President Solitaire Hotel & Spa  

We stayed in three hotels in Bagkok as we went island hopping and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in. On arrival they advised we had been upgraded to the Penthouse as the platinum Suite that we booked was over booked which was a totally amazing room and the view across Bangkok was breathtaking and the balcony was massive and from that moment the staff were nothing but helpful and very accomodating. The door staff to the consirge to the staff in the spa who even allowed us to go in after it had been all shut down for the evening and nothing was too much ...In the moring we were greeted by everyone and everybody allways ready to help if they could the room service served food all night which came in very handy and the whole check in and check out process was hassle free. the location is great you are walking distance to some of the clubs and the hotel has a free tuk tuk service and on the first night they guy took us for a quick tour of the city .. In fact my partner and i are planning a return to Bangkok and we said that without a doubt we will be booking into the president solitate more so after some of the disaters hotels we stayed in Bangkok .. i do not have nothing negative to say this is very much a first class hotel with first class staff to go with it ...

Friendly atmosphere, efficient, polite and helpfull staff from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, to the kitchen and dinning room personnel. Accomodation is second to none. The food is excellent and menu offers a large variety of local and international dishes. Good location, 5 minute walk to SkyTrain; The Spa is located in the hotel. Will return.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Quiet and calm in the very heart of the busy city. I love this hotel - one of the best in the world in my opnion.

Elevator was small and old female reception staff really nice bad smell in the reception I stayed only 2 days, if you would like apartment try Fraser's suites which is more luxurios and superior or Zeinth Hotel thery provide excellent suites.

Room size was generous for the price, and the rooms were very well appointed. There were also many discount offers available for customers to be availed in other outlets. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

The mattress was a bit too bouncy for my comfort.

The hotel staff were all very helpful; our room was lovely. The breakfast was very good!!

The location of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are of a generous size. Apart from a few inconsiderate guests, the accommodation provided a good uninterrupted night's sleep. The staff were helpful, however, it did take some time for the housemaid to remember all the necessary items provided in the bathroom. The bed was a good size and comfortable.

Very clean and spacious room

I was extremely impressed with Presiden Solitaire. My 10th-floor (club floor) room was large, well-equipped, clean, very quiet, and offered wonderful skyline views. The pool and pool area was a little small but nice, and I took advantage of the also small but adequate gym. The buffet breakfast, included in my room rate, was excellent. In sum, a four-star experience.

They put me in a smoking room my first night, and the smell was terrible. I was too tired to complain about it and slept soundly. The next morning, they graciously moved me to a nonsmoking suite.

Wonderful staff, serviceminded and polite. Perfect breakfast.

WiFi not working acceptable in room, to week signal.

Internet Service was very slow and that is not something that a business traveller can do without. The Room Cleaning Service was very slow and only done very late in the day. Furniture was fraying and old. TV in the room requires replacement as colours were flickering on and off. The entire hotel requires a complete revamp.
