Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villa Hua Hin (formerly known as Sofitel Centara Grand Resort)  

An oasis in the middle of Hua Hin !! It is a fantastic, beautiful and relaxing setting. We spend most of the time inside the resort - except for some rounds of golf, sightseeing and dinner in the evenings. When returing from dinner in the hectic city of Hua Hin, it was soooo relaxing to enter through the gates of the resort - like walking into another world. The staff was very freiendly and helpful at all times. We enjoyed our 10 days stay tremendously !!

These are minor things in comparison, but just for mentioning: It was difficult to use the nice terrace in the evenings due to the moscitos that came out after sunset. The beds could have been a little softer. Baying extra from WiFi should not be necessary. In 2011 this should be considered a commodity.

The location is excellent. Facilities standards remain high but have fallen slightly since my last stay (4yrs ago). Service and staff are attentive and courtious as ever.

For a 5* hotel charging top drawer prices I would expect to have 'free WiFi' to be made available and not to have an additional fee levied.

Our original room was next to renovation work however we were upgraded to a suite when we complained which was excellent.

Room service was slow otherwise we had excellent service

If you want to play golf and tennis or just settle down at one of the various pools and relax, this hotel offers all possibilities. The ideal holiday place! Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, a clean beach and rooms to enjoy! Do not miss any of the theme nights in the restaurants. The food is just outstanding.

If any than that the breakfast restaurant was somewhat to small and became a little crowded at times.

I would say the best of all in Hua Hin..

That they did not include breakfast as being part of the deal, plus not much water activities

more signage expected and would be good to introduce more hotel facilities upon check in

Very good location. Good room around pools. Beautiful gardens.

Over priced food. Buffet food at inclusive price does not suit many older people requiring limited food at reasonable price, forcing many to eat outside hotel. Wine grossly over- priced as in most of Thailand. Limited number of good restaurants in Hua Hin. Poor treatment for mosquitoes in hotel eating/drinking areas.

1. ห้องพักแคบ 2. การบริการยอดแย่ เหมือนว่าโรงแรมมีพนักงานไม่พอในส่วนของVilla 3. ไม่มีการไปทำความสะอาดบริเวณบ้านและสระน้ำส่วนตัว ก่อนและทุกวันที่แขกเข้าพัก แขกต้องเรียกพนักงานไปทำความสะอาดบริเวณบ้านและสระน้- ำ ถ้าไม่เรียกก็ไม่มีเจ้าหน้าที่ไปทำความสะอาด ทำให้รู้สึกเสียดายค่าห้อง และไม่คุ้มค่าในการจ่ายค่าห้องแพงๆ อย่างนี้ 4. อุปกรณ์เครื่องนอนก็มีไม่พอที่แขกจะขอเพิ่มเช่นหมอนห- นุนเป็นต้น 5.วันแรกที่เชคอิน ไม่มีพนักงานต้อนรับมารับแขก แถมต้องให้แขกทวงถามถึงน้ำดื่ม Welcomed Drinks สรุปว่าทริปนี้ไม่คุ้มค่าในการจ่ายค่าห้องและบริการท- ี่ราคาในระดับห้องหรูลักษณะเดียวกันนี้เลย บอกได้ว่าเสียดายเงินค่ะ
