la proposta molto conveniente poer un upgrading della camera con free internet e late checkout la piscina e solarium davvero ridotti, ma questo lo sapevo e tutto sommato, va bene lo stesso |

Rooms were huge, newly decorated and very clean. Buffet breakfast was very good. Hotel location was ideal, with very close proximity to BTS Skytrain station. |

Staff is not friednly. If you want a smile...pay!!! I recommend the hotel for the facilities and not the staff... When we check out we asked for breakfast box as we left the hotel before breakfast time and when we left they pretended we didn't ask anything and they didn't even apologize for the fact that room service failed. |

The location of the hotel is excellent : at around a 20 minutes' walk away from the nearest Chao Phraya Pier and at around a 5 min walk from the nearest bts station at Chong Noong Si. Be careful when you book a socalled 'Club Sofitel' room : the pictures shown at reception (and on booking.com) do not reflect the true nature of some of the old, unrenovated rooms. You may be given one of these and end up feeling considerably cheated out of your extra money...Further more avoid the hotel for any food : the cuisine is desparately below par. This is especially painful in a country that excells in good food: you will eat better in the street. The snacks served for tea and during the coctail hour are for instance of an unimaginably low drabness. Expect soggy hors-d'oeuvres or sandwiches, flabby insipid snacks and unbalanced flavours - totally unworthy of a top French hotel chain ! |

The formula with a Sofitel Club room includes complimentary tea from 4 to 6 including little snacks as well as a complimentary coctail hour from 6 to 8 also with snacks. The first time we stayed at this hotel and took the Sofitel Club room we were given a brand new room of ultra modern design. This time we booked again a Sofitel Club room but were given an old room that could do with some overhaul. It's therefore good to be aware of this. the nice picture of the club sofitel room displayed on bookings.net is not necessarily the room you will get. You might get one of the remaining old rooms. |

we wanted a suite for our 3 days and this hotel had the nicest for the money... plus they up graded us and we loved it.....loved the club floor... didnt give us the information about what we recieved in the club floor when we checked in... also didnt really like the location... |

Nothing much. The staff at the reception need to be sent for training on how to handle customers The room and its amenities did not match the offer in Book.com except for the King Bed. Basic items like hand lotion, tooth brush etc we not supplied. In the bedroom there was no tissue box. If you need tissues one has to go to the toilet to get a tissue. I requested for a box. They supplied but took it away the next day. The food I ordered from room service the disch was not prepared according to what was stated in the menu. I ordered pork ribs fried but what came was sliced pork meat in black pepper and sauteed in some liquid!!! . I asked them to refry but the dish never met what was in the menu. Stay was generally wasteful. |
