I liked the pool villa for the space, it was much better than staying in a hotel room. It was comfortable to stay in The A/c was not working properly, the technician who came to fix it didn't do much, it would have been nice if there was a fan out on the veranda, no ironing board or iron provided. Breakfast was very poor for vegetarians.

Peter, Pu, Noi and Kum at the beach bar were amazing, they made our honeymoon memorable! Srivijaya beachfront pool villas are breathtaking, loved every single moment! Oh, the arkbar is a walking distance away on the beach, great place to experience Samui's night life! Alot of mosquitoes, be sure to spray your room with insecticide and keep doors closed at all times! Hotel furniture a bit too old but still, great place to stay!

I loved staying here..... fantastic staff, very helpful, hard working and friendly. Lovely beach to walk along into main strip/town centre (8-10min) Great room space, plunge pool, 3 pool areas (one being toddler pool so ideal for the little ones) Mosquitos - hate them..... Lots of them but then again they are every where and anywhere so pack your fly spray and aeroguard....

The sea view rooms are awesome. The location is very Gud. We were never able to get hot water in the morning. They should have more club cars. Too many mosquitoes.... I arrived at 8.30 in the morning but I ws able to get into my room only at 3 because they said they didn't have ny rooms available whereas they could've easily accommodated us in some other room for the time being... At least to freshen up. During my checkout they said they were gonna charge me 200thb for a stupid laundry bag. Which star hotel saves and preserves their laundry bags????Even the carpet slippers and rubber slippers were not new when we checked in and the tub ws stinking. The breakfast buffet is one of the worst I've had. They even repeat the same stuff everyday. The only thing Gud about the hotel in the view and proximity to the beach and city center.

The design of the hotel Very bad service. Especially it's the manager of the hotel, very rude. The worst service I've met during my 5 years booking experience over 10 countries. Definitely not valuable for the money. I think that's the biggest reason why this hotel only get 7.7

The staff is extremely considerate. I asked for 3 pin charge plug at 2am expecting they would say no but the staff came in 1.5 minutes with an extra plug. Unbelievable!! The room was very spacious & clean. The jacuzzi was clean & the pressure was optimum with Complete privacy. Breakfast was always served hot. Briza location is just 5 minutes away from the action area. I am planning to go to koh Samui again in this May. I will only stay in Briza in my same room no-208. Love it!!!

Proximity to beaches, shops.. Facilities if they were maintained better... Staff were pleasant but not organised!!!! In a 5 day stay, we had the room cleaned once and only when we asked! Room service plates were not removed for three days! On arrival the showers and sinks in the bathroom had mould in the corners! The private spa we had was lovely but not clean, grout falling out and green slime on grouting! We organised a late check out for 1pm, at 12pm(yes 1 hour before) they rang and told us we had to get out or be charged extra!

Absolutely huge room and own jet pool in the plunge pool villa - at nearly 140m2 you can practically get lost in there. Good air con, huge bathroom with bath recessed below floor level, outside day bed on private balcony and all the little thing like robes, slippers, soaps, bath gels etc to make you feel regal. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk to dining on the sand 2 metres from the waters edge at reasonable prices. Room was cleaned well as was jet pool and outside lounge area. Will definitely stay there again. Ran out of hot water daily and had to call reception each time to have it boosted. Bed was a bit hard and pillows a bit soft. That's the worst of it.

Well it was one of the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen and stayed. There was total privacy ; nice swimming pool in the room and my wife really enjoyed the private pool. Good location very close to main city life. Beach literally don't exist; very small and secondly sea water covers the whole small beach in the morning. Breakfast should be improved.

The beach front villa is nice but all other rooms are bad. Service is very poor. I have not seen more rude staff. They will ask you to pay full money for all nights advance, else they will threaten you. On first day their staff entered our room and 400 usd was stolen from our bag. When we came back to the room, we saw all our bags open and on the floor. When we complained to hotel staff, they were very uncooperative and said they cannot do anything. And on top of that they were rude to us. Overall, apart from this also I have not seen more rude staff in 20 years of traveling around the world. Their house keeping will come to clean the room and they will not clean and you have to stand on their head to get room cleaned. They do not clean their swimming pool unless you fight with them. Except 3 beach front villas, none of the villas are even beach facing (they say on website but it is all a lie, they say beach facing does not mean beach view). They do not list the beach front villa on the website and use it as a means to get more money from you (they keep marketing to you - "upgrade for 5000 baht per night"). All in all worst customer service and most rude staff (my tolerance levels are pretty high and I know if I am rude staff will be rude, but these guys are rude without a reason and never ready to listen). We had to pay all money advance and they refuse to refund if we want to leave hotel and it is not at all safe hotel (we lost 200 usd each from 2 of our rooms). After 11 pm they switch even path way dim lights of the hotel so it is impossible to walk to your room also. Would not recommend to anyone.

Beach access Quite pist off with the staff during check in. Initially ask for 1000Baht extra per day as I have a 10 years old boy. However told the staff that when i did the booking its stated that child below 12 years stays for free. After the staff make a check she confirmed that child below 12 years stays for free. However she informed that no extra mattress or pillows will be given. She than requested for payment for my child breakfast amounting about 350Baht per day. As such i was requested to pay in advance of about 1400Baht. I than informed her that what if my son is not having his breakfast in the Hotel. No reason for me to pay. The staff insist and informed that its automatic. I than paid the amount requested as I just getting irritated by the staff. On the day of check out, the staff keep calling our room and enquire if we are ready to check out. Told them will do so before the required time. 20 mins before the required time, the staff called our room again. We refused to answer but they keep calling and as it was irritating we got no choice but to answer. Told the staff that I will check out before the required time. I just find it irritating and furthermore most of the rooms in the hotel were empty.

The service is not good. The hotel need more person to offer a good servie. 3. The breakfast is bad ! Noting good to eat ! No service ! 4. The swiming pool is so far from the beach.

It was quiet, spacious and private. The wi fi worked reasonably well, but occasionally lost its signal. however, this is common all over the island. There is parking and you are close to the airport, but not that close to be disturbed by it. You can, when its cool, walk into Chawengi at night and back if you are fit enough within about 15 to twenty minutes to centre. This will save you some money on the most ridiculously priced taxis in the whole of Thailand. The Villa itself was some distance from the main entrance. I quite happily walked the service route to the main road rather than having to wait for the shuttle buggy, only to be rebuked by a member of the front desk staff. This I ignored on the most part as to rely on the buggy could waste much time as I only came across one in a large resort during my stay. I had very little interaction with the staff. I have stayed on the island several times and this was the least interaction I have experienced, although I tried. the spoken english was not as good as other resorts and i found this strange as other resorts the staff were extremely friendly and interactive. The catering was not as good as the other resorts I had stayed. this for me was only breakfast that I eventually started to miss on most mornings and ate off site. The room was clean and tidy but some of the fittings, particularly the main and bathroom door could do with replacing as the ability to keep humidity and mosquitoes out was below par in comparison to other resorts. During the hot humid season it would not hurt for the complex to invest in better outdoor cooling fan systems. However, there is no respite when the power cuts kick in and everything shuts down. maybe backup generators like many other complexes on the island. Fundamentally this is spacious accommodation that is only let down by small things that could easily be improved. As I know the Island well I will probably not stay here again, knowing other choices that were booked at the time of my late booking that thankfully the Briza was accommodating. I had a distinct feeling that some of the staff were not happy within their work, which is not that good in the hospitality and service trade. Hence their attitude in some part was that of delivering the minimum. This is a managerial responsibility not the front line staff as quite clearly more than some but not necessarily most seemed that happy with their lot.
