Staff were fantastic from the moment I arrived till I left. A really special time that I had there. The location was great close to the riverside and anusan markets, night bazaar but away from all the loud noises of the city. Breakfast was interesting and you could order as much as you wanted, portions were small but you could order as many dishes as you wished. All staff were excellent, atmosphere was like being in a palace. Nothing

I liked the feeling of peace and serenity that one feels in the hotel. The water features in the hotel as well as the location on the Ping river re-enforce this feeling. I think the internet could be faster.

The most amazing hotel so far on our thailand trip. Definitely worthwhile staying in the club suite, with free mini bar, free cocktails and canapés 6-8pm. The pool and day bed area are beautiful. We recommend the wagyu minute steak breakfast. Great location near river and night bazaar.

The bed and the breakfast is fantastic and the room design is very nice. It is also very close to the night market. The balcony is too visable to the other rooms.

I have stayed at numerous resorts and hotels around the world with varying experiences. The stay at The Chedi is a stand-out one. There is something really well thought out about the offering. It is a relatively small hotel with a not too large site but the attention to detail is outstanding and the level of service exceptional. I am not usually one to hand out compliments easily but this place is really well run and with a unique vibe. The environment is delightful and the facilities stunning. It is a true boutique hotel exquisitely detailed. It is also very conveniently located. Some parts of the facade and rooms can do with a little polish, but really there was very little to complain about during my trip.

Well situated next to the river and close to the night bazaar and city centre. The staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean and tidy, amazing as it was flooded only a few weeks before, you couldn't tell. Nice selection for breakfast, generous hours. Once inside the hotel it was very quiet and tranquil, very relaxing. Taking nothing away from the staff, the spa was a little on the expensive side, the only reason I booked a massage was because there was a 'buy one get one free' offer. There seemed to be a constant trail of staff to my room, one to replace tea/coffee, one to clean/tidy, one to replace ice bucket, one to turn down, all starting at 9am, remember to put 'do not disturb' sign out if you want a lie in!

It was heaven on earth lovely room and facilities (I was in a top siute however) service was outstanding and the staff very freindly and always ready to assist and help you with any plans. We did a day trip of action packed elephant riding cycling and white water rafting which was amazing. It was such a nice hotel that we booked and stayed an extra night. Nothing bad to report at all

Service by the front office desk and room service was great. Very attentive and helpful with our requests for tourist information, car rentals, taxi bookings and even recommendations for places to have dinner. Rooms and corridors were too dark. Would have been better if lightings were a little brighter so that atmosphere is a little "livelier" yet romantic.

This is truly a wonderful hotel not to be missed in Chiang Mai. The inner courtyard and pool area are a completely relaxing sanctuary from the city. The breakfast was delicious and quite memorable with the terrific atmosphere of the building. The family and I have put the Chedi Chiang Mai at the very top of our list for best hotel stays. We will be back!

We were in the hotel during our honeymoon. The service was outstanding as well as the room (we were upgraded to a suite - courtesy of the hotel) and the rest of the hotel (swimming pool, breakfast, parking, internet connection, excellent coffee machine in the room,...). I spend my life in hotels ;-( and I would strongly recommend the Chedi Chiang Mai to everybody. Besides this, the design of the hotel is very nice and its location is excellent to explore the city. Excellent !!!

We only spent two nights in Chedi. It was one of the best hotel we have ever stayed. The staffs are very helpful. We can choose to have breakfast in bed without any extra charges. We will definitely go Chedi again!

“we came to this hotel after a relatively bad experience in another hotel in chiangmai. i decided to upgrade us a chose ratlanna because of the rating and pictures of the pool. The pool is rally great: huge and and has a really nice view. Rooms are excellent: very comfortable and large. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast: very good quality of the food but choice is relatively limited. I would definitely go back to this hotel in chiangmai” Thomas, Neuilly Sur Seine |
