The staff is great, always willing to help customers in everything if you need! Very clean hotel, the location is excellent nearby good night life and markets.

Reserved a super deluxe room but didn't get it, had a normal room for 4 nights instead. However, had the price difference refunded, so never mind.

Before making the reservation I read the feedbacks and assumed we would be well wellcome and it was the case. Age and ambience match very well. Owners help and do all to defend the guests and I could confirm that with their commitment and seriousness. Obviously no doubts to recommend the britannia Guest House. Thanks

It is not in the centre of old town chiang mai but it is in an interesting corner with a moderate night life.

English history lessons taught that britannia ruled the waves but the manager's rules were overbearing to save a penny or a baht.

The onwers are very friendly. The location is good and the room is very clean. The price is also very reasonable. There're many restaurants around.

We booked some travelling schedules from this hostel but other hostels or travelling agencies may actually have lower price. So maybe you can compare the prices between agencies.

Everything. The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are exquisite. Very comfortable, very clean, beautiful place. Placed within the walking distance of all major must-see places. I recommend it to anyone who goes to Chiang Mai.

The hotel is very reasonable price and the owners are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. They help organise great tours that exceeded expectations. Rooms are comfortable and very clean and location is good.

Nothing, it was a great place to stay.

It's a good place to stay neat n clean and everything is nearby. The hosts are nice n helpful. It's best to book trips through the hosts, they got me the best deals. The locality is residential hence quite n relaxed. seven eleven n many other shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. It's a good place to stay. You get what you pay for. It's a budget stay don't expect luxury.

it doesn't have elevator so one has to carry over sized lagguages till the third floor. The host helped with that too. I enjoyed my stay.

Room was cleaned every day, overall nice and clean, free use of computer and wifi, friendly and helpful owners, located near the main gate.

Owners run a tight ship at this budget hotel.   Prices are very reasonable and a deposit is requested through PayPal before you arrive.  You must turn off the a/c when you leave for the day or there will be a small charge.  Hotel provides laundry service at a fair price.

Wifi was a problem.  Though free, I was unable to connect in my room, or when I stood immediately underneath the router on the 2nd floor.  The owner even restarted the modem to no avail.   Mosquitoes were abundant downstairs, and natural repellant was sold at the front desk.  This is a problem almost everywhere in the city.  Amazingly, citronella kept the mosquitoes from the guest rooms. Only hotel I stayed at that did not provide water.  Maybe this was an oversight.  Shower head adjacent to toilet and there is no curtain. Bottom line:  decent budget hotel, but I would not stay here again, since wifi is important to me.

The friendliness of the owners and the information they gave out in assisting with our short stay in Chiang Mia was first class. A highly recommended hotel for one who is looking for first class customer service.

Extremely helpful and friendly people welcome you to this great hostel. Location is also an asset, surrounded by bars and restaurants, right in the old town. Definitely recommended!!!
