The Continent Hotel Bangkok    

Bed was really comfortable, nicely designed rooms (especially the shower), great central location, 1 minute to the BTS station, walking distance to shops and bars, close to a great Yoga centre, rooftop pool gives great views, quiet room, quiet house-keeping, most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

One of the front reception staff was a bit frosty (I didn't even get a 'welcome to Bangkok'). They tried to overcharge me hugely for 2 pieces of laundry and didn't deliver within the express 4 hour time (but the management did fix it immediately after I complained). The pool was a bit dirty, could have been cleaner. They had an issue with the music being too loud or too quite at the pool area. Minor things though - I would still highly recommend and I will return for sure!

Room very small

A fire alarm was activated at 0650 hrs on 27/4/13r. Instead of checking on the site before activating, the entire hotel loud speaker was annoucing that a fire has started, making unnecessary panic oinly to realise later that some guests smoke in a non smoking room. Later tell us that we can go back to sleep.

Nice and modern. Good breakfast menu and location in 35 floor provide nice few.close to metro station. They have iron.

The staff were so friendly and the rooms are very clean. The hotel is close to all shopping malls and touristic destinations.

Couldn't find fault with the Continent Hotel, everything was 1st class.....thank you!

Hotels in Bangkok have generally very high standards. The Continent Hotel tries hard to reach these high standards. The hotel offers a real urban experience.

I think the decoration of the hotel does not really fit with European taste. The hotel tries so hard to look like a luxury hotel that it is almost too much with fake materials and a decoration over the top. Although the rest of the neighbourhood is very good, very insistent prostitutes stay night and day on the same street of the hotel, right in front of the main door. It is impossible to go back to the hotel at night without having to physically push away at least two or three too insistent ladies. The reception, the restaurant, the bar, everything gives you the impression to be in a very narrow building. Quite suffocating...

This hotel was one of the best hotel I've been in. Everything was good. Near everything, near the sky train, near shopping, massage etc. the staff was really kind and helpful. Real nice, clean and modern rooms and restaurants with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is right across the road from Terminal 21-a great Shopping Mall and sky train station. The beds are really comfy, the food in the Italian Restaraunt was delicious best Panacotta I've ever tasted!!!

The staff at the front desk were rude and acted like we were interrupting when we asked for basic information & directions about the area.. The pool is a lot smaller than the photos make out.. My partner and I both thought it was overpriced for what you get compared to the other hotels in the same area. Would not recommend or stay again.

I liked the location and also their B.F. and location of B.F. room.

I did not like the compactness of room by bangkok standard and also the luxury of room was not as per standrad of bangkok and price I have paid.

Views from breakfast on 35th floor. Nice design in the hotel and room, with very comfy bed and pillows! Friendly staff.

Entrance to the hotel isn´t very easy to find. As it´s a new hotel, not many people know it. They should make more signs, and replace the tacky banner that says the name of the hotel. The room wasn´t as clean as it should be. They hadn´t hoovered behind the door, was dusty in places, marks on draw & cupboard doors and mascara on mirror. Little things, but important for the quality of the hotel.

Great staff, fab central location next to skytrain and MTR. Nice choice for breakfast. Close to Tower 21 for shopping experience and restaurants. Stayed there 1 week earlier and the experience was the same. Keep it up.

Overall is very positive, clean and comfort while staying there and is very near the main shopping area and the nearest skytrain is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Location wise is good. The hotel is 4 months old so most of the things is new. Worthwhile!

The hotel internet wireless connection is slow.... The breakfast restaurant is small to fit most of the customers and the waiting queue is long.

Rooms a bit small, elevators are horrible sometimes waited for 5 minutes, pool bar not occupied by staff enough, pool should be open till late
