for immediate assistance. The next 2.5 hours Ms. Naan stayed with us while the research was in progress. On top of that Mrs. Naan and several Siripanna colleagues came by a total 4 times in 2 days to make sure everything went well. In these two days they brought fresh fruit and breakfast from the hotel, they did everything they could to make the stay at the hospital as pleasant as possible. Furthermore, at any time of the day a shuttle between Siripanna and the hospital was available for my girlfriend. After two days I was back on my feet and we were again helped by this time the front office manager of Siripanna, Ms. Sinprasong to check out of the hospital. After that they accompanied us to the airport from which we continued our journey. Getting hospitalized in a country you don’t know is something you’d rather not think about when you’re on holiday. However, the care and support we have received from Siripanna felt like our own family.
pool, friendliness of staff
The swimming pool is amazing, maybe the best I have ever seen, coktail and drinks near the pool were verry good and price is cheap. Breakfast was good
Staff is ok but not verry friendly
Lush green hotel, very friendly staff.nice place to stay, nice pool, spacious bathroom, helpful staff.
Far away from the down town and night bazaar market. Free hotel Tuk Tuk service is available only on a certain hours. At night only 6, 7 and 8pm.
Best staff I've ever encountered. Front desk/concierge/extremely helpful.
The faucets in the shower hard to adjust. Water is toooo hot. The Siripana Village business cards are difficult for taxi and tuk-tuk drivers to read. Perhaps a larger card with a map and clear instructions (in Thai) would be helpful.
The staff was especially helpful and friendly
Free wifi was only in the lobby
