Old furniture Aging decoration
Clean rooms Well equiped satellite TV and a/c
Comfortable bed, location, TV with English speaking channels. Helpful staff. Quiet.
At this price not much. Would be nitpicking. Could be a bit cleaner maybe.
The place has a nice vibe and private parking. Rooms are spacious. Basic but good at this price. Bed is fine too. Location is great with bar area Zoe nearby and plenty of restaurants. Staff was friendly.
Good value for money.
the bed was so comfortable. hotel is in the old city so that is good.
A lovely little hotel in a great location, surrounded by little bars and restaurants. Clean, comfortable rooms - free water, free wifi
Wifi not very reliable
Inside old city, easy to find, quiet
Good location - not in the dodgy bar area. Clean & good value.
The hotel is not new, but generally everything is ok.
The room was clean. There were big bottles of shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom.
Wifi dropped out quite often.
We liked our room, nicely decorated, pleasant furniture and very clean throughout. Location was really good, quiet with some nice restaurants nearby. Free use of desktop computers and a good manager. Good value for money
Friendly staff very helpful able to speak English. Tea/coffee making facilities were good
Good bed and a/c Clean Nice decor
Very good value for money. Basic but clean and comfortable. Nice location with bars and restaurants around but quiet. Adam, the owner, a lovely man and helpful with tours etc. Blue Diamond is a good restaurant with fresh, organic food.
Rooms could need a makeover, spatious but oder furniture and small bathroom
Friendly owner who seems to know the city very well
The owner was perfect, very kind man who sorting everything out that we wanted to do (activities, transport, food recommendations). Comfy beds for the price with sheets changed every morning. Great location with two great bars a minute away.
Got quite a few bites so pile on the bug spray at night!
Nice comfy beds(firm) great location to everything especially a little cafe/deli called blue diamond-best gluten free treats ever! Friendly and helpful staff.
A/C average TV was awful
Okay location Stern but good service Good bathroom
The songthaw from the bus station couldn't find the place as I think the address is a little bit misleading. If you go up Soi 9 of Moon Muang and turn right when you get to the T-junction in the road, its just there on the left. No breakfast option unfortunately, so perhaps there is value elsewhere in guesthouses that offer breakfast , included for a slightly higher price. That said, there are plenty of places nearby offering a brekkie. Also, the fact there was no remote for the air con, and it only has one mode-on and off. After a while the room gets very cold so you need to get out of bed, turn it off, then wake up in a sweat three hours later and get up and turn it on again.
I paid 595 Baht for a private double with its own bathroom - room is small enough but still very good value. There's a tv in the room, and a small desk and wardrobe. The balcony is a bit of a non-runner, its tiny and has no furniture there to sit on. The room is secure and has three locks which was comforting for me as a solo female. Owner will help you with any local needs you have and has very good English.
Of course this is not a 5 star hotel, in the end you get what you pay for. But there was not really much we disliked - this place is definitely better than a hostel and not really more expensive.
The key sentence is "value for money" - it will be hard to get a place so close to all major attractions of Chiang Mai for this price and still have good accomodation. In terms of staff I especially want to mention Adam who got up for us in the middle of the night in order to open the door and welcome us long after reception closed. Thanks a lot again!
No access to hot water machine for hot drinks after office hours
Very clean rooms, crisp white cotton sheets, good size fridge, effective modern air con
Loud neighborhood, caraoke has been on going through the night The menue for the roomservice was full of different dinner dishes but they only had two different kinds of spahetti dishes...was a bit sad
Five min from airport Nice rooms for a cheap price
Outside light was always shining through the window during the night Air conditioning system was a bit old and noisy and was either too hot or cold but hotel provided quilt so I was pretty cosy!
Location was perfect for exploring the old city but was tucked away from the noise Room was good for a few nights stay, fridge was handy and was pleased to have free toiletries handy Was good value for money as we struggled to find something this nice for the price in the thapae gate area Hotel is close to bars and restaurants
the furniture is a little bit old, but still comfortable.
location is really food to explore the old city
Nothing in particular, was as expected
Simple but clean, staff helpfull, good location, walking distance to most temples and night market, many eateries, travel agents, massages close by.
Wifi was broken (would stop working once in a while)
Value for price is good, also the location.
