Very friendly staff, nice tropical garden, our grand deluxe bungalow was really large, the location of the hotel is very comfortable – 10 min to the beach trough the main Lamai street – all restaurants, bars, supermarkets are very close by walk (but Varinda is on the hill and you need to go upstairs). Island tours service at reception is very comfortable – we got almost all booked tours in 1-2 hour after booking in the morning. Laundry services are very comfortable with attractive prices. The room was clean but it’s bungalow and it needs to be ready to the appropriate conditions. The monotonous breakfast during 8 days is not a big pleasure (in spite of I don’t pay a lot of attention usually to this ceremony). Towels were very old and grey all the time, so I was glad that I have my own one. It was lack of cleanser (the second piece of the soap we got on the 5th day after asking at the reception and they try to convince us that we would get it by cleaning) and it was impression that some bottles of them were refilled for a long time already. |

Location was good for us, we enjoyed the bush surroundings and the staff were really friendly but not in your face. Room was two bedrooms, and large. Room had no couch, shower needed to be hand-held as it was to low, bath could not function as a bath as the plug would not retract once pushed in. |

Отель находится в потрясающем тропическом саду, вид из ресторана на удивительной красоты бухту Lamai, тишина и полный релакс в отеле гарантированы, персонал очень дружелюбный и трудолюбивый, отель рассчитан для очень активных людей, т.к. находится на горе, но вид на и на горы потрясающий в отеле все идеально подходит для спокойного отдыха |

Varinda Garden Resort ist ein ganz spezielles Hotel: Auf einem Hügel mit Sicht auf Lamai Beach - eingebettet in einen wahren "Jungle". Die Einrichtung ausschliesslich aus Holz oder anderen Naturmaterialien. Was auffällt, sind die vielen kleinen Details, welches dieses Resort einzigartig machen. Frühstück, Rezeption, Massage, Restaurant- alles ist im Freien und man lebt mit der Natur (was auch Frösche, Geckos, Riesenschnecken, Schmetterlinge...miteinschliesst). Varinda ist eine Oase zum Entspannen - wenn man dem Trubel in Lamai entkommen möchte. Wir waren in der ersten Nacht in einem Superior Zimmer - das Zimmer selbst war ok, aber das Bad entsprach nicht dem Standard des Zimmers, der Kühlschrank in diesem Zimmer war ausserdem sehr laut, und die Lage zur Hauptstrasse hin, hat uns eine schlaflose erste Nacht bereitet. Ich bin am nächsten Tag zur Rezeption und habe mein Anliegen geschildert: wir haben sofort ein gehobeneres sehr ruhiges Zimmer bekommen - ohne Aufpreis! Man hat uns nach allen Dingen die nicht ok waren gefragt, da man uns bestätigt hat, dass sie sich verbessern wollen und auf feedback angewiesen sind. In diesem Zimmer hat wirklich alles gepasst! |

de omgeving was ontzettend mooi, was net alsof je in de jungle zat, heel veel groen, watervalletjes..bij het zwembad had je een mooi overzicht op zee...aardige personeel (familiebedrijf) |

De sfeer van het Varinda Garden Resort is zeer bijzonder, de ligging ten opzichte van het strand en centrum van Lamai uitstekend, rustig maar alles op zeer korte afstand bereikbaar. Het personeel doet er alles aan je het naar de zin te maken. De familyhouses beschikken over een 2- en 3 pers. slaapkamer. Minder aan te raden voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn (ligging van het resort ligt verhoogd t.o.v. strand en centrum) , Het hele resort is sfeervol voorzien van decoratieve kunst, potten en planten en daarom wellicht minder geschikt voor mensen met hele jonge kinderen. Dit geldt ook voor het zwembad, er liggen leuke opblaasspeeltjes voor kleintjes, maar er is niet echt ruimte om langs het zwembad te lopen en spelen. |
