I booked a run of house room but was upgraded to room with pool access. The room was spacious and well appointed, with nice small pool accessable from the balcony. Comfortable bed, nice and soft bathroom and beach towels, kettle in the room for complimentary tea and coffee. Good location (not on the beach, but on the hill really close to the Kata beach - 3 min. walk down the hill). The only thing that I did not like was that my room was not very clean and had a really bad and very strong smell of cleaning chemicals the first and second days of my stay. Also upon my check out I was wrongly accused of having broken one of the glasses provided in the room and was requested to pay for the glass. They should really check on the employees in their house keeping department as they not only do a sloppy work (not very clean rooms), but also try to cheat by wrongly accusing guests of damaging hotel's inventory.

The pool was lovely, and facilities very nice. Views were nice, and I felt like I received value for money. There were only 2 things that bothered me slightly. The room seemed slightly dirty, the floor was gritty and made my feet black (not good for before bed) and the bathroom sink was quite grimy. Also, the bar by the pool did not seem to be staffed at any point in time...

The location is perfect, a bit higher on the hill which gives you a nice view of Kata Beach. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel. Very pleasant swimming pool with several levels which makes you feel that you are alone there :) We did not like the fact that the elevators to take you down if you have one of the rooms up the hills are hard to find and the floor numbers inside them are very weirdly indicated... Don't press 4 if you want to go to 4th floor but press 7... So until now I still don't really understand it...

the hotel was on a steep hill and thus wouldnt recommend to elderly or people with children. Being an architect myself i felt the plan of the hotel was a bit weird. with long walks in between areas, way finding was a bit difficult. we had to change 2 elevators and even then walk for 10 minutes to get to our rooms. We booked a sea view room which wasn't sea view at all. there was a huge building in front of our room and could only see part of the sea! i felt only the pool access rooms would be worth splashing money on. otherwise didnt feel the hotel was good enough

Hotel is modern. Rooms are well designed and big. 1. Service. We have booked twin room. When we came there were no this room typr available. They proposed us double room. We refused (2 straight men :)). After a long conversation they started to proposed us solutions. We have seen 3 (three) different rooms. All of them were bad situated. They proposed free upgrade only after this long long story. 2. The Hotel and rooms are little bit "tired". 3. Expensive and poor breakfast. You can get better and cheaper one in cafe in front. 4. Too expensive for this quality. We paid 4000 THB per night in Jan. 2011

The location was very close to Kata beach. The room was quite big with a balcony having pool view and limited sea view. Our room was away from the reception and breakfast room and we had to change two elevators and walk a little bit to reach the room.

Very nice view and location. Big rooms. Only moment is that you need to go up to the hill. Be note that for old people it can be an issue.

I enjoyed the thoughtful layout and design with great access to Kata Beach, shopping and dining. The cost is very reasonable, proving to be incredible value for money. The Grand Pool Access rooms are spacious with attention to detail including a mini Mac for Internet usage and of course your own pool overlooking kata beach itself. I note that many people use this area to speak about the steep climb. For me this was not a problem and in fact I enjoyed the exercise that this provided.

It looks like a 4 star hotel It might look like a 4 star hotel but actually it doesn't qualify for it at all!!! We called the reception 3 times in the evening because there was no hot water in our room, but after 2 hours of waiting nobody came to have a check...The receptionist was even mocking at us in our last call. We will never ever recommand this hotel to anyone!!! Don't choose this one because with the same amount of money you can have plenty of other choices!!!

The pool outside the room, the vista looking directly into the hills. Flowing water. The room layout and equipment. Quiet(ish) and relaxing ambience. Gardens The internet was temperamental. The finishing off of some parts of the buildings were poor. The complicated lift accesses.

It was very affordable, modern accommodation. Having direct pool access off our rooms was fantastic and being able to have two rooms side by side where we could access both rooms from our pool entrances was also great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having free internet access was also useful. The location was ideal, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. At a quick glance the accommodation appeared very modern, at closer inspection it actually appeared unfinished or poorly finished. Alot of the room fixtures were poorly attached, faulty or broken. Although breakfast is offered until 10.30, we found that if we arrived to eat much after 9am the food was limited and often not replaced as it ran out. The outside area between the lobby and the lifts was extremely slippery when wet.

The design and the landscape of the hotel are really attractive and trendy. We booked pool-view rooms, which are really cozy and huge=) The swimming pools, sauna room, steam room etc etc made our stay wonderful. This hotel is built on a hillside, so it's near to nature, which is a good runaway from the city hectic. Our rooms were in upper floor, we did enjoy the walk from the lobby up to our rooms, but sometimes it's quite troublesome and inconvenient for our grandma. The hotel location was great, being near to flee market, shops, 7-11, restaurants, cafe, massage and of course the beach, all within walking distance. I think those who wants to avoid trouble should ask the hotel to assign you with rooms near to the lobby, but for those who don't mind to walk and who wants to get near to nature should book for the upper floor which has perfect nice view. I would like to suggest the hotel to build some shelter along the slope heading to those rooms on the upper floor, as the slope would get slippery and your customers would get wet if it rains.

The distance to Kata Beach and the Bus to Phuket town is less than 4 min away. The pools were nice to be in as they overlook the Kata Town, mainly like the idea of pool access. The pillows smells funny, but I think I could have gotten it changed. Most of the food there is only in cafe and restaurants, no roadside stalls or local cheap eats, making 7 eleven and their susages the cheapest quick bites in the area. Items and food relatively more expensive than patong or phuket by 100%. The climb up the hill to the hotel after every beach visit was a bearable inconvinience
