Gorgeous sea view you can get from the balcony. Fabulous location. Quiet and convenient. Swimming pool should be improved, because the water is not clean enough.

An oasis in the middle of Hua Hin !! It is a fantastic, beautiful and relaxing setting. We spend most of the time inside the resort - except for some rounds of golf, sightseeing and dinner in the evenings. When returing from dinner in the hectic city of Hua Hin, it was soooo relaxing to enter through the gates of the resort - like walking into another world. The staff was very freiendly and helpful at all times. We enjoyed our 10 days stay tremendously !! These are minor things in comparison, but just for mentioning: It was difficult to use the nice terrace in the evenings due to the moscitos that came out after sunset. The beds could have been a little softer. Baying extra from WiFi should not be necessary. In 2011 this should be considered a commodity.

This hotel is ourstanding !. The builing is unique, the atmosfere is is impressive: colonial , relaxed and so much dadication. Gardens , pools , the terasses , the building and the service are worth a big detour.Value for money : certainly.

The hotel has the best beach in Hua Hin. Each room with a balcony facing the sea covered bridge. I like the quiet and comfortable in this hotel. If you prefer crowded places, or more concerned about the price, then this hotel is not for you. I do not like the hotel's breakfast

If you want to play golf and tennis or just settle down at one of the various pools and relax, this hotel offers all possibilities. The ideal holiday place! Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, a clean beach and rooms to enjoy! Do not miss any of the theme nights in the restaurants. The food is just outstanding. If any than that the breakfast restaurant was somewhat to small and became a little crowded at times.

Our stay at Sofitel was good. luxury hotel. I really liked the club M, were we could have breakfast and drink and it wasn't so man people. it was clean. beautiful place with beautiful people:)))) The beds was not good. since the rest of hotel is perfect, the beds should be to. they was too hard.

The location is excellent. Facilities standards remain high but have fallen slightly since my last stay (4yrs ago). Service and staff are attentive and courtious as ever. For a 5* hotel charging top drawer prices I would expect to have 'free WiFi' to be made available and not to have an additional fee levied.

Loved the size of the resort and the beautiful gardens around. Best thing was to wake up in the morning and listen to the playful birds singing.

The hotel is amazing, perfect location and friendly staff. We received special tractations for our honemoon en for a birthday. Renovation works started during our holiday which leaded to having breakfast in a different part of the hotel which has a less nice setting than the original railway restaurant. During our stay there were several marriages in the hotel which were never announced but did mean some parts of hotel were closed that day.

This is our 4th stay and the staff greeted us with friendly smiles and are always gracious. The garden wing is newly renovated and has been tastefully modernised. The restaurant SalaThai is fabulous. No - this suits us very well.

The Peace and quiet of the manicured gardens and the lively beach I am writing this from the Nai Lert Park in Bangkok where the fitness centre has outdoor tennis facilities, squash court, yoga studio, sauna and steam rooms as well as a well- equipped and spacious fitness centre. This is something that really needs improving at the Sofitel
