We like the breakfast here. The location is also good. (great roti place nearby :D) It's very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There is a pubic hair on our bed when we just got into our room. The towel didn't seem very clean either since there is a stain on it. Never leave your sweets in the room (even in a ziploc)! We had lots of ants coming and the staff will only wipe them off with fingers or spray pesticide in your room.
Great location, friendly helpful staff.
A Paradise next to the Old city, with Thai atmosphere and smile.
Location is great, 7 min walking from the night bazar and the old city. Very clean and friendly.
No hot water in the shower, poor breakfast.
Nice quiet and relaxing hotel. All is very well kept. Staff is always ready to please you.
Breakfast room a little crowed (small room). Come early if u want to have room and choice.
We're both 46, and travel a lot, sometimes we splash out and spoil ourselves, with this we were not disappointed, good food, good advice, clean, comfortable, they're a good bunch there, relying on good decent service and word of mouth rather than treating us like a one chance wallet grab like a lot of places do, no, we were treated with respect, given good advice, we would definitely stay there again
We stayed in the Superior double room and it was amazing, huge comfy bed, great shower, flatscreen TV and attention to detail very high. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't eat there except for breakfast which was average. Location was great and we really enjoyed lying by the pool.
Nothing really, maybe a few more hot items for breakfast.
The location close to the night bazar, the city centre and the more important Temples. The room was very clean, new and well refined.
There's no elevator but the staff was friendly and proactive helping up with our baggages.
Very friendly staff. Clean hotel. We really liked it.
Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean rooms and an overall good and relaxing mood. Worth the money.
Cold water in the swimming pool. Rooms could have more practical furniture.
Easy walking distance to the old town. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.
Situated down a small back street. Tiny room with no window, just fully glazed double doors onto the stair well. Never seen such a small bathroom .... loo had a slightly obscure glazed sliding door into bedroom, no privacy. Poolside space very small, only 4 or 5 chairs. Breakfast space extremely cramped and insufficient tables. We would not return.
Interior design and gardens.
It should be cleary describe that room has no privacy as everyone passing by looks in your room. If you use curtains you have to use lights even at day time and feel like in prison. We had to move to another hotel after first night. Pool is in dark part of hotel and not inviting at all.
The staff were very helpful and the rooms very comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Place is clean and peaceful.
Lots of mosquitoes.. Water heater not regulated properly. Tap water from sink smells of sewage upon opening tap.
The staff were very helpful and the hotel is based just off night bazaar (the main strip). The rooms were very traditional which was great.
Only downfall would be the pool it only has sun until about 3, but there is s sundeck on the roof but you can't jump in a pool of you are too hot
location is good
front office impolite, they are not so helpful.
Location near temples and night market . Great nearby Restaurants
I know Chiang Mai well and although I hire a bike I stil like to be in the middle of the action. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Thapae Gate which is the centre of things. It is made in the Lannai style of Northern Thailand with beautiful wood and is very traditional. It is relatively small but very charming.
The 2 pools are small and only a few beds are around them. However most people are out so did find some eventually.
The hotel is beautiful, the room was very cozy but a bit noisy unfortunately. The internet worked very well all the time and the staff working at the hotel were very nice and was ready to assist at any time. The breakfast was also very good!
The room was too noisy as it was close to the stairs and the main door was a sliding glass door so one can hear the noise from other guests coming in and out of the hotel. The restaurant area was a bit small and was only open for breakfast.
Nice atmosphare with classic decoration, good location, really clean rooms, in all we had very good stay and perfect sleep here (2 nights only).
I did not try, but the pool's water seemed to be cold-I tried with hand and a German girl confirmed that was cold. Anyhow for me sometimes just have view on the pool is sufficient.
Location and room
Pool didn't get sun and breakfast was basic
I booked 2 rooms for 4 pax but last minute another relative joined. The conceirge wanted to charge extra 1250 B which is the price for extra bed but our room is too snall to fit in extra bed and not even extra towel. I find this very unreasonable but the person at the counter only charged us extra 250b for the extra person and with breakfast.
From Manager down all staff were fantastic and helpful. The room was great and bed comfortable. Location very convenient to transport and things to do. Hotel was clean.
The pool view and serene.
Friendliness of staff. Good if you dont travel with a car.
Parking space. Road into the hotel. Picture in website can be misleading. Not horrible but size of room not worth the price.
