Everything else, pretty grim. Much better places around.
The 1st room was on 3rd floor WITH NO LIFT ACCESS. Lift access is ok on all floors to original building but no access to newer extension after 2nd floor. I am 70 and have arthritis so asked to be moved to lower floor and got a grubby room! We will not be back although have stayed many times before and this was the worst!
the first room was lovely. We left for 4 days to visit Chiang Rai. The second room was a disgrace and the hotel was very noisy!
i donot like the old fashion of room decoration and toilet
i like the location where nearby thaprea gate and alot of nice restaurants
The bathroom was filthy with mould everywhere. Paint splashes over the tiles. Bathroom door falling apart with water damage. Vanity draw stuck open. Brown stain on side of divan bed. Neither of the 2 bedside lights worked.Disgraceful.Attitude of reception staff can only be described as uncaring.
Superior Double Rooms very standard Bathrooms very poor Breakfast substandard Hotel not well maintained
Location is very good with everything close at hand
Very noisy lots of door slamming. Thia boxing venue next to hotel j extremely noisy
Location friendly staff
Some of the exterior could do with redecoration; it looked a bit shabby in places.
I stayed in a deluxe room and thought it was very nice. The pool was also great.
The wifi was terrible, the rooms were very dirty and outdated not worth the price not even close.
No room service for 24hrs
Nothing of importance. The noise from local revelry permeated the whole area if windows left open, but that's part of the colour.
Hotel in heart of the area where most tourists like to go. May not be the best hotel ever, but certainly well above the 'average' within this locale. Had no need to rely on hotel staff because all needs were just a few steps away in the bustling streets.
a bit poor the breakfast and the rooms a bit old
I liked the location and swimming pool sorroundings
Old bad rooms - look nice in facade but very old and not taken care of. First room a big cockroach run over the floor and under bed when open door. The reception lady manage to say "maybe it was only a small one"? I get a new room that was better - even some small ants. Bathroom door rotten wood. Personal not that nice and breakfast was nothing. Sorry to say but that's my experience there - never again.
Very central to market and places to eat.
The kick boxing was on next door, and that was a bit loud. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The location was excellent. Comfortable bed and a very clean and well serviced room.
WiFi was creaky, but it eventually came around and worked after a number of tries
Quiet, clean, convenient and comfortable. No complaints or problems.
Showing it's age.
The staff were a bit unhelpful, we booked a double room but ended up with a twin. The next day they wouldn't change it either. We checked out early and found something else (with a double bed)
The pool was good but cold and a bit salty and the location is close to all the action outside and inside the old city
Elevator not working Wifi not working
Location Size of rooms
Swimming Pool location regarding the Sun
Wouldn't feed the breakfast to my dog Air con didn't work and wifi was poor
Wi-fi rarely worked and when it did was too slow to even refresh Facebook on a phone. Reception staff were surly and unwelcoming. Breakfast is poor.
Location is handy.
Old very old
My daughter and I love the people of Chiang Mai. Top North Hotel is awesome. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Facilities were fine for us, the pool is a welcomed bonus. Breakfast, was a great start for another adventurous day.
The WIFI is just GIGANTIC BAD - connections is lost, or 6 to 7 times per hour ore unaivaleble The Elevator doesn't go to every floor Breakfast is sad, just around the corner you eat better The photo of the rooms are dated from 20 years ago, hygienic very moderate
wonderful location friendly staff, limited knowledge english good restaurant for dinner Nice Pool
Room was dirty, my husband even cleaned the tub out before we used it.
