slow wifi & breakfast lack of choices
Great service from your staff..

the main bathroom is kind of outside, so a lot of Mosquitos when showering/toilet. The aircon was not to be turned down too low or it would break we were told, so the room never felt very cool & took a while to cool down when you put the key in the electricity box. The main pool area was advertised as having a pool bar, however the bar was full of plants and no drinks to be seen :(
We were lucky enough to score a plunge pool villa with a little bit of a sea view. Walking into the gate our jaws dropped- it was much bigger than expected based on the pictures on here. Lounge area was lovely, bed was comfy, and having a second toilet outside came in handy! Was around 20 min walk into main shopping area of Chaweng. Breakfast was great, and staff were very friendly and helpful

Some rooms need a bit refurbishment
Very nice room and bathroom, the outdoor patio with pool gives lots of private space to relax even on rainy days. Stuff is very helpful.

Sometimes there weren't any staff manning the bar servicing the beach lounges. It was a pain to order a drink or food. There are lots of mosquitoes about too which was annoying but tolerable.
Staff were excellent. Ken in particular made us feel very welcome. The location is great. Away from most of the noise, but very close to lovely beach dining.

Air con in my pool room was just that just... More to do with design, staff had a habit of pulling all curtins when cleaning so when we got back the room was a furnace and with one obvious outlet in the room and such high ceilings well do I need to say more? Cleaning staff not well stocked with coffee and creamer as well as normal tea bags, began hording and lock in safe if we had over and hopefully restocked ummmmm sometimes. In the end no big deal but Koh Samui was a let down certainly if you want a beach holiday come to Australia our worst beached kill anything I've seen in Asia to date.
Very attractive surroundings breakfast was always a good experience reception most helpful.

Aggressive birds landing around our villa all day. The dining chair legs were broken and the rail around the plunge pool was dangerously loose
The architecture was amazing. Loved the whole feel of the resort. Being right on the gorgeous beach was fantastic

Transport around hotel
Ken pr was great room was good price was little expensive for what it was
April 13, 2015
Breakfast was very basic for one thing only choice of 3 fruits in a morning come on this is Thailand should have been more choice, closer inspection of rooms found ours in need of a paint job and some refurbishment, also very hilly we had an upstairs room with two flights of stairs plus a fifty foot slop to get from restaurant to room at our age some consideration should have been made
Staff very friendly and helpful, food at restaurant very nice, room and beds were cleaned every day and plenty of space, very peaceful and private rooms

Mosquito (but this could be understand), and balcony sofa cleanliness. Switch for light was not group in together, need keep "searching" for the button And long uphill way to reach main road.
Beachfront, excellent view and size of private pool.

Our room was cleaned once in 7 nights. Bed sheets only changed once in 7 days even though I asked again. I had to ask everyday for our tea and coffee to be topped up in the room, and. Was then told it's not their job and to go get it from the restaurant. The pool in the room was dirty asked for it to be cleaned twice. I was lucky I was travelling with a thai/English friend who spoke fluent thai, as most of the staff ant understand a single word of English.
The rooms were a great size and the beach was lovely

only the view and beach
March 27, 2015
The restaurant is just average and could be improved by providing more options or reducing the price.
Rooms are really spacious and the private Jacuzzi is really a plus when it's so hot you can't even go the beach.
March 24, 2015
Make sure you pack insect repellent as lots of outdoor living. Plunge pool very cold. We travelled in off-season (March) so some facilities (i.e. Swim-up bar) not open.
Friendly staff, room and facilities clean and well-maintained, breakfast tasty, resort right on beachfront - good swimming.
March 23, 2015
Some of the staff could smile more. Toiletries could be replenished more. Meals and drinks a little expensive. Some areas need a little maintainance.
Right on the beach. Plenty of beds on the beach with full sun or shade. The lady at the egg station always greeted you with a smile and a good morning. The rooms are big.

Excellent stay no complaints just beautiful
March 15, 2015
The staff were extremely rude. I asked them to book a ferry ticket for the day after my arrival and was told to do it myself. This was not the only issue around rudeness but did stand out. The place was so noisy it was hard to sleep. And the toilets were so dirty they were unhygienic.
Quick trip to get to the boat
March 12, 2015
the friendly staff and location as it was not in the busy place but also not far off

The room is so big and with some Mosquitos, and the swimming pool is also having some tree leaves but these leaves canbe accepted. Hotel is a little bit far from the downtown. What's the most important, chaweng beach is not as cleaning as one year ago, the wave is so dirty for me to get into the sea. Compare with Lamai, though the sand in Lamai is not good than Chaweng, but the sea is cleaner!
beautiful hotel ，breakfast is ok.it's very comfortable to sit at the living room enjoying the seaview and sea wind. Stuffs are pleasant to help you.

Best days of the resort are over; few flaws in the room (ripped bed curtains that couldn't work as mosquito net, old bleached-out beach towels with holes, dysfunctional bathroom door, dirty sink), uncomfortable bed (very hard) and mediocre breakfast (not at all 5*, especially poor coffee), plus "neutral" staff (neither super friendly nor well-informed - didn't know way to golf course etc.), plastic lounge chairs (no wood) at the beach and very basic gym wouldn't convince as high star facility. However, we booked a "great deal" and felt it was good value for money for a couple of days. Only. Dear owner, please do some makeover.
Setting and architecture of resort is beautiful; pool apt on second floor with huge outdoor area partly overlooking the coast was great for yoga, star watching etc., (yes, you need mosquito repellent like everywhere on the islands). Quiet end of Chaweng.

Don't get stung by cabs. 200bht is the most you should pay into town.
The location is amazing and the staff are wonderful. It's the best holiday we have ever had.
