Sugar Palm Grand, Hillside

This was our second stay at the hotel, last year it had just opened. We loved it again. Jacuzzi bath on balcony definately worth the extra. Rooms large with flat screen tv and dvd recorder. Lovely bathroom and enormous fridge. Hotel has now improved on breakfast and the sauna room will soon be completed. Would stay yet again.

It's a beautiful hotel with a good location. Everithing is wery clean and comfortable. Our room was 1707 on 7th floor. It's true that the elevator serve only between the 3-9th floor. But now beeing built the second one the ground and a 4th floor. Now you must walk up on a stairs or wait for a golfcar. We walked up to the 4th floor and after the elevator. It was not too hard. The hotel is beautiful. Wery clean and modern. The rooms are spacious. The baathroom is wery clean and you can also have a bathtub and shower. It's a superb hotel, I can prefer to eweryone. It was better than I expect. The secon elevator will be finised aprox. 2 months.

very nice hotel. we took a pool access room and that was awesome. great location, view and peaceful. service and frendliness is okay, not great but good enough.

the rooms are up the hill and you will have to climb them once in a while. They do have golf carts but sometimes they are busy. that is the only negative.

It has a fantastic view of kata beach and city and is really close to the busy part of the beach. The room is simple but modern (so is the swimming pool) and the hotel overall is relatively new and clean.

Very tiring to go up the hill specially at night when club cars are not available and you are really tired after a long day.

I loved the pool and how you could walk out your balcony and get straight into the water. I also loved the design of the rooms

It was a bit of a trek to get to our room as there is no lift - we were staying way up at the top but the guys at reception were very good giving us a lift - i understand there will be a lift soon which would be good!No restaurant either for evening meals but food across the road in The Orchid restaurant i think it was called was very good and there are plenty of restaurants around

The rooms were fantastic. the Grand Jacuzzi Deluxe room was very spacious and the jacuzzi bathtub placed in the balcony was awesome. It's like having a soak in the open air.

The pictures posted pertaining to this hotel does not do it justice. The pictures should be improvised to reflect what customers would get. I did not think much of this hotel prior to the trip, but when i was there, i was very impressed with the Grand Jacuzzi Deluxe room.

the hotel was very fair, the reasonable mini bar prices, large bath, plush design, all helped to create a warm relaxing atmosphere.

A later breakfast window would have been nice - maybe until 11am.

The only attraction is the pool.

The airconditioner was as noisy as the tractor, constraction work during the day didn't stop for a second, the jacuzzy didn't work, breakfast was awful!!

Definitely, will stay in this hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

brand new hotel (opened in beggining of 2009) well-designed in minimalizm style, good view, free internet, the price was unbelievably low, rooms with direct access to pools, 8 levels of enlighted pools

still under construstion - sauna/steam is being built, no spa at the hotel, hilly location asks for patience when you wait for drivers who drives you up on a hill (guys are quite lazy)

I liked the design of the room and the decor. I also liked the optioned offered in relation comfort i.e. Jacuzzi and swimming pool easy access.

I was amazed that the jacuzzi facilities is outside the apartment, where anyone in the public can see a guest take a jacuzzi bath!
