The Oriental Siam Resort

Now we understanding the glowing recommendations we read before booking our stay with you. Thank you for making our few days in Chiang Mai a perfect holiday. Our thanks to Pong-sri for all of her most gracious helpfulness.

It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair in the room for reading or watching tv.

This was a small and quaint resort with a wonderful atmosphere to relax. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and provided good service. We would stay here again.

Not much, it was very clean and many of the staff worked very hard.

The bed was very hard, the mosquitoes ate us alive, the grounds were not the promised flower garden, but some small plants around a mud hole. You had to go out side to get to the bathroom. We lasted one night of a 10 day planed stay, they charged us for three nights. It was worth it to get out of there.

This hotel is the best we've stayed at in Thailand. Rooms are located in a wonderful garden with swimming pool, it is very calm and comfortable. No noise from the city, it seems you are in a little paradise. And above all, the staff is amazingly nice and helpful, very useful when choosing a nice restaurant or a trek around Chang Mai.

Resort oli pieni, intiimi ja erittäin rauhallinen. Villoja ja uima-allasta ympäröi mielettömän upea puutarha. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä, huomaavaista ja auttavaista. Si tratta di un piccolo paradiso alla periferia di Chiang Mai, che ci ha permesso di smaltire il fuso orario in un'armosfera di gentilezza e tranquillità. La sistemazione era ottima, con una grande camera divisa dal bagno/spogliatoio da un terrazino/giardino privato. La manager e lo staff sono stati davvero gentii e disponibili, tanto che tre giorni sono bastati a sentirci a casa.

L'unico neo di questo piccolo resort nel verde è il rovescio della medaglia della sua bellezza. Si trova infatti a 8 km dal centro della città, il che lo rende silenzioso e piacevole rispetto al caos e all'inquinamento del centro. Quando però si tratta di andare e tornare, magari per riposarsi un po' o per andare a pranzo o a cena, è necessario prendere un taxi.

Het is een heerlijk klein hotel net buiten het centrum van chiang mai. Binnen 10 minuten ben je in het drukke centrum. Voor een paar euro's De eigenaar is nederlands en die kon een hoop vertellen over de omgeving en restaurant. Het was een hotel helemaal naar onze zin.
