The wifi is terribly slow, The pool could use a good clean. They need to stop the smokers coming from the 7th floor smoking in the lifts.
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times up to 2 weeks each time. We enjoy long breakfasts reading the paper.

I travelled with my husband and we were so super impressed with the staffs. They were efficient and what we liked most was the fact that they provided us with free shuttle for us to go anywhere nearby the hotel (hypermarket, BTS station). They even recommended us a very good place for tailoring called Charlie's Design. We stayed in the Main Wing and since husband is a smoker we managed to get a smoking room. Overall all we can say is we were super happy with this hotel. Value for money. Extra credit to staff named Alex who has been a great help during our stay. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Today, I checked in to the Hotel around 3:00am. It was kind of early in the morning because my flight arrived around midnight but that is not the point. The point was that when I arrived at a hotel, there was only one girl who was working at that time, no one else. I carried my luggages down from a Taxi with the help from a Taxi driver. Then I carried my luggages by myself to get inside a hotels without any help from anyone (I don’t blame a Taxi driver because it’s not his job); I have two big luggages and one big backpack with me. That girl, who’s working at the front desk just looking at me carrying a lot of stuff and she didn’t help me at all. I know that she’s working at the front desk and this is not her job, but come on seriously, I have two big luggages and one big backpack with me, HOW CAN I OPEN THE DOOR WITH MY HANDFUL!!! With no help from anyone I’ve to carrying all my stuff to my room (by my self, no one offer me any help) While I was carrying all the luggages on the way to my room, I was questioning to myself that “IS THIS A HOTEL OR A MOTEL?”. If I like to help myself I should gone to motel not your hotel. I’m your customer, I’d paid a lot of money to stayed in your hotel, is this how you treat me as a customer?? Okay, if I don’t want a good services why should I pay a lot of money to stay at your hotel? You ruin my first impression. THANK YOU for a great services ever.

The breakfast costs is reasonable. Dinning room staffs are good as well as the pool area.

The rooms weren't spotless but this could be due to the fact we were kind of rushing them to let us get in there!
I really liked the size of the rooms, the price, the location, the staff (very accomadating and helpful) - gave us an early check in and late check out! Toon was our man!

Wifi could be free...
We always stay some days at the Davis whenever we travel to Bangkok. The service is good, the rooms are spacious and elegant and the price/quality ratio is just superb! We love to just spend a day at the Elephant pool to get a real relaxed feel of being on a vacation in Asia in the middle of buzzing Bangkok! Definitely recommended!

Focuses too heavily to catering to Japanese guests, maybe playing Super Mario theme music in the hall might be a tad too much.
Excellent service and value for money. All round great facility that rivals five-star hotels. Good location

Its a 4* hotel but does not hold itself out to be anything more. The carpet was a bit grubby and the hotel was a little tired. The bathroom could benefit from being modernised and the amenities weren't great.
I liked that the room was big and the location was great, making it easy to get around. Taxis were easy to get and although I did not use it the sky train was at the end of the road. There were shops and restaurants at hand.

It's a bit far from Sukumvit & Bangkok taxis are horrible! It would help if The Davis had a doorman to help organize it.
The facilities were super. Great value for the money. Nadimos across the street. The Thai house was gorgeous.
