Sofia Garden Resort  

My Thai Wife and I stayed at the Sofia Garden Resort for 6 nights (7 booked but the weather was very bad.) It is owned by a Fin and his wife - they have a daughter named Sofia!! We booked off the web and we think the choice was excellent. The room was extremely comfortable having a tv, fridge and hot shower. The room was made up daily and had clean sheets each day plus 2 fresh towels. There were also 2 small bottles of water put into the clean and serviceable fridge,daily. The room was treated with fly spray daily. Everything in the room worked - each electrical socket was high current as our 2000 watt kettle worked. The bathroom was fully functional with a large clean mirror in place. The electrical shower worked perfectly - the shower head holder was loose but was fixed in the evening after I reported it. The bed was excellent for us - it was very firm - just as we like it. The hotel has a large swimming pool named Sofia (chlorine) which we used due to the sea not being close. (Most people hire a motorcycle (200 Bahts/day) and travel the short distance to a good swimming area. We had our mpv hence we were free to travel. (Costs 420 Baht Ferry return). The hotel had a massage service which we didn't use (my wife is Thai and free!). The hotel is about 3 years old but is well maintained and looks new! The restaurant is open planned, the food is not that cheep but I enjoyed my breakfasts - they call it an American Breakfast - but its as English as I am (hp sauce is great and I had my fair share). 120 Bahts - includes 2 hot dog sausages, 2 fried eggs, a pile of bacon, cut tomato, cut cucumber, 2 slices of toast with butter and jam plus coffee, tea or ovaltine. (Drinks are self service). I really feel the hotel is 5 star - thank you.

We found that the room cleaners did a great job but the brown bath room tiles easily hide green algae. This was reported to the management.

The swimming pool is ok medium size.The breakfast ok.For go to the beach you must walk 500 mt. Close to the big street and reataurant. The place is quite and peaceful but not wiew about the sea.The room is clean,furniture little old style.

Wir waren hier als Familie.Ein insgesamt durchschnittliches Resort für Familien und Singlereisende geeignet.Schulnote 2-3!

Das Managment war nie anwesend auch nicht deren Vertretung.Mitarbeiter daher inkompetent.Hat uns allerdings nicht gestört.

Die Lage des Resorts ist relativ gut, schöne poolanlage ruige nächte! Scooterverleih ist verhandelbar! sehr saubere zimmer jeden tag zimmerservice!

Mitarbeiter relativ schlechtes bis kein englisch immer den chef anfordern wenn ihr was braucht der kann englisch!

Låg längst main road vilket gjorde det billigare än hotellen som låg precis vid havet. Dock var det enbart 10 min till havet. Hotellet ägdes av finnar o kunde svenska vilket kändes bra då de gav oss tips vad msn kunde göra samt vad man borde avstå.

Inte så fint runt själva anläggningen.

Отличное расположение! Прогуляться до пляжа одно удовольствие. Бассейн ни к чему, так как океан шикарный! Рядом много недорогих массажных салонов и кафе. Уборка в номерах качественная. Интернет заработал на 3 й день, но потом без перебоев.

Nulla. E' molto, molto strano trovare delle persone "antipatiche" in Thailandia, noi ci siamo riusciti. Il personale del Resort ( "Resort"quelli veri sono un'altra cosa ) è sicuramente tra queste. I 100 metri dal mare sono in linea d'aria. Se vuoi andare al mare devi camminare almeno 15 minuti. Le lenzuola della camera erano macchiate, la colazione molto modesta. Il prezzo, visto gli altri Resort (quelli veri) e decisamente alto rispetto alla qualità del servizio. L'unica nota positiva è avere prenotato solo due giorni. Da notare bene che non hanno voluto comunicarci I prezzi delle camere, dicendo che le prenotazioni avvenivano solo via internet.

Struttura piuttosto recente, buona pulizia delle camere, staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Dista circa 10 min a piedi dalla spiaggia, cmq noleggiano scooter per 200 bath al giorno. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

Internet free, disponibile solo in zona reception, io cmq avevo la camera più vicina ad essa, e stando fuori sul pianerottolo riuscivo a navigare.

Piscine tres agreable. Petit dej et resto tres bien. Grande chambre et bien equipée Resto et qq magasins accessibles a pieds Pour plus de choix, le scooter est necessaire (a moins de 5 minutes)

Dommage que l'hotel ne soit pas en bord de plage
