Very helpful staff. The rooms are clean and especially the other customers are not noisy (comparing other hotels in Khao San Area). Night receptionist very unfriendly and unhelpful

Great hotel, staff are awesome-I always stay here cause I feel safe on my own. Never had a problem and been staying every year for 10yrs!! Yummy breakie catering for all tastes. Great pool! Love to get exercise doing lengths as it too hot and dirty to run here-short lengths-12m lol!!! would be good if the pool and gym opened one hour earlier at 7am cause I work big days and I like to get started earlier.

With two small kids you really need a pool when visiting Bangkok. The triple room was clean and large enough for our family and the staff are very friendly. The only downside of this location is that metro and skytrain are quite far off and the taxi- and tuktukdrivers in front of the hotel ask ridiculous prices. We always walked a bit and then hailed a cab.

Its central location. Foyer was much larger than anticipated, the rooms were considerably larger than I expected, the corridors were wide and the swimming pool was much bigger than expected. All in all a very favourable first visit. The staff were all friendly and helpful and it was an oasis in the middle of a loud and noisy environment. The rooms were remarkably quiet and beds very comfortable. After I saw the prices of surrounding hotels I realised it was quite expensive although it seemed cheap by Australian standards when I booked online.

I was there for Sogkran and it is the best location, but not if you arrive or leave during the festivities, The decor of the room is very basic which is a shame because the besda are really comfortable and the bathroom is great. A bit overpriced considering the other choices but a good hotel.

Well worth the upgrade to deluxe rooms. Not all rooms have proper windows, we looked out onto a carpark at the back of the building, some rooms on lower floors can be noisy.

Location in the road adjacent to Khoa San so not as loud. small gym. Excellent hotel staff Softest beds which you literally sunk into, in my opinion amazing Unfortunately the pool was undergoing necessary maintenance, 19th -29th march, which wasn't made clear on booking and or checking in. Once in the elevator there is a small sign. One of the main reasons for staying here was the use of a pool. The internet wasn't free, although you were given a free hour upon arrival. considering the pool was out of use i believe the internet should have been free for the duration. The height of the ceiling was low and even lower in the bathrooms. Im 6'2 which isn't exceptionally tall however in the bathroom had to duck, and when showering was almost in a crouch position. Maybe that was just my room! All that being considered though would stay here again if the pool was in use

Great location and reasonable value for money. A good solid mid ranged hotel in the heart of a fun shopping district. Very close to temples etc too. Front rooms a little on the noisy side. Pool lost sun by 3pm but that might have been a blessing on a day that reached 40 degrees !!

Location. Nice pool area. The window in the room was frosted (opaque) glass which lessened the natural light in the room and meant there was no view. The window was facing a car park.

I had stayed at the Viengtai Hotel 3 years ago and I went back to it this year because I liked it a lot and it has a great location in Bangkok The staff is super nice and helpful The breakfast buffet is very good If you ask for a room away from the road, it is not noisy As a non- smoker, they have about 3 or 4 floors that are non-smoking, so that is great! You would not be disappointed in staying here at all!

The hotel is very close to all the action, the breakfast is delicious and filling and the rooms are huge, pool relaxing and there are plenty of lifts! People complained if you were too loud! Walls must therefore be thin!

The willingness of the management to fit us in after we had made a mistake in our booking. Its situation amid the disaster of the Khao San Road district. Nevertheless, once inside, it becomes a haven from all but the cacophany.

The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is right in the heart of the Koasan Road market/restaurant/bar strip, but a quiet oasis amid the bustle outside. They are remodeling some rooms, ours was an older room in perfectly good order. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet too. And did I mention the staff was gracious and accomodating.? p.s. The pool on the third floor was fun for the kids and the sepate adult pool was relaxing for us adults.

“The location at the river pier makes transport around part of bangkok extremely easy and is very convenient. The swimming pool on the roof of the hotel is very romantic and exciting place to spend an evening at. Out hotel room was very comfortable, and offered pieceful nights with no noise from the street ( it was the room with north side facing balcony, which rooms are also the cheapest ones). the breakfast was very good and offered rich selection of food, of european as well as Thai style. The staff were very curteous, polite and helpful. Overall, we spent very nice three nights there.” Pavel, Bury |
