“ Staff was very helpful to take us to the hospital when we had a medical issue. It was easy to get cabs/transportation and to tell drivers where to take us as the hotel was right by am important old city gate Had an elevator. Spa was nice. ”

The breakfast was nice as well as the location. The salt in the pool caused me to have lesions form on my skin and burn my skin. The cleaning ladies never would leave any soap and shampoo in the bathroom so I was constantly having to go ask for more.

Coming back after a hot walk etc to a nice clean room to chill out and have a swim and a cool drink. The smiling and friendly staff always helpful and fun We were here 6 months ago and the breakfast selection was better, the salads are now bland and no congee soup, cereal or yogurt, missed out as new dishes not happening, to make it more interesting, same, same

The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Staff were helpful and nice. The location was great; we even strolled all the way to the night bazar. Plenty of anti- mosquito spaying each evening! Fantastic little massage parlor by the pool, great prices, excellent massage and lovely staff! Bathrooms need updating; a bit mouldy. Pool was lined with plastic and needed a clean however we used it a lot! Breakfast was a bit yack, strange. We found a little German cafe to the right of the hotel that did great pancakes so abandoned our hotel breakfasts. Wifi was intermittent.

what i like is the location itself, it was convenient to everything. The staff itself, the hospitality is very much appreciated. what i didn't like is the noise outside my room, i can't sleep. And also mosquitoes, although i already expect this, but if you're travelling for leisure you want to have the best out of it.on the other hand the service is good and thumbs up for it.

Excellent location, my room was a bit vintage, but large and nice looking. Had issues with noise in room 300 (to avoid!!!), but then I got a better room (with little negotiation). Close to nice part of the city, swimming pool, breakfast all good just issues with noise in the room, then fixed.

The hotel was at a 15 minutes walking distance from the night bazaar. It was dirty, like old dirty. When we arrived in the room the floor was dusty, the toilet was dusty, the towels and bed linnen were way too old with blood and other stains. There were rats running in de pool, one even took a swim in the swimming pool. The pool on the other hand was a so called ozonated swimming pool, but it was all green en dirty. We both work in the hotel industry but this is really "not done". And why the hell does the hotel don't do anything about the rat situation!! The hotel staffs are nice but when you ask a simple question about the things to do in Chiang Mai they all act as if they do not know the place. (Why do you become a hotel receptionist in the first place?) Well because next to the reception the hotel has a "travel agent" where you can book trips. These were not friendly, money grubbin ladies who act very arrogant and unintersted towards the guests. I don't like to talk bad about hotels but this one is really unacceptable.

The location is in the centre of the city. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The receptionist was good and they provide us a free transport to airport. I hope there will be a kettle to make hot drink because I saw in the photo they provide it in the room.

Clean modren well designed rooms, especially in the modern block (latest addition to hotel). Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast) was good. Location was absolutely sensational - right in the middle of Chang Mai - where all the action was!!! Our 2nd family room in the older block was a little more tired, but was still great value for money.

The deluxe room was comfortable but noisy. Noisy hotel, built around pool and restaurant which amplifies noise from there up to the rooms. Cold pool. No bacon at breakfast.

The pool was nice to lounge around and it was ozone treated Generally the place looks tired and dated. My room was far from special, though comfortable bed and clean. Generally I felt it was poor and for the price, other places are far better

The Restaurant had a good variety of food at reasonable prices - The rooms very very old and very dirty - mould everywhere. Staff were unhelpful. I paid when I arrived, which was a mistake, had I asked to see the room first I would not have paid and tried to get another Hotel. The bathroom, wardrobe and walls had mould, it was dirty. The swimming pool was well located, but again - the walls were dirty - although the water was clean.
