Pool villas are large and were good value for money, I suppose considering its low season. The location isn't as far out of town as other reviewers have mentioned, a quick ten minute,100 baht tuk tuk ride. For all the negatives about our room that I've mentioned below, the staff was very friendly, courteous and did their best to make things right. Nan was very nice and tried hard to be accomodating. However, the stay was overall, a bit of a let down due to the condition of the room and noise. The pool is also very nicely laid out.

Our room was not clean on arrival. Hair from previous guests in the bathtub, centipede in the shower and dust on most surfaces. After complaining, the room was cleaned a bit better and Nan (a friendly staff member) offered us foot massages and dinner, which we never took her up on anyway. We had a pool villa which was nice and spacious but unfortunately we were unable to get a good night's sleep,as the villas surround the pool and mornings were extremely noisy with people and kids by the pool. Unable to relax properly, we ended up checking out a day early and heading to bangkok.

We had a grand deluxe room and we love it. Room was spacious all around, including the shower and it had a large tub. Bed was big and comfortable too. Would recommend for couples who are there to chill out and wouldn't mind the lack of wifi and TV programmes.

Lack of wifi. Although our booking came with free wifi, it was only for a single device. For additional wifi, it was thb 400 per day. Free wifi is available at hotel lobby but that comes with lots of mosquitoes. Due to lack of wifi, we were hoping for better TV programmes. But sadly, they had limited channels too. None of the typical movie channels available.

Initially, my girlfriend and I stayed 2 days at Siripanna to relax after 2 weeks of traveling. These two days were great, Siripanna is an oasis of peace and quality. The hotel offers one of the most beautiful pools ever seen , the buffets (breakfast / dinner) are great. Furthermore, other meals and drinks that can be ordered during the day have an excellent quality for a good and affordable price. All in all, our two days here were perfect! However, at the end of day two I got sick and the next morning we immediately went to the hospital. It appeared I had suffered an internal infection a few days earlier. The hospital in Chiang Mai was fine and made sure that within 48 hours I got back on my feet. But what has been really special is the care and support that Siripanna has given to me and my girlfriend. Ever since the first ride to the hospital, the hotel manager Ms. Naan (sorry if I spelt it wrong) made sure that everything went as smooth as possible. Ms. Naan accompanied us to the hospital and arranged for immediate assistance. The next 2.5 hours Ms. Naan stayed with us while the research was in progress. On top of that Mrs. Naan and several Siripanna colleagues came by a total 4 times in 2 days to make sure everything went well. In these two days they brought fresh fruit and breakfast from the hotel, they did everything they could to make the stay at the hospital as pleasant as possible. Furthermore, at any time of the day a shuttle between Siripanna and the hospital was available for my girlfriend. After two days I was back on my feet and we were again helped by this time the front office manager of Siripanna, Ms. Sinprasong to check out of the hospital. After that they accompanied us to the airport from which we continued our journey. Getting hospitalized in a country you don’t know is something you’d rather not think about when you’re on holiday. However, the care and support we have received from Siripanna felt like our own family.

Lush green hotel, very friendly staff.nice place to stay, nice pool, spacious bathroom, helpful staff.

Far away from the down town and night bazaar market. Free hotel Tuk Tuk service is available only on a certain hours. At night only 6, 7 and 8pm.

Best staff I've ever encountered. Front desk/concierge/extremely helpful.

The faucets in the shower hard to adjust. Water is toooo hot. The Siripana Village business cards are difficult for taxi and tuk-tuk drivers to read. Perhaps a larger card with a map and clear instructions (in Thai) would be helpful.

This hotel was excellent. We had to postpone our trip and they were very nice to find a solution and even to upgrade us in the Royal Lanna Villa which was amazing. The breakfast was huge and very good as the restaurant. The option of bringing food in the room was excellent, so we had nice romantic dinners after that our children were in bed.

Architecture, gardens, room size, location at edge of town

Needs money spent on wood floors and general upkeep. Food needs more variety especially breakfast. Cannot walk to town but only short ride in tuk tuk.

nice place, nice pool, spacious bathroom, nice and helpful front desk staff & shuttle driver. Massage at the spa was good.

the front desk staff were very good but they were let down by the housekeeping, who didn't give us the additional towels required, didnt give us sufficient toiletries, didnt wash our cups, didnt replenish the complimentary tea/coffee when we ran out etc. the extra bed on the first night was also terrible as they just placed linen on the day bed, which was terribly hard, but when we complained, the front desk explained that they didn't have any more extra beds the first night we were there and quickly replaced with a proper extra bed the next day. the room could do with a bit more wardrobe space. Honestly for the pricing, we expected better having stayed in Chiangmai at various other hotels previously. However, the front desk was very nice not to charge us for the extra bed after we complained about the bad housekeeping.

All staff are really helpful. A awesome resort and nice swimming pool.

We reached there at 14.00 but the room was not yet ready , so we were waitting for our room almost 3 hours. The wifi is not free in the room.

We very much like the architecture, gardens, pool and Spa. The staff is very friend and go the extra mile to make you happy.

The hotel starts to be dated. Signs of wear and tare are everywhere and need some attention by the management. A fresh lick of paint, new towels for the bathrooms and sunbeds would give the whole place a fresh look.

We booked a villa in this lovely resort for six nights and loved every minute from the moment we checked in until the day we left. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and most had excellent English. The grounds and rooms are impeccably maintained. We enjoyed daily breakfast (excellent spread) and a couple of evening meals in the restaurant, which were all of good quality and reasonably priced. As a honeymoon treat, we arranged a "private romantic poolside dinner" one evening, with a choice of western or Thai set menu, we chose the Thai of course, which was beautifully prepared and presented and great value. There are limited shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, however the hotel offers a regular free shuttle into the old city and THB 100 will get you in and out quickly and easily in a tuktuk. The resort spa offers an extensive choice of massages and treatments, our massage / pamper afternoon was relaxing and rejuvenating and is highly recommended.

The only inconvenience we encountered was the early (7pm) pool closing, a couple of evenings we would have enjoyed a moonlight swim.
