Very central to market and places to eat.
Old bad rooms - look nice in facade but very old and not taken care of. First room a big cockroach run over the floor and under bed when open door. The reception lady manage to say "maybe it was only a small one"? I get a new room that was better - even some small ants. Bathroom door rotten wood. Personal not that nice and breakfast was nothing. Sorry to say but that's my experience there - never again.
The location was excellent. Comfortable bed and a very clean and well serviced room.
The kick boxing was on next door, and that was a bit loud. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Quiet, clean, convenient and comfortable. No complaints or problems.
WiFi was creaky, but it eventually came around and worked after a number of tries
Showing it's age.
The pool was good but cold and a bit salty and the location is close to all the action outside and inside the old city
The staff were a bit unhelpful, we booked a double room but ended up with a twin. The next day they wouldn't change it either. We checked out early and found something else (with a double bed)
Location Size of rooms
Elevator not working Wifi not working
Swimming Pool location regarding the Sun
Wouldn't feed the breakfast to my dog Air con didn't work and wifi was poor
Location is handy.
Wi-fi rarely worked and when it did was too slow to even refresh Facebook on a phone. Reception staff were surly and unwelcoming. Breakfast is poor.
Old very old
My daughter and I love the people of Chiang Mai. Top North Hotel is awesome. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Facilities were fine for us, the pool is a welcomed bonus. Breakfast, was a great start for another adventurous day.
wonderful location friendly staff, limited knowledge english good restaurant for dinner Nice Pool
The WIFI is just GIGANTIC BAD - connections is lost, or 6 to 7 times per hour ore unaivaleble The Elevator doesn't go to every floor Breakfast is sad, just around the corner you eat better The photo of the rooms are dated from 20 years ago, hygienic very moderate
Room was dirty, my husband even cleaned the tub out before we used it.
Location was amazing! So convinent! Basic, cheap, comfortable!
I liked that there was a massage/beauty parlour on site that was very reasonably priced and the tour operators in the foyer were excellent. I can highly recommend the khantoke dinner and Chiang Mai Adventures. It is well located for the old city.
The corridors/stairs are on the scruffy side and the water in our bathroom was discoloured. The pool is salty so be warned sensitive skin types.
Comfy bed Airy feeling Central location but quiet set back from the road
Breakfast lacked any sparkle - little choice
being on the ground floor with no stairs to climb
Location, value for money
Smell of old furniture and rooms, bad old aircon unit
Reception service, tour desk service, breakfast, poolside
Wi fi was unobtainable
The house keeping by the cleaning staff was good, can't fault the cleaning staff.
I had booked a 2 bedroom deluxe room almost 3 months prior to arrival; on arrival the reception said to me, there was no room available and offered me 2 individual separate rooms that did not compare to what I had booked with no compensation. They also looked at me in surprise that I would not except this, what is the purpose of booking! Then they said if I could wait till 2pm (which I was quite prepared to do) that the room that I had booked could be available, the audacity. My family then went for lunch and returned at 3pm, to find they had misplaced one of our luggage (GREAT START!!). Then went up to our room to find we had no WI-FI. Went down to reception which then doubted my findings. Person came up to check, and surpriiiiisse the WI-FI wasn't working. Asked is we could have a kettle in the room to make tea (should be standard issue), wanted me to put a 1000 baht deposit. Come on, for the nuisance they had caused, they couldn't even provide this item.
near to sunday market
poor selection of foods for breakfast,
Swimming pool and employees.
I never slept well due to the noise.
The pool and reception area are well maintained only
It's dirty and very dated. The wifi connection was very poor. The breakfast was disgusting. Staff not very helpful.
the location and swimming pool
Location, pool was okay too.
Staff were very unhelpful and weren't willing to awnser questions or give information. All huddled together behind counter. No smiles or good english. So loud in mornings. Bar would blast thai music at 8:00 waking you up. Terrible
