People at hotel were very friendly There were several things which I did not like about the hotel, the first and the most important was that I paid them double. As they have deducted the amount from my credit card and I was surprised when doing check out the lady of the recipient asking me to pay again by cash while they have taken complete amount from my credit card, I have shown them bank statement clearly showing the amount been taken by Thara Patong Beach Resort and no use. Finally I was forced to pay by cash. After sending some emails they have confirmed that the amount been taken by them from my credit card and they promised to return the money back to my credit card which never happened Second Toilet has window on the room which mean all toilet smell spread on the room

location is good and near the most interest places, the size of the room is acceptable, the swimming pool is nice too. breakfast variety is not that good, no free wirless, but it is still cheap, price is little bit high.

Good location, clean room, clean bathroom.....nothing more, so...just an eu standard! Too expensive, not reasonable for provided facilities, breakfasts were so....bad that I eat in the small bar 50 meteres outside the tp hotel having payed tp breakfasts!

It was the only hotel available for our 9 day stay. Rooms have been renovated and apear as nice and clean. The garden make's it quiet and not disturbed by all the noise from outside streets. The staff is not friendly and smiling as one should expect in 'the land of smiles'. Breakfast is basic and understaffed with cleaning staff to set tables. Beds are hard and not comfy. This is a 'russian resort' with lots of loud russians that can often be seen drunk at mid day around the pool. Tara Patong can not be called a 4 star resort

Good pool setup, and great location 3 mins from the beach. Resonable size rooms, clean and comfy. Even the relatively hard bed seemed fine to sleep on. Bar fridge prices were also sensible. Room prices are ok off season and ok value for money but gets redicoulous in peak seaons.... Just pick your travel times Dont go at peak times... Too expensive for what you get.

The location is superb for the price...very near to beach, other activities.The rooms were very clean, comfortable for family with small children. The pool is quite good. The breakfast spread can improve but for the price we paid - it's alright. The f&b staff should speak more English if you want to be competitive.

The pool was great and especially for children. The rooms were quite large and comfortable. The hotel staff, especially the breakfast dining room staff were not as friendly as the first hotel we stayed in. Housekeeping were slow to deliver towels etc for the extra person staying in our room.

The staff are very friendly and smile all the time.and good location for shopping. The food is great. I would recomemd this hotel to all my friends, who would visit Phuket. I have a wonderful stay at this hotel.

This hotel has a beautiful pool! Good breakfast, good location and the rooms were spacious and clean. Charging for WiFi is tacky at such a nice hotel. Not only did we have to pay, but the reception of the wifi was horrible. We ended up just going across the street to the Rayaburi Hotel and using their free wifi. Also, I wouldn't have put different kinds of water in the fridge. Some are free, some are charged for. Just put the free stuff in there for your guests.

facilities are excellent .. very clean rooms .. everything in clean ... very good location ( close to the sea and bangla road , yet far enough from the noise ) . Pool is amazing . breakfast is good . our stay was really very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay very much . we were even provided free lockers to put our luggage till our flight after we checked out . most staff don't speak English and the reception girls were VERY unfriendly at check in , but all our issues were solved appropriately by supervisors .

Its very well located It was terrible, bugs infested our bed and could not sleep at night. Staff said they cant do anything and were not very friendly. Not much value for our money, not recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great close to everything. The staff were wonderful nothing was aproblem for them. The pool was fantastic. We got upgraded to a Deluxe room on arrival. Already made our minds up that we will stay at this resort next year in Patong. Would recommend to friends.

Location was perfect for us in the middle of patong beach.We walked every where with ease. Fantastic staff,very friendly. Food was great and plentifull.The swimming pools were always clean Cant find fault with this resort for the money

The pool is quite big and kids friendly The over booking situation was not handled properly and I did not have a room to stay in. they just make shift two sigle bed beside some living room of maybe a family suite and put the beds together beside the kitchennette. i asked for alternative solution and the staff was rather rude and did not try to resolve the problem. manager was also off work not of any help. i am so disappointed with this hotel.

Great location in the centre of Patong. Well kept grounds and nice pool area. Friendly staff. Room's bathroom could have been cleaner especially shower area and woodwork. Breakfast dishes were repetative.

“My husband and I had the first 5 nights of our honeymoon here and loved it. The resort is gorgeous, not too big, and the staff are just delightful. Nothing was too much for them to do for us. Patong Beach is very close, just across the road really, and it's about a 5-10min walk (depends on your pace) to the bars of Bang-la Road but there are many shops and restaurants all around the area. We ate many times in the resort because the restaurant by the pool is so lovely and relaxing and the food is great, but of course you can eat at cheaper places outside of the resort (often plenty of street carts with food just over at the beach). We had a massage at Burasari, much more expensive than those elsewhere, but a very opulent and delightful experience and still cheaper by far than at home in Australia.
