A little inside from the main road and no direct shuttle back to the hotel from the main road so a little inconvenient.

Spacious accommodation, well equipped rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, convenience store and on site restaurant. Beautiful big swimming pool and close to shopping and skyway train.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Great emplacement! we has 3 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for everybody. Staff was amazing, always smilling and really helpfull. I recommend this hotel to people that want to go shopping and stay in comfortable room without having to pay the big prices! best value for money so far i had in bkk

The information counter re sightseeing is not perfect. The location is far from the reception and the people do not demonstrate the same openess as at the reception.

Good sized room with plenty of facilities including washer and dryer. Good breakfast friendly staff. Large swimming pool for the kids. A short complimentary tuk tuk ride to the main shopping areas as well as a variety of convenience shops and small restaurants within walking distance.

Very expensive baby sitting service. Luckily we called upon some friends in Bangkok to help while we went out.

The friendliness of the staff in general. Very discrete and attentive. The maid service was on the top.

I reported that the fridge was not working after I realized that most of the vegetables and meat I had in the lower part were rotten. Somebody from the maintenance came to check and promised that it will be changed immediately. By the time it was replaced in the late afternoon all the food stuff had to be thrown in the bin. Nobody apologized for the inconvenience. On my last day I had to check out after 06.00 P.M. and I was told that I had to pay extra. I can understand that it's normal. I am myself a hotel Manager and I know the rules. But taking into consideration that I had some inconvenience during my stay due to the fridge and I had to do extra shopping. I would have at least believed as a professional gesture not asked to pay for the day room. Anyway it was done. I still keep a good souvenir of the Somerset and will surely come back one day. I often come to Thailand.

Location good - 10 mins walk to Asok BTS. But free tuktuk to end of road means just further 3 mins or so walk. Providing the traffic's not too heavy, a taxi is good - to Chinatown was just 80 baht (about £2, so cheaper than BTS and riverboat) Staff very courteous. Concierge very helpful with advice on taxi journeys etc.. Our 2 bed residence was very clean and well equipped - carpet a bit shabby but otherwise interiors are good. Cool chilli restaurant does very good food - reasonably priced - and we had room service from there one night which was very good too. Shop on site too which does essentials - like alcohol! - and reasonable also. Rooftop pool is lovely if you get a chance to relax. Good and varied choice for breakfast. If you go Songkran time - Thai New Year - avoid the tuk tuk back as you'll get soaked by dozens of people on Sukhamvit 16! We would definitely go back!!!

Breakfast, when busy, was a bit chaotic. We had to wait for cutlery as the table wasn't relaid properly on a couple of days. Otherwise, no complaints...

The room had a fully functional kitchen, with washing machine, micro wave oven including a wide range of utensils. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom included a tub and shower. The balcony had a good view of the city. Good Wi Fi signal. Great value for money

Myself and 4 friends stayed here initially for 3 nights upon our arrival at Bangkok on a girls holiday and we had booked a 3 bedroom suite so that we could all be together. Very impressed with both the cleanliness of the room and the size. There was kitchen facilities and laundry facilities in the room but we didn't really use them. Large pool which we more or less had to ourselves whenever we went. A 10 minute walk to Asok station which we used to get around Bangkok during the day. Within walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants...in particular Soi 11. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. We wanted to book an overnight train to Phuket and we asked for directions to the train station-they ended up just calling the station, booking the tickets for us and arranged for the tickets to be brought over for us while we were at the pool. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to book a further 2 nights and the end of our trip before we flew home.

The only thing worth mentioning is that the hotel is down quite a busy narrow road with little or no pavement so required a bit of care when going back or forth. Fine for us, but if you had small children, a stroller or a wheelchair it would be very difficult to navigate.

Syrupy juice at breakfast was HORRIBLE. Why can't they serve real juice? Tour counter is manned by incompetents and really overpriced.

Didn't seem to want to provide assistance so not sure if they wouldn't or couldn't speak English

The location: 7 minute walk to skytrain and the room was great ( clean, new furniture,washing machine, oustanding view from the balcony=> we stayed en tower b the 12th floor).We found everything as described on booking.com.

The staff was not helpfull at all when we wanted to print something on the printers in the hotel's bussiness corner and the printers did not work properly.
