Close to all the things you need but not too close quite and relaxing, night life a short walk so very easy to get too, only thing they need to fix is the internet most resorts now have free wi-fi but not at this place, beach very close. enjoyed and will stay again,

Location was perfect for us in the middle of patong beach.We walked every where with ease. Fantastic staff,very friendly. Food was great and plentifull.The swimming pools were always clean Cant find fault with this resort for the money

The pool was great and especially for children. The rooms were quite large and comfortable.

The hotel staff, especially the breakfast dining room staff were not as friendly as the first hotel we stayed in. Housekeeping were slow to deliver towels etc for the extra person staying in our room.

All staff from management down to housemaid and security guards were friendly,discreet and very helpfull.The breakfast choise was great and plentyfull.

The location was everything I wanted.Within walking distance to all nightlife and 200 bht will get you any where around Patong.The pool areas are magnificent to relax and people from all parts of the world were friendly.The hotel gardens are superb and I found it very quiet and peacefull.

swimming pool and the premier room is very good. the premier room has window screen and door screen, which is very very good.

if you want to see the sea from hotel's room. then don't choose this hotel.

location is good and near the most interest places, the size of the room is acceptable, the swimming pool is nice too.

breakfast variety is not that good, no free wirless, but it is still cheap, price is little bit high.

Service was poor and staff was unfriendly

It was the only hotel available for our 9 day stay. Rooms have been renovated and apear as nice and clean. The garden make's it quiet and not disturbed by all the noise from outside streets.

The staff is not friendly and smiling as one should expect in 'the land of smiles'. Breakfast is basic and understaffed with cleaning staff to set tables. Beds are hard and not comfy. This is a 'russian resort' with lots of loud russians that can often be seen drunk at mid day around the pool. Tara Patong can not be called a 4 star resort

Good pool setup, and great location 3 mins from the beach. Resonable size rooms, clean and comfy. Even the relatively hard bed seemed fine to sleep on. Bar fridge prices were also sensible. Room prices are ok off season and ok value for money but gets redicoulous in peak seaons.... Just pick your travel times

Dont go at peak times... Too expensive for what you get.

The service when things was wrong with the rooms was poor, also with all package tours there it was unpleasant at breakfast time, very difficult to get sunbeds at poolside since many placed towels there with using the beds. Pictures of hotel is not relevant for real impression

The location was good, rooms were nice

We found one particular staff member (woman) at the Pool Bar very rude, she offended x3 people from our group of 6 with her rudeness, It cant just have been a bad day...........as we all encountered her and on different days.

facilities are excellent .. very clean rooms .. everything in clean ... very good location ( close to the sea and bangla road , yet far enough from the noise ) . Pool is amazing . breakfast is good . our stay was really very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay very much . we were even provided free lockers to put our luggage till our flight after we checked out .

most staff don't speak English and the reception girls were VERY unfriendly at check in , but all our issues were solved appropriately by supervisors .

Thara Patong resort has a great location with well kept gardens and beautuful rooms. An oasis in the heart of busy Patong beach. Once you've had enough of the hustle and bustle you can relax by the quiet pool area and have a massage. Reliable airport pick up and great internet facilities.
