Sugar Palm Grand, Hillside

This hotel is just great for the price it charges... it is located in a hill just beside Kata beach, providing easy access to the seashore. A wonderful tasteful breakfast, including both Thai and international dishes, is served every morning. The majority of the rooms allow astonishing views of Kata beach. The pools are also a must.

Well, nearly everything was Ok in this hotel. However, because of its location in a hill, it may impose some difficulty for the elderly and disabled people to get to the rooms. Nonetheless, they have some golf-like cars that may help guests get to the rooms if they want.

O estilo do seu design foi o que mais me cativou.....e a promoção que apanhei também ajudou.E naõ me enganei!Adorei o Hotel,o tamanho do quarto, da casa de banho,bom equipamento.5 Estrelas.O Restaurante em frente ao hotel (Orchid) é também muito bom e barato, comparado com os preços praticados na rua principal da praia Kata.

O pessoal devia de ter mais conhecimentos de Inglês.Notava-se nitidamente que por vezes não nos entendiam.Um 4 estrelas deve ter pessoal mais especializado.O facto de ter muitos degraus pode tornar-se complicado para quem tem dificuldades de locomução,mas há sempre um cariinho de golfe para nos transportar até ao elevador mais próximo.

It was a bit of a trek to get to our room as there is no lift - we were staying way up at the top but the guys at reception were very good giving us a lift - i understand there will be a lift soon which would be good!No restaurant either for evening meals but food across the road in The Orchid restaurant i think it was called was very good and there are plenty of restaurants around

the hotel was very fair, the reasonable mini bar prices, large bath, plush design, all helped to create a warm relaxing atmosphere.

A later breakfast window would have been nice - maybe until 11am.

The only attraction is the pool.

The airconditioner was as noisy as the tractor, constraction work during the day didn't stop for a second, the jacuzzy didn't work, breakfast was awful!!

Definitely, will stay in this hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

brand new hotel (opened in beggining of 2009) well-designed in minimalizm style, good view, free internet, the price was unbelievably low, rooms with direct access to pools, 8 levels of enlighted pools

still under construstion - sauna/steam is being built, no spa at the hotel, hilly location asks for patience when you wait for drivers who drives you up on a hill (guys are quite lazy)

I liked the design of the room and the decor. I also liked the optioned offered in relation comfort i.e. Jacuzzi and swimming pool easy access.

I was amazed that the jacuzzi facilities is outside the apartment, where anyone in the public can see a guest take a jacuzzi bath!

I paid only 990 Baht per Night for a Hotel Room that was easily worth 150.- USD or more.

It is a very nice hotel, worth every BTH. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. You can enjoy your holliday.

The rooms were exactly what the pictures on the website were. No hidden angles! The room was fantastic by itself with a bathtub in the Grand Pool View. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I'll be going Phuket definitely again and will choose this hotel again! hopefully for a good offer price.
