The Davis Bangkok sits along Sukhumvit Road Soi 24, about half a mile from Seafood Market and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It is about 12 miles from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. A refreshing workout can be enjoyed at the gym, which features a rooftop whirlpool and separate changing rooms for male and female guests. The hotel also provides a business center and a spa. It was stylishly designed with great facilities and not a huge price tag. When described and when looking at maps one thinks it is very close to the sky train when in fact it's quite a walk, which when we arrived in the evening we expected to walk 5 minutes with our suitcases but it's much more! Additionally there isn't free wifi - the cost isn't huge but on the rest of our trip in Thailand we had free wifi in all hotels.

Our stay at The Davies was fantastic. We stayed in the West Wing for 2 nights. The room was big and comfotable and we loved how it was set out. The staff are so helpful, with information on sight seeing and local things to do. We would stay here again on a return trip back to Bangkok

Comfortable, nice hotel. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. The traditional village type part is excellent. No life in the hotel, I felt it was completely empty, no coffee shop or bar in the lobby that would create an atmosphere.

It's image and room facilities. Check in procedure so long. They have deducted thb3000 from my credit card which u have not received money back. Although I paid again for my stayed thb 1967....

it was very unfortunate for me to decide Davis hotel.when we reached hotel late night for check-in,we found the front desk staff un helpful, un courteous and took long time to check in. we deposited our golf bag with bell desk and to retrieve those while check out,we got the reply that they misplaced it and took more than 30 minute to locate as we were running short of time.we really do not know why people stay there.We were charged more than it was quoted at the time of check out and the front desk staff was unable to explain,we paid whtaever was asked for as we were running out of time.

The pool was nice. The front desk staff were unhelpful and at times, really rude. This hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the skytrain, so its very hard to get home with kids/bags as the hotel shuttle tuk is one-way only. Traffic off course in the early evening is amazing so its hard to find a taxi for a 5 min ride back. They have replaced the lovely bar with a coffee and bagel shop, so there is no pleasant or relaxing after dinner drink. This hotel is not a good location. Also be aware the beds are extremely (and I mean extremely) hard.

free upgrade. nice hotel location. two signs on mini bar suggesting special complimentary deal. ambiguous at best and with ambiguities the rule is contra proferentes interpretation. dispute with front desk over extra charge amounting to a few £s. front desk staff totally instransigent. was restrained from leaving hotel - I threatened police. finally owner (?) appeared compromised reached in 20 secs. but whole incident left a bad taste in the mouth.
