The rooms were beautiful! And you are given mountain bikes to use for free which is such a nice touch! Restaurant does good food! Gym is excellent!

I wouldn't advise going in monsoon season. We went in July and the hotel seemed to only have two or three guests, we often saw the staff sitting around looking bored. The beach front is boarded by green sheets to protect from the weather which is a bit if an eye sore.

We were there with an aim to disconnect from the world and it was just about the perfect place

Quite a long ride (3-4h) from Krabi airport. Also, nothing much on Koh Lanta, very expensive to get a private driver to take you out of the resort and around the island

The best time to travel here is on October till March as what the hotel receptionist mentioned to me when me and my fiancé checking in.

The seaview on low season. Close with green netting cloth to prevent the sand blowing around our room but they never tell us about this before we make any decision by making a reservation. Quite unhappy with the acknowledge service but it's worth for relaxation.

Deluxe rooms are big and roomy, best of all..the bed. We never wanted to get up and leave. Thai/Western food at the hotel restaurant were pretty good, we tried the phad thai and fish & chips. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when we visit koh lanta.

Visited during monsoon season, beach was not accessible from the hotel.

Really excellent value, as off-season, with very good service and tasty, reasonable food and drink. Room was extremely comfortable with very efficient air con. Scooter hire was easy and excellent value (250B per day) for good quality scooter and helmet, no problems at all.

Would suggest NOT using the shared minibus airport transfer which is operated privately from the lobby. We told the man our flight time and he assured us we would be fine to take the bus 3 hours before departure (domestic flight), but after picking up the other passengers, we sat and waited in a bus park for about an hour for no apparent reason. After making the river crossings and a riskily fast journey the other side, we arrived at the airport too late for our flight. Very frustrating! Although it is cheap (350B), would definitely go outside the hotel to organise a private taxi instead. I can't fault Twin Lotus itself; when we contacted them to explain, they offered to pay for our new flights - if this happens to you, make sure to call them before buying as they could only easily make a transfer to a Thai bank account (luckily they could refund us into a Thai friend's account). No major issues with the resort itself, although there was a lot of refurbishment going on (presumably why it had such a good deal), and with views to the beach restricted by netting to stop sand.

You can lend bikes for free. The location is good, directly at the beach where there are a few other places you can eat (The Asylum!). The room itself is nice too (inside), they clean every day. The garden pool is also ok.

The place has no soul. Its like entering a prefab concrete city of cloned bungalows. The breakfast is mediocre at best (if you want fresh juice, they'll charge you extra). Do not have dinner there. If you want service, you need to work for it. Ask, then ask again. In the end, they will help you. But they'd rather sit around and chat with each other. Oh, and in the low season, there is no sea-view here. They put up a big green fence. So don't bother taking the "sea-view" villa. Don't bother trying swimming in the pool at the seafront either. Why? The navy comes there to train. All day. Every day.

Green fence put up in front of beach view during our stay as it was beginning of storm season.

it is a fantastic property, right on the beach. food can be very good, except breakfast.

various things make it a much worse hotel than what it should: they have an ugly green cloth type net in front of the pool so that its hard to see the ocean (apparently to shelter from the beach sand..); there's a ton of better solutions than this one. Breakfast could be great but takes forever, and the staff ignores the basics of western bfast, such as what comes with what etc. Very annoying. The free bicycles, necessary to move around, are badly kept, and again, typical in thailand, a ton of underemployed staff that could take care of them in no time. Sometimes no towels on pool. Tried to rent a scooter and it was a tedious experience: they rent from a bad shop that delivers bad bikes, instead of researching the best one for their clients...and so forth. Front office manager is cordial and helpful (although a little uptight), but the other woman is the opposite, like she doesn't want people to stay.

We had a sea-view unit and it was excellent.

Not the resort's fault, but from 1 May Ko Lanta closes down - so if you want some action, activity around you don't go this time of year.

Great wifi all over ! Beautiful new villas modern upscale decor . Bikes to ride .

Big green fence blocking beach views was soooo disappointing -as we were there in " rainy season " but rained for 1 hr during our 4 day stay .

    Garden villa was perfect.

There was a lot of garbage In the sea (bags, etc.). Nearby beach was better (behind the cape - Sayang Beach and others further to the South).

The infinity pool with the most amazing view. Happy hour by the pool overlooking the sea. The room (deluxe) was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Huge bed, amazing washroom. The hotel chef is great, we were looking forward for breakfast all day long (we stayed at twin lotus during low season such that there was no buffet for breakfast). We had dinner at the hotel once and the food was excellent. The no kids policy is highly appreciated. Convenient location but there are better beaches in the south

The staff dont speak English so well, but it wasn't a big problem.

Almost everything was as good as it could be. Great staff, good food, beautiful rooms, free WiFi that works all over the resort could be a little bit faster but then again it's on the islands. A few small things of improvement would make this hotel complete in my eyes. Kayaks and bicycles is avaliable for free which we used everyday during our stay. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day! But need some more basic equipment to be complete.

Nescafé served at breakfast cappucino not included at this price of the hotel if cappuccino is not included at least serve real coffee this is embarrassing. A hotel at this standard should have fresh juice not mixed juice with sugar added.

What I like: free WiFi (the signal goes into the room), beachfront pool and free bicycles. We stayed in the Garden Villa and found the villa to be spacious and nice. Good value for the money during the low season.

    1. When we got there, we noticed that the maid did not empty an ashtray left by the previous guest. 2. We were there during the low season and the hotel was clearly understaffed. Only 2 waitresses at the breakfast and 1 waiter by the pool who failed to inform us about happy hour until our last day. There were no attendants for the beach towels so the towels just piled up in the corner. 3. Food could be improved, especially the dessert. I paid almost THB 300 for a brownie that tasted like something available at a convenient store. 4. There were not a lot of food options around the property - only nearby resorts.
