Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.

Great place!
Great place! Great street food night market and shopping centres. We went to De Rust pub for dinner and watched a band one night. We really enjoyed our short time in Chumphon. Definitely make the trip to the viewpoint around 15mins outside of Chumphon, Definitely worth visiting!

We got an upgrade to poolview room.
Spacious bedroom and big bed. Small outdated bathroom with curtain shower in bath tub. Not much waterpressure.
Breakfast was poor, esp
eccially for foreigners. No cheese, or ham. Dirty jams and peanut butter with a spoon dug in was not apealing. Croisants and cappuccino was ok though.

Only there overnight with my wife and three year old grandson. Yet I had to book two rooms because they couldn't or wouldn't cater for the child.
No one in the reception until 08.00 am, the main gate was locked and although we had planned an early start (driving to Phuket) we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive.
The property cant be described has a hotel, two rows of rooms Nd the location is poor.
There will not be another visit and I would certainly not recommend to your readers.

There are some lovely beaches here.
There are some lovely beaches here.
People are not that used to seeing western tourists, very little English spoken. Though those that do speak English are keen to practice.
Restaurants were limited as were bars (due to covid).
Ate in a local restaurant. Friendly ladies. Food all came out at different times (rice first, before the meat/fish dishes).
Quite dark around the streets at night. We felt safe, but needed a torch.

I went to Chumphon for a city trip (rather than islands and snorkling which the city is famous for). The overall experience is good. There are not so many places for you to visit in the Chumphon city and vicinity area. But there are many adventurous places around the province (which require driving time up to 2 hrs in some places). Worth to visit anyway :D
Not close to anything , be prepared to spend lots of money to get anywhere. no spa and no golf , but this wasn’t told until after we booked then we got a message from the property.
Staff are polite but very difficult with communication in English. Breakfast is extremely ordinary and not fresh.
The beach is over the road from the property and is an absolute tragedy that the locals accept the amount of rubbish and filth on the beach.
The only good thing about Chumphon is leaving it .
This place is really special. Just a few minutes from buzzing chumphon. It is a green oasis of peace and beauty! Our villa was very comfortable and well equipped. The staffs was very nice and accommodating. If you are there ask for the massage from Rung. Do the reflexology massage but be aware that it takes a few hours. It is an absolut fantastic experience! One of the highlights!
We picked the Hop Inn, on our way back from the Islands, as it was 15 minutes walk to the train station and had plenty of food and drink options nearby.
We've never tried one before but would happily use Hop again, nice staff, nice room, and we both agreed that the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in Thailand.
We loved everything about our stay. The room we had was very large, so comfortable and clean. The hotel is located on the beach in a quiet little town that made for a great relaxing stay. It was a very quirky place but the best part was the wonderful young staff that ran this place - they totally made our time there.
Friendly family run tent hotel.
Very quiet at night only sounds of bugs, lizards and birds.
Good inhouse restaurant with simple Thai dishes. Served local fresh fruits like melon, pineapple and papaya.
This a tent hotel very tightly organized space even has a Aircon unit.
This is a lovely, small establishment, perfect for a stop-over in Chumphon.
It's incredibly clean, well-maintained, and in a nice safe location.
The mini-bar is also super cheap, which is handy because the nearest 7/10 is a 15 minute walk away.
The owner is amazing, such a kind and sweet person who really helped with planning my day in Chumphon. Everything was very clean and modern. Self check-in is also available for anyone arriving later in the evening/night.
Nice boutique hotel in a little hidden corner from the main road but within minutes to all amenities.
Has ample parking;
Good English speaking front office;
Nice large rooms with teak furniture;
Has lift;
The best hotel/resort on our trip in the southern part of Thailand. Great homemade breakfast, the room is amazing, very clean, good shower, soft bed, and a wonderful place to stay! highly recommend!!!!
The hotel located out of center, but near there are a few restaurants that you can eat. Staff very friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are big and has everything that you may need.
- Cute, clean & well taken care property
- Receptionist was very helpful & nice.
- Location is right by Sai Ri beach which is very gorgeous & serene
- Good value for money
Great place to stay in Chumphon, the rooms are big and private. Located in front of a river with free acces to use Kayak or a bicycle. Very recomendable, i will come back.
One of our best stay in Thailand.
Amazing staff, thank you once again for all your care!
Clean rooms, perfect size pool, delicious breakfast.
Highly recommend.
