Very nice hotel on (off) the typical Bangkok str. Nice lobby with free tea and a cake. Absolutely lovely, the most helpful staff I have ever met!! They even help you to catch taxi on the street! Scheduled free ride by tuc tuc to Grand Palace and Khaosan Rd.! Nice rooms with AC and free safety box... and bathrooms with hair drier... Hotel doesn`t have breakfast room but few steeps away is small, lovely restaurant providing breakfast for hotel guests with possibility of 10 choices. (Nice breakfast but wouldn`t recommend for dinner for thai meal lovers)

There was absolutely nothing to didn`t like about this hotel!

5 minutes from koasan road, checked in after midnight and no problem, free coffee, tea, use of computers in lobby area, front desk staff very helpful and efficient

The rooms are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the location is very convenient.

When I was there some Chinese guests were extremely noisyt. At the first two night I could not sleep before 4am. However, it is hardly the fault of the staff. They explained to me that they usually try to separate Chinese from westerners as the former tend to make a lot of noise while the latter freak out because of that. This time they were full though, had no possibility to put me closer to Europeans.

Fabulous hotel with exceptionally helpful staff, was the perfect location, not too far away or too close to the chaos of koh San road. Exceptionally clean, and I would recommend to all!

Wifi was a bit tempramental

Amazing staff and services. Tuk Tuk or car to the grand palace and wat pho are several times a day, free of charge for guests. Always welcome with a smile and helpful assistance. We were allowed to check in 4 hours early without hesitation. We stayed there for one night before heading on a 20 day trip throughout Thailand and Cambodia, and when we had a 9 hour layover in bangkok before our trip back to the states, we thought we'd store our luggage at Tara's place (having seen it advertised at 10 Baht per item before we left). The entire staff remembered us, and allowed us to store it free of charge!! After one night at the place 3 weeks prior (cannot guarantee they'd do this for everyone)! What a place, only positives. 10/10

It's clean, the receptions are nice, have the serivce to book the taxi for guest in a fair price. Even sometime drive for free to close sights.

Live near the road, really lound noisy. Spell not good in the room, probably due to the new furniture.

Tara place is great value for money. The rooms have a modern design. The hotel offers complimentary snacks at reception, aswell as free a free water machine. Tara place is a 5/10 minute walk from Koh San road, it is in an ideal location

The travel agent that we were recommended to by Tara place claimed the trim to our ext destination was fully booked. We walked 30 seconds down the street to the next travel agent only to find that this was not the case and the train wasn't fully booked.

The double room is spacious and bed very comfortable. En-suite was ideal, good shower after a day in the heat. Rooms were cleaned every day. The staff on reception were always courteous, happy and smiling. They make your stay a great experience with their helpfulness. Definitely would stay there again.

I like stay in here.. all the staff Helpful.. nice bedroom, nice staff, near to go khaosan rd only 10 minutes walk and free servis tuk tuk go to grand palace, wat po and wat arum, and go to MBK only 70 bath by taxi and from suvarnabumi airport only 400 bath,..

Wi-fi is not stable, but it's free and in the room. Don't get "special bus+ferry" to Samui or another island. It's gonna be more expensive and especially longer (17 hours) then bus trip from the city bus-station (unfortunately we had no time to but tickets there). On the other side you choose better way for yourself

A lovely hotel - clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a tour office conveniently located next to the hotel and the agent is wonderful. Many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, including a Seven Eleven. If I return to Bangkok, I will not hesitate to stay here again.

I is a beautiful place to stay in Bangkok it`s brand new everything in order. Great staff greal location I will stay here next time. And I am picky with hotels:)

Staff were very friendly. Hotel tuk-tuk to go to Grand Palace & Khaosan road. As our trip was during water festival the staff gave my boyfriend a water gun on loan for the duration of our stay.

Had to log into wifi Everytime you re-enter the building, ensure you keep the login details they give you at check in. In room 412 the shower door does not close properly.

The help from the staff was excellent. They really had the customers best interests at heart. So helpful!!

The staff were very helpful. Also when we exited which is normally when one gets ignored. Free tuk-tuk service at certain times to Khaosan Road. If you miss that it is just 10 mins walk.

The hotel was super close to Khao Sarn Road, the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Po. Also quite close to Chinatown and a 60thb cab ride to the Hualamphong Train Station. The staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. There are plenty of eating, drinking and nightlife options once you walk to Khao Sarn (about 10 minutes) and they have a free Tuktuk drop off to some of the more popular sites six times a day. My room was clean, comfortable and of reasonably good size. The room also had a safe for storing valuables. Excellent value for money.

This isn't a huge negative but the hotel is away from both bts and mrt lines and is really hard to get to during the day, when bkk traffic is nasty. There is a workaround, you can take the water taxi around the Old Bangkok island.

there is no metro, and hard to call a taxi in Bangkok, which causes problem to go to the downtown.
