Offering boutique accommodation in Chiang Mai’s Old City, The Rim features classic Lanna architecture, tropical gardens, and an outdoor pool. The hotel is a 15-minute stroll from the Walking Street. Rooms at The Rim Chiang Mai feature wooden interiors and Thai fabrics. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and tea/coffee making facilities. The private bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and separate shower. Guests enjoy the 24-hour services of a butler, who can arrange tours bookings, car rental, and other personal requests. The hotel also has a small fitness room and walking paths in the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Buffet breakfast is served at The Canal restaurant, which is open during mealtimes. It offers local and international dishes, plus a selection of wines and cocktails. We really liked the room and the hotel as a whole. The staff is very friendly and have a good command of English. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Good value for the money. It's on the outskirt of town, so you couldn't really get anywhere without the taxi or Tuk-Tuk.

The staff were amazing- went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from last minute info and organising our bookings for day tours (I'm talking night before!), to breakfast, to making us feel very welcome with a guide around the facilities and our room on arrival. I was amazed at the the exceptionally friendly service of all the staff who really made the stay memorable. The design of the rooms and architecture are also beautiful and feel authentically Thai :) Location was good because it is close to both the city and airport, which is very rare especially for nice accommodation. Nothing at all except that that we didn't get to stay longer!

Very friendly staff. Food is excellent! And the location perfect. Nice and romantic hotel. The lunch menu is very attractive, but on limited times available. So we could not order their satay, which much be wonderfull, as the food in the restaurant is delicious.

The Rim的客服态度非常好，英文比曼谷四星级酒店的都好。感觉很easy-going，很耐心，为我的清迈之旅加分。地理位置非常适当，进城很方便，出城也方便。The Rim每天还免费送客人去晚上的急事，很NICE。酒店设计很有FEEL，很悠闲。 酒店的地板可以稍微休整下，有点显旧。第一天尝试了酒店的早餐，还不错，但自费有点小贵要300泰铢。
