Staff was very friendly. The pool was better than the pictures.
Staff were excellent always pleasant and helpful. In a great location next to canal, short walk to bars and restaurant. Pool was nice and good size. Best kao soy from first street vendor with tables and chairs, if you come our of the hotel turn left then right onto the main road.
The staff were so very kind ms helpful! We loved our room it was like a little oasis in the city. The location was great. About a 15 min walk to saturday walking street or the night bazaar. We loved our stay in chiang mai with Sri Pat!
As with other hotels in Thailand, we found the bed to be a little firm compared to what we are used to at home.
We felt the location was great. Far enough off the main roads to be quiet, yet, close enough to walk to main attractions in the old city and the night market. The staff are excellent. Very helpful with organizing tours, providing maps and directions, and shuttle to the airport. The pool is so refreshing after a hot day. The hotel and our room was very clean. The air conditioning worked well which was absolutely necessary in April.
The staff here were great, nothing was too much trouble. It's in a good location, really easy walk to get to the Sunday market and temples and only a short tuk tuk ride to the night bazaar. Having an enclosed shower area was also definitely a plus.
The mattress is a standard Thai mattress which means it's very hard and firm so it takes some time getting used to
Within a few minutes walking distance we had access to great coffee shops markets restaurants massages. The bed was huge and the shower was one of the best we've had in Thailand
very helpful staff, charming hotel
Very comfortable - lovely staff, very clean, nice to have the pool - highly recommended!
in the old town, very helpfull staff, could do all my bookings with them, swimming pool has lunch time sun
Nothing we didn't like
Stayed here for a week, its a fantastic hotel, the staff were very nice always on hand to help.great location.would stay here again if we are ever in chiang mai again.
Beds were not so comfortable, rooms were quite small, the bathroom and shower moldy. All in all not the best value for money in Thailand / Chiang Mai area so far.
Pool, reception area and location a clear plus. We stayed only one night, therefore we didn't have the time to explore much more in this hotel.
Wifi sometimes not working, pool with limited relxing area (no sun in the afternoon)
Located in old city square close to shops, market, restaurant. Small pool for refreshment after city tour. Very helpful staff for booking tours (without the feeling to be steered towards "specific" offers)
The room service is inefficient, wait till almost 5 pm for the room to be cleaned, and the cleaning took no more than 15 min. It could be done earlier.
The reception is very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, not far from everything. And the room is quiet with a nice view of the swimming pool.
Internet was a little slow at times.
Excellent location, friendly staff and clean facilities. Rooms were spacious, good supply of hot water both day and night, and comfy room. I thoroughly recommend this place if you are travelling to Chiangmai. The staff were very helpful on organising my day trips and laundry. Pool was beautiful too!
Wifi was a bit hit and miss in room.
Great staff & location.
Weak wifi Not enough pool side seats Room cleaning at late afterroom
Good location Clean & bright room just as we asked
Wifi in upper corner room not very strong. - but there is a free pc next to the reception - you are only charged for prints.
Very friendly and helpfull, good atmosphere. Clean, nice and quite. feels like home. Very reasonable prices
The standard rooms. So disgusting. They really need to remodel at least the bathrooms in these standard rooms. They make the hotel look bad. I was appalled.
Do not book a standard room here. They are disgusting. The bathroom looked like it belonged in a dirty gas station. The standard room is depressing like a jail cell. The deluxe rooms, however, are on the other side of the pool and are lovely. It's like a different hotel entirely. Beautiful wood floors, French doors onto lovely balconies, updated bathrooms, clean, nice. The women at the front desk were so incredible. They helped with anything we needed... taxis, booking tours, directions, etc as though it were a 5-star resort. The prices here are very inexpensive. The location is great, walking distance to all of the sites, and a quick 60 Bhat tuk-tuk ride from the night market. This place is great. I would recommend it as long as you chose a deluxe room.
They sold an excursion to doi inthanon at 4000 bht for two people just because we had no time and we booked in advance from italy... The others bought the same at 3000 bht. After that we don't trust them anymore and we don't ask them anything else (info or taxi..). Just one shower foam.
Bicycle at 50 bht per day. Luggage room. Good position.
There is nothing at all to complain about. Every time we go to Chiang Mai which is generally every couple of years we will stay at Sripat!!
We love everything about Sripat. Have stayed here about 5 times on various visits. This was our first visit since the new changes. Absolutely loved our deluxe room. The little deck was perfect. Don't use pools but it was nice to sit down there and read a book when we took a day off from touring. The staff are wonderful - very friendly and always ready to help with anything. Breakfasts were great although we did take advantage of many other eating spots in the area too. And the location is perfect. Loads of restaurants in the area, laundry and massage just down the street. We generally walk everywhere in Chiang Mai but the old city is the best place to stay. We definitely noticed a significant change for the better in the cleanliness of Chiang Mai and the condition of the sidewalks.
Beds were comfortable Location was convenient to old town Good value for price
So clean Great location Swimming pool Power shower
Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great atmosphere!
It's not worth having the breakfast there, just go outside.
The position is excellent. The guesthouse is really nice and well maintained.
Breakfast is not included. The swimming pool was not great, and there is almost no direct sunshine at all. A bit expensive all in all.
The location is good, in the old town, in a nice area where the little streets are full of cool places to explore, and at the same time you're not far away from the rest. The rooms are spacious and clean, with good bathrooms a nice terrace and an amazing shower (we got a Deluxe room). The reception is very helpful, ask them for suggestions on things to do (they actually have a book with suggestions, but ask them for something else and they will help you out).
