The location. Tours if eye had been able to use them
The fact that although the garden restraunt was not busy the service of the meals arriving was extremely bad. My son received his then after a five minute laps mine arrived and then we had to ask where my daughter in laws was. By this time my sons was cold. We were all Ill that night this made the short stay a waste of time as we could not avail ourselves of the tours, would not recommend this hotel or indeed stay there again.
Location, value for money
My 8 year old son said it was the best. Great location, able to walk to day tune events and not market. Great for trekking into the jungle and for riding elephants in the jungle (via 2 hours guided tour by van) do the tour bus hotel guide as it is cheaper than the guide that you'll meet at train station). Great swimming pool shallow depth for beginner swimmers great rooms great views from rooms modern and clean and spacious great breakfasts wide selection for all taste buds
The poolside areas were excellent for relaxation purposes. Breakfast was very good indeed. Staff were helpful. A little oasis in the night market area!
Nothing not to like!
Got an upgrade to a suit
It was on the 15 floor but hey ho it was great shame we only there 1 day
Everything was so nice ! Great variety of food for breakfast. The Garden restaurant was excellent with live music! The crowning glory was the spa where the Thai massage was the best yet !! I am eager to return !
This was an excellent hotel to use as a base for visiting the interesting area in and around Chiang Mai. Good facilities and good service. The hotel is in large grounds so easy to have a walk in the gardens or a dip in the pool to cool down after a hot day sightseeing. Breakfast was fine if not stunning but the garden bar and the lobby bar were certainly worth a visit. I didn't try the restaurants because of the variety in the city. Easy to get a tuk tuk locally or to use the tour desk who arranged an excellent trip for me.
staff, breakfast, pool, location.
Great hotel - rooms big, clean and comfortable bed! Excellent pool and perfect location, 2 minute walk to restaurant, pubs and street market but far enough so no noise. We did a 2 day trek whilst staying here, luggage room free. Best shopping for souvenirs in Chiang Mai from street market! Would stay again.
Location to centre of town.
Noisy, average selection of food, miserable staff.
Pool area and the comfortable beds
Swimming pool and the room was good and the staff at the suit floor
Front of house staff was awful unfriendly
Good Location. Pleasant staff. Good bed Good food
no bathtub. Do not have a smoking area.
Room size Cleanliness Location was great Staff helpful especially good for getting small change for large notes Few good tv channels
Beds were hard but all beds are in Thailand... Restaurant was expensive- we went to geckos bar at the end of the street for breakfast- much cheaper...
Gym very small, swimming close too early
Already recommending Booking.com to friends as best service for hotel reservation.
Once again, the hotel nice and comfortable but the food in the coffee shop was expensive and my trout was inedible. You really should train your staff to cook. This is why there was only 3 other people eating. This will now stop me staying at the hotel again.
towels and bed sheet is clean
wifi is not stable
Breakfast Location Shopping
The location is great, walking distance from the night bazaar and close to everything. The taxi service and the TukTuk are not necessary at all. 150 THB from the airport and you done with transportation.
The room is old and need renovation as soon as possible. The shower build for short people and you dont have any option to change the high of the water. Looks like didn't renovate it since the 70's. The wifi is free but poor and disconnect all the time. We ask to upgrade the room but we have been told that this is the best room on the 7 floor. The price is fair but for the next time I'll probably will stay somewhere else.
Great access and fairly quiet. Staff willing to accommodate requests. Breakfast selection was great, but the menu itself didn't change much during our 10 days.
We booked a Royal Suite and it was marvelous - roomy, luxurious, comfortable. The staff was professional. Morning breakfast buffet was superb. We could not have had a better experience.
Nothing significant to complain about.
