Not much space to store luggage in the room, some beds didn't get much air from the fans (no A/C) but for the price you pay what can you expect.
I spent more than a week at Trekker Camp during Songkran and had the most amazing time there. During the festival, they organised to take guests in a jeep around the old town to participate in the famous waterfighting! The location is close enough to old town (100baht tuk-tuk, or 5min bicycle ride) but far enough to feel like you are living in a local house (there's also a cool temple few mins walk away). A super chilled out place with welcoming and friendly staff, by the end of my stay it felt like guests and staff were a big family!

Staff was nor really helpful and rather not friendly.
Quiet, clean specious room with free WIFI and breakfast. Good deal! Far from city center- scooter or bike is must have.

Howling dogs in the night :)
We stayed at upper rooms. We were surprised by the cleanness and comfy bed. Breakfast was simple but it gave us the energy to head the town, which is 20 minutes walk.

Location is a little out the way from the main town/city. However you ride a bike or walk which takes only 20mins
Price was very good - 100B for 1night with breakfast included! (Two slices of toast, fried egg and some jam with unlimited tea or coffee!) Good atmosphere Comfy bed

Possibly too far out of the city centre for some. But it is walkable along a nice route.
The communal area outside where the free breakfast was served was excellent. Very pretty and warm space. The wifi reached all areas of the hostel without a problem. The staff spoke good English and were great helps with booking our coach to our next location. Highly recommend if you're travelling on a budget. Great value for money.

This place has terrible service and far location. The property was very far from everything. The service was extremely poor. The staff didn't clean our room for 3 days during our stay. We asked them to please take the garbage out and clean up the room, but they never did.The staff was lazy and not attentive, very disappointed of this place. We don't recommend it at all.

It's a mile outside of the city centre - it's fine to walk just hard to walk back after a very busy day on your feet! But for the price you pay you can't really complain.
We like the price of the rooms, for a private room and breakfast it was a bargain. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were helpful.

So good staff, they help you with your trip and with question. Pi pum was very kind :)

The towels and toilet is very dirty (quite disappointed). The staffs did not agree to change towels for us daily (they said towel changing for every 2 days). We had to persuade them to change :(
Staffs are good at English, very cheap compared to average hotel price in Chiang Mai. Excellent wifi connection and free breakfast. Quite close to night market (bazza) - you can take a tuk tuk to go there for 50-60 baht only. Close to the airport (20 mins by car - 120-160 baht)

They say they can organize day trips and get you a discount if you order with them. We payed 1000baht. On our excursion we met a couple which payed only 800baht, so check other agencies as well!
It's very cheap. Staff was nice and helpful as well. Breakfast is good as well, not much, but a good start of a day.

The bathroom smelt very bad..also bed was very uncomfortable...
The hostel had free bikes so you can go to the city for free and explore it(hostel is a bit outside of the town)... They can arrange you one or more day trips... There is atrium where you can hang out, plus in morning you have free breakfast...

Wi-Fi cannot connect in room. First day we check in, the lady didn't say any word to us, I felt bad for first impression. But the owner is good at everything.
Bicycle free, and the owner is passionate.
