Quiet and relaxed feel, removed from the crowds and noise! Breakfast included. Resort can help arrange transportation. I found it difficult to decide where to stay in this area of Thailand and it should be made clear that Tonsai Bay Resort is in Tonsai Bay, which is only accessible by boat from Ao Nang. If you are planning to stay here, know that you will need to take a long-tail boat to and from the resort in order to visit the popular beaches of Railey, and that there are limited services on this bay (small shops, no grocery store, lots of climbing shops and several restaurants). It is not appropriate for those with limited mobility to stay here due to the boat/beach arrival and the walking to the resort required.

The food was our biggest bonus. It was unreal, not a bad bite in any meal! Power is shut off from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Excellent location. Cliffs and right in front of them is the beach. Convenient place for young backpackers that they love nature. Even cheaper accommodations can be found next to it, with lower supplies.

Nice place and good breakfast Lloc maco i l'esmorzar està bé. There is no wifi, no towels to go to the beach, the location is not in Railey and is not easy to go and come to Railey because of the tides. You cant stay in Railey after 20:00 because later you are not able to go back to the hotel. We would recommend other cheaper bungalows in Tonsai.

I liked the comfort of a nice resort and the atmosphere of Tonsai Beach, which is mainly a backpacker and rock climber beach. When the tide is low, you can walk to Railay beach. Tonsai Beach only accessible by longboat from Ao Nang. They normally wait untill there is a certain number of passengers. Otherwise you can book your own boat with the hotel, which is a bit more expensive.

I brought a Study Abroad group of students there over New Years and they loved it!! I loved the beauty of the location with the mountains and some loved the beach, mountain climbing, sea kayaking, beach massages, etc. Very layed back. If you are afraid of monkeys do not stay here as you have to walk past a group of monkeys on way back from dinner to your cottage. One tip is not to carry food as they will come after you. Also hard to come to this remote beach from Karabi with l large roll bags since you have to come in long tail boats. You have to wade in the water to get off the boat to get on the beach so have water shoes.

Tonsai Bay Resort is quite close to the beach. Allthough the room was clean, it was very smelly, kind of mould- infested. I guess it was the mattress of the bed. Another couple left after staying one night, as we did! As we booked 6 nights and left earlier, we had to pay one night extra.

Interesting but too expensive and not worth it compared to other places the same prize. Humid, mosquitoes, agressive monkeys and to much garbage...

Good location - closer to beach than most hotels in Tonsai. Ac, hot water and electricity as advertised Spacious rooms Decent breakfast Cleaning was very superficial - they would make the beds but did not sweep the floor or clean the bathroom. My sink leaked and despite repeated requests, the staff did not deal with it. Bungalows are old.

The secluded location at Tonsai Bay was great, its a very relaxed little bay with a great atmosphere. The area is really beautiful. A lot of people were there for the rock climbing, but its worth visiting even if you don't rock climb. In that area the plumbing is not great.

The food made by the lady (ladies) on the right hand side (looking upwards) of the parallell street to the main restaurant - she was the very best. Dinner at the restaurant was good too. I liked to rent kayak and explore the region for myself - in my own tempo. In these modern times, I would like to have wifi and use my own computer, the computers at the pc-pavilion, got a worm that made some of them them hard to use. I would also like to have information - in beforehand - where to be located to catch the public long tail boat and when there is electricity available, just to be mentally prepared.

Staff insisted we pay before seeing the room, then informed us that the electricity is cut between 9 am and 5pm. Also one day the cleaner must have left the doors open and monkeys came in and destroyed our bags and stole food in the room. Not a trip highlight.

The location is amaizing, but other than that if you don't plan to rock clime and take orgenized trips don't go there. Hard to get in and out of the beach, only by boat, which you have to wait to be full at list with 8 people or pay for the full price your self, there is no electrisity from 9-17. So you better stay on another beach

The spectacular scenery and extraordinary topography made up for the poor service and lack of facilities. Awe inspiring Limestone Karsts protruding over restaurant, monkeys everywhere added to the atmosphere. The location was great however, Ton Sai Bay Resort manager grumpy and unhelpful. The beach is very disappointing and dirty not as shown in images were saw before we left. We felt this resort was more for the low budget adventure traveller and not normal people.

Stále příjemný a klidný resort, za mnoho let se tam naštěstí nic nezměnilo :) Absolutně neschopný personál v místní restauraci... Jedinou vyjímkou usměvavá a vždy příjemná slečna, všichni ostatní hrůza a děs.
